Plants are getting too big for enough light coverage, so had to buy a second grow light. As noted before, the plant was getting out of hand and growing at many different heights making it difficult to set the optimum light distance. So, I went a little crazy and did some serious pruning (yes, during flowing, I know). Also trimmed off a number of fan leaves that were either beginning to yellow or were otherwise blocking valuable light from the many of the smaller buds. Fortunately my plants are very resilient and are finally at mostly equal heights now. Hindsight 20/20: I now have a better idea of how to route my plants using the ScrOG method. I found a well written blog that answered all the questions I had that other article didn't. Bottom line: Instead of allowing the main branches to grow through the netting and re-route the offshoots, I've found it's better to keep the main branches under the netting and allow the off-shoots to grow through instead. Think of it as the plant growing sideways.

A really big bushy tree that makes me smile every time I look at her.. Noticed caterpillars are wrapping themselves in sugar leaves of bud sites and eating through the centre, seen and removed 3 of them so far..luckily I have some Bacillus Thuringiensis on hand to spray them so hopefully that will do its job and kill the buggers. Can't believe its still growing. Its outgrown my 3 yr old jackfruit tree now. Now I have a huge praying Mantis on my plant.. hopefully she will cleanup my bug problem.

Hi growmies, unfortunately I skipped a day checking on the reservoir and the plant must have consumed a lot more water than expected, probably due to the heat we are experiencing where I live, since I realized tip burn getting worse everywhere I checked the ec, which was close to 3 😳, topped up with RO water right away and this seems to have stopped it. Other than that I don’t think it bothered the plant too much either, as she keeps on swelling bigger and bigger. A&B fertilizer was reduced already and once, either next week or the one after I’ll start flushing, depending on the stage of ripening.

Topped almost everyone. Anaphylaxis are exploding. Super fast vegetative growth. Very impressed so far. The osiris and wedding pie seem to have very short internodal spacing. I am guessing that they don't need as much light as the other strains.

Videos explains it briefly how they look so on the environmental side I’ve only been monitoring RH and temps. They’ve been sitting at 55-60 RH and 80-82 F. I separated the 4 plants as they were now overlapping in the 2x2’ section. They were transplanted in 2 gallon pots last week and by the looks of the Beast at most 2 weeks and she will fill that pot no problemo. I need to get them to 5 gallons before switching to flower. It starts with good genetics I couldn’t be any happier with the Beast, still amazes me daily.

Day 56: These 3 girls are finishing out. Cyco nutrients did awesome for me! I found a top with some bud rot beginning to start so I lopped that off. It was not much, but I got it early (learned first hand in the Gorilla Girl grow). Humidity has been higher these days. Buds are turning slightly purple. Decent amount of sugar on the buds now. Trics are mostly cloudy, very few amber. Most pistals have withered and calyx look swollen. Smell is beginning to give a cakey-gas undertone to the up front scent of overripe cantaloupe across all 3 plants. There is a tiny bit of pine. I need a cell with a better camera :( Some more days of water and Flawless Finish then the chop.

This strain is performing like crazy. My god, she just wants to go and go and go. See the difference with the previous week, it's going crazy in this tent. I had some space to fill because one of her roommates turned out male. More about this in my Xtra Kush diary. But fill up they did, I turned her around, for the change of scenery, but also to let the longer side branches fill up the space in the scrog. And did she. With all these bud sites, the rapid growth of flowers, this strain is having a good time. Very happy with how my soil recipe is performing (see the yellow image in earlier pages), none of the crazy stories of going hermie when stressed. Just some T. L. C. and this strain outperforms anything I have recently grown. But this SP-3000 is just a beast of a light and we owe much of this success to @MarsHydroLED, who was so kind to let us try their light. A big hello to My fellow growers & friends 👋 Finally the big day has come, as of today at 7pm i will turn out the lights and start five (or so) days of darkness for the four lovely Killer Kush girls. The trichomes are reaady (in my opinion), it took a little bit longer than expected but it's the first time I grew photoperiods. Super happy how it turn out tought 😍 Here are the transcripts of how my week did go through: 12.09. My Ph is 5,95 and the girls drunk very little last night so i add some 4 ml. of Ph+ to the reservoir PH: 6,15 EC: 3.8 15.09. I thought that this day would be my last day of light for the plants but after heavy consideration and observation of the flowers i decided to give them 5 more days and with it some more nutrients adding: Jungle Indabox :A: 25ml. B: 75ml. M: 50ml. Plagron green Sensation: 82ml. Sugar Royal 33ml. Canna Cal Mag: 70ml. Hesi Powerzyme: 70ml. PH: 6,2 EC: 4.1 Yesterday on 18.IX. I came down to the basement and wound aa puddle of water (see the pictures) it was not system leak, sometimes my basement just takes on water...obviously it's more moisture is very unwelcome at this stage. I plugged in my dehumidifier and after couple hours the puddle was gone... you can see in the picture how much Watts my system is using all together with a dehumidifier included. Added some Universol Yellow to counterpart the KMPS which has high K. ORP dropped a lot, countered it with KMPS and POLY(DIMETHYLAMINE-CO-EPICHLOROHYDRIN). Discovered some Bananas on Christmas, the plant looked due anyway so no worries, wanted to chop her anyway, guess I was right with the timing and the plant showed me it is done and did a last attempt to pollinate itself, normal behaviour in my opinion, also the Bananas were blanks, didn't see any pollen. Chopped her on day 83 from sprout that's why this week only has 6 days. Values are average of the day. I never actually weighed this plant once dried. I would estimate around 400+ grams as I gave away so much to friends and it still lasted me well over 2 years. Beleive it or not, my wife who disapproves of me smoking never knew I was growing. Until the end that is when she needed a screw driver and entered my shed to see what you can see in the videos. Hahahaha, it took a while to recover from this thats for sure. After this crop was finished, I basically rarely smoked for 4 years until I decided to go under lights this year. And now outdoors again with my latest project.
