Hello to all. This girl's origin is unknown as I got the seed from another grower who hadn't labelled them & forgot what strain they were as they had been lying around for a while, all I know is he usually gets some good genetics & I'm fairly sure they are fem seeds. She is the only one to make it out of 4. Trying some different training methods this grow such as super cropping, HST. Has been topped twice, have kept first set of branching under manifold & trained to be crowns then super cropped over at same height as other 2 super cropped branches to create 8 main colas & some secondary branching left as well (like Nebula Haze's method G.W.E.). Even though it has been mainlined I will be training her through a scrog net it was trained that way to create multiple evenly spaced branching to train in different directions through the net. I will be scrogging as there is only 1 plant & my last grow I did a scrog grow for the first time & was absolutely blown away by yields. I got a new personal best of 7.75 Oz of 1 plant. 18 Oz all up off 3 plants, I rushed in veg, only 3 weeks veging, Monster cropped clones although clone 3 was virtually 12/12 from rooting, very small but had nice flowering stretch! They say scrogging can increase yields by as much as 40%, well I am now a believer 😋, Thanks for checking out my diary & please give me a like if you liked the content. Happy growing

Hello, I flipped her over to 12/12 on Saturday 8/7/23. Changed nutrients on Wednesday 12/7/23 to flowering line, just wanted to use up all the veg nute's & I've also read some where it can help with & promote flowering stretch? Modified scrog net to make square's smaller, was 5×5inch , now 2.5×2.5inch square's, holds the stems better & seperate's them more. Done some light defoliation to remove large shade leaves covering Bud sites. Super cropped some small branches to train them in the direction I want them to go, to fill up large empty spaces. Could have done Lst bending, but I like to try new training & grow methods each grow to put the theory I've learnt into practice to better myself as a grower, so it's super cropping HST this grow. Started seeing first pistils , everything going smooth, continue training through net . It's a big job scroging, all that plant training through the net can wear you out! Just ask the Urban Grow Cat, he's absolutely worn out from helping me in the garden, as you can see from the photos. I have noticed a mistake on my diary, it say's that she is still in veg. However she is currently entering week 3 of flower, i have edited it to flowering. ( Sorry about the mistake , Grow cat is still learning how to use a laptop!
Hello , well she started producing pistils & budlets at beginning of the week. I switched the light onto it's super lumen setting, which gives it another 60 watts so now on 660watts , stopped training through the net. Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. Well I'm a bit disappointed with how this grow ended up, this plant didn't meet it's potential! It was looking good but the buds never really stacked up & put on much size. There's plenty of buds but just poor size & structure , very slow to flower, looks as if it could go another few weeks, however I can see the buds are not putting on any more size, & don't want to waste any more time on it & I need this grow tent to flower some fast Flowering plants I currently have in veg.
Even though the buds didn't really seem to fill out properly & put on much size & weight, maybe some of that comes down to Genetics & strain??? & Grower! She Seemed to go all right through out the grow, no nutrient issues , she did get a bit of light burn mid flower, didn't seem to affect her to much. For a Scrog grow she definitely didn't meet her potential. In the end I chopped her a bit early, could definitely have gone a couple of weeks longer! But since they didn't seem to be developing much, & yield wasn't looking great, I harvested a little early . Week-8 Day-56. Majority of trichomes were cloudy. Cut plant at the base & hung to dry in sections on the branch to break her up a bit for better air flow. Dried in tent at 19°celsius. Humidity between 50% & 60% for a week & half. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality 😋 nice terpenes with a lemon/ pine smell & nice tasty smooth but dank smoke. Buds were small but compact & dense? THC content was medium or better. Had indica feel to her mostly with some couch lock. Afternoon nap material.
