Stretching is slowing down now. I defoliated reasonably hard 2 weeks ago , now I know I should have gone harder but this is my first time growing this strain. I've got one pheno that's looking like it will be done in the next week or two . I have one pheno that has very few stigma which is something I've only ever seen before on super lemon haze crossed with mimosa evo . You can see them in the video. Keep growing 💚

12/11/2021 - held in a glass of filtered water for 24 hours and then used the paper towel method for 48 hours. Seeds planted today in 6 litre pots to germinate before being moved to 15 litre pots on week 3 of veg. high humidity this week - 70% - and 100ml of filtered water every other day. 16/11/21 - all 9 have broken the soil and are stretching slightly to the light 20/11/21 root juice

What a harvest! Did not expect the size or quantity of buds. The previous issues did not seem to bother them at all, I just can't believe how much flower there is! Got it all drying, hopefully in a week I will be able to do the final recap and give a dry weight. Big shout out to Sweet Seeds, I don't want to overestimate it but I think we all will be shocked by the amount of dried bud I have next week!

Gave the big girls some HST this week. Pics and video were taken 2 days after the bending. I bent the main stalk on all of the big girls, except one of the Cherry CBD plants. One Cherry CBD plant seemed to have been overwatered and bent over by its self at the base of the stem 😮. I put more soil in that pot and supported the stem so its standing upright again. I think the stem should heal itself in the new dirt and may possibly create new roots. In the veg tent its a bit of a jungle. Since the pics and video were taken I have moved 6 plants into the flowering room (its getting crowded in there). 7 of the clones seemed to have survived, 6 Cherry CBD and 1 DinaMed CBD+, they have been transplanted into 5.5" square pots also since the pics were taken. Sorry I'm a little late getting this weeks post up, I'll try to get next weeks update up quicker.

Really happy with the progress. Not as full as others I've seen, but I've learned a lot in the process and will be better prepared from the start to grow big beautiful plants next time. Especially happy that Chonga has grown so much stronger and is now the exact same height as sister Chonga. Both plants have reached 21 inches.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. Monday Gave her a good dose of sugar Royal, and a bit PK and pure zym, touch of alg a mic, all looks good, buds are filling out nicely 😀 Tuesday Small feeding today, heavy on the PK 13/14 I'm fighting the humidity but it's manageable so far Wednesday Got a very small pruning, I don't want to touch it too much plus i only have a 60cm × 60cm tent its hard to work in it and this is a big f##king plant, to be honest I didn't think it would get this big but its my first grow! I've read that's it's not good to prune autoflowers too much but this things getting pretty dense so I cleared out the bottom a bit for air flow. Buds are really swelling now, and I think they are turning blueish purple?! I can see it on all the big colas and they are starting to get sticky! Thursday No feeding/watering today, I'm starting a flush as of now, today is a dry day for the plant so fresh water only from tomorrow on. Today all I have to do is look at it, and she's beautiful! Smell is really picking up inside the tent, carbon filter is earning his keep now, super good those rhinos and I only have the hobby one! Friday Gave her a hard flush today, it took a LOT of water! Just clean water from now on, it think I'm well within 2 weeks of cutting so fingers crossed it keeps going Saturday Absolutely no work done on it today, its a waiting game now and I think I'm going to win soon! Sunday I decided to take a chance and discard some of the small lower branches, I think I should have trimmed a lot more off much sooner, however my inexperience with a scrog net coupled with the small size of the tent and how big the thing grew its become impossible to move it out of the tent and its very difficult to get into the back of it to lollipop it! 🤣 next one will be much better, this is still going to be a big yield I suspect but lots of smaller popcorn nugs will make up most of the weight, there's still about 3 dozen nice colas tho that will hopefully bulk up more, any feedback and tips would be appreciated!
