Day 92 (September 16th): so I’ve realized a PH issue in the soil… unfortunately it’s too late to make a drastic change, but I’ve lowered the PH in my water to try and level her out until harvest. This would explain my multitude of deficiencies I’ve been having. Still not sure how to better manage soil PH but you can be damn sure I’ll do my research so it won’t happen again. Soil is hard haha. Day 94: starting to see more and more amber trichomes. This will likely be my last week of flower. Should be ready around day 100. Let’s see what happens! Day 97: So I’m starting to think I was wrong… these may have more time than I thought still. I’m definitely okay with that. Hopefully they continue to produce and thicken up.

I let her heal under LED after the last major defoliation and moved her to the flowering tent after the first sign of new growth. She wasn't very happy under the intense light ( I don't ever work my plants up to it, i prob should lol) but she's starting to come around :)

This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

I have started flushing with pH-adjusted Flawless Finish solution, expecting to harvest somewhere around the end of this week, although I will continue monitoring pistils and trichs. Upd: Added back 50% base nutrients and some flowering additives after researching some of the first responses to my flushing question. I learn every day. Even that which was scientifically proven true one day, might be even more scientifically proven absolutely false some time later (not related to flushing specifically). Thank you kings! Upd 2: Okay okay I cooked her with some cosmic rays or whatever those Chinese quantum bars emit — purple rays, I'll call it — that's on me. Turned them 30% down to see what's up. Light burn was not on my mind, because otherwise the leaves were not really curving that much, considering that this is 3 weeks overdue wrt advertised. Sorry about that, did not pay enough attention.

Ansonsten gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Kleiner Topf, nicht grosse Erwartungen aber gespannt auf das Ergebniss 🙌🏼

Week 5 defoliated a little but not much , there getting sticky and the smell is getting really strong now with a smell of oranges and pungent weed , you can see the trichomes forming all over the plants , they look similar at this point to super lemon haze and are stretching like it too.

Grow notes week 3 #1 This plant is healthy and thriving. She’s the first to show pistols which means I should change her status to flowering but I won’t do that until it’s pretty obviously in flower. She’s taking the training nicely and I think I’m starting to figure things out when it comes to training.. the trick is to simply SLOW DOWN. #2 is looking great! Her leaves are healthy and node spacing is just how I like it to look. She likes LST and seems happy with the maxi grow/bloom series. The roots on each plant are healthy and white #3 is getting greener each day but I’m starting to believe it’s either genetics or this nutrient line that’s causing this effect. #4 is the thickest and biggest plant of the bunch. However, she is displaying rust spots and potential calcium or iron deficiency on the lower older leaves. I may have to feed heavier on cal mag while running this nutrient line up. Week 9 of Flower & Happy Day 60 of Flower, you beauty 😍 She continues to stun with her amazing colours fading. I tried to best show her beauty with different bgr colors, with whatever is possible in my home. I decided against flushing her. I will decrease her feeding towards the end, but not flush her. Let's see how that works out. Currently guessing another 7 days? Let me know what you think :) Will post some trichome shots later. Happy day 🍃☀️ Day 61 - Took some trichome shots today. From the pictures I would almost say she's there? I see so many amber ones and purple transparent milky mixed ones. Hard to say. She's also almost red now, her leaves, no leaf left without fading... I didn't plan for her to be ready this week, aaaaaaaaah. Will she make another 5 days? I hope so. Also the light green shining things, what is it? I find them curled up on buds, they grow a white hair outside but they are curled like a little ball, is it balls???? I watered them today with 3l and a lighter feeding, 2ml bloom and topmax. I guess it was her last watering 😌 Looking at the trichomes and planning a little time-wise, I think I might let her under the light the whole tomorrow, then start the next in Darkness and leave her in the dark for the following 48hours. That should give me some time to prepare her harvest and upcoming drying situation a bit better. Exciting yeay 😝 Day 62 of Flower and 132 days in total and this lady has her last day with light. I went and checked her trichomes again, from top to bottom. She's ready 😍Now into darkness for min. 48 hours yeay

Hello Diary, The fourth week of flowering is over and we are slowly heading towards the end. Last week I did defoliation, so now there is better air flow through the whole plant. Purple Punch looks great, some leaves take on a yellowish color which are the first signs that its end is near. The flowers themselves fill very nicely and become larger and larger and are full of trichomes. As you can see in the photos, Purple Punch has a nice shape, good leaf color, the scent is intense, it’s just all great and I’m looking forward to the harvest. Although there are two Purple Punch on the Farm, I didn’t do photos of both plants this time but I promise to show both in the end. In one watering I added Biobizz and that was the last addition of nutrients for her. From now on just flushing. Conditions in the growbox are good, the temperature varies around 25 degrees, while the humidity is around 40%. Now comes the stage when I start observing the development of trichomes through a microscope, it’s a special experience for me, like I’m looking at something from another planet. Here's a brief overview of the week: 11/03/2021 - Day 44. Watering. I didn’t add any nutrients, I just lowered p.H. water at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 36% humidity. 13/03/2021 - Day 46. Watering. p.H. I downgraded to 6.4 and added BioBizz as scheduled for the current week. This will be the last addition of nutrients. From now on only clean water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26 degrees and 39% humidity. 16/03/2021 - Day 49.
