🌸 Woche 5 der Blüte Die Early Skunks sind jetzt mitten in der Blüte und entwickeln sich richtig stark. Der Stretch ist so gut wie durch und die Pflanzen haben ein schönes, gleichmäßiges Blätterdach aufgebaut. Die Blüten werden von Tag zu Tag sichtbarer und setzen schon ordentlich Harz an. Das DWC-System läuft stabil: frische Nährlösung, klare Werte und die Wurzeln strahlend weiß. Genau so soll es in dieser Phase aussehen. Die Pflanzen nehmen sehr gut auf und zeigen keinerlei Mängel oder Stress – Farbe, Struktur und Wachstum sind voll im grünen Bereich. Das Klima bleibt konstant und das Setup arbeitet sauber zusammen. Licht, Luft und CO₂ greifen perfekt ineinander, wodurch die Pflanzen richtig Tempo machen. Fazit: Sehr starke Woche. Gesunde Pflanzen, satte Farbe, stabile Blütenentwicklung. Alles bereit für die nächsten Wochen, in denen die Buds jetzt richtig zulegen werden. 🌱🔥

Plants seem to be growing ok, seeing some fade on the leaves. Not sure if this is a bit nutrient deficiency or not. Plants are drying out faster than usual, probably the temperature. Struggling to get it lower anlong with the humidity. May need a dehumidifier and to crank the a/c.

Day 57 - Starting off week 9 and she’s looking gorgeous still. Decided that I’m going to give her straight pH’d water from here on out. Trichs are mostly milky and caught a couple amber today. Thinking another week or two and she should be ready to chop but will keep a close eye on everything. Has been such an easy grow so far, just didn’t end up as big as I expected but buds are really fat and frosty. Day 58 - Nothing new to really report. Going to continue giving her straight water and cal-mag. Didn’t notice much change from yesterday, thinking she might of stalled out a bit but hopefully these last two weeks she’ll really start packing on. Day 59 - Not noticing too much of a change the last couple of days, no new pistils showing and she’s starting to shrivel. There’s a few amber trichs in there but pretty much completely cloudy. Debating on a partial chop this weekend. Still flushing and giving her just water. Hopefully I can hold out chopping until the end of week 10 at least. Day 60 - She’s still looking good and REALLY frosty. Half the pictures I take almost look fake, she’s so frosty. Continuing just water to flush her out till the end. Decided I’m not gonna do a partial chop and just let her go till I think she’s done and hopefully more amber trichs. Day 61 - She’s still holding strong and still seems to be fattening a bit. Going by the trichomes, she should be ready for a harvest by the end of week 10, next weekend. Just going to continue watching her and if she needs more time, I’ll give her more time! Day 62 - No big changes, still looks like she’s on track for chopping next weekend. Will check her out again tomorrow and give her some more water. Can’t wait to start drying this girl, she’s smelling amazing. Day 63 - Last day of week 9 and she’s smelling really good. Still flushing her and think I might chop next Saturday. Will be 10 weeks total but we’ll see, continue watching the trichs.

The rest ist still stacking beautifully. Got a little wind/RH burn on the tents corners but still better than Mold. Temp 26-28 C Rh current 50-58% expecting week 7 to stack further and start to ripen out on the both Lobs, the chemD will take longer overall bud got a very very Oldschool structure and smell.

For another week I will rinse only with clean water and then I will cut it.

This is the shorty of the bunch. I topped and defoliated every plant. I'm trying to form them into canna-bushes. Hopefully I'm doing the correct training procedures to make them all grow that way both indoors and out.

Bent the day before water. 9-12 Big water, around 2-2.5 liters. Brought soil to where it should be. Will try to maintain 45-55% on eco witt. 9-14 This thing is growing great! Chopped on day 76 from when it was planted into soil. It was always scraggly and would remind me of the gimp hand dude in scary movie 2. It pushed along. It's aesthetically pleasing and a smooth smoke but I won't be growing it again. Not a fan of the high or anything else. Will sit on the shelves in grove bags until smashed into concentrate. I ended up with roughly 42 grams dry weight.

Finally the sun comes out. I think we are already in the swell. It looks very tasty.

Week 1 of flowering. Increased ppm from 1050 to 1150 I do see some growth but not looking optimal. Temps seem to get pretty cold at night. No sign of flowering yet.

This is my second grow. Started from seeds. 2 in big pots (I don't know the exact volume, around 30l-40l) and 4 in smaller 18l pots. I assumed that not all plants would grow nice so I thought it would be a good idea to start with 6 plants, and if they all grew I could give three away so that I have enough space (3 plants for 1 square meter). Problem was that the people that wanted the plants, could only take them in like week 14, and then they should already be in flower. Remember the word "should". So I sticked with 6 plants in a very confined space.. As described in the Video, this was before heavy defoliation. A few days later I flipped the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12. At this point I had already done LST and a combination of FIMing and Topping. The two big ones and one small are Mandarin jam and the other 3 in the small pots are Super Skunk. I think it would have been a better idea to put them in flower earlier.

Quick Summary: moved and transplanted around day 18 into 5 gal. airpots with fresh ocean forrest, flowering began around day 24, thought I maybe had some nutrient burn, more likely cause is phosphorous and/or cal/mag deficiencies, three plants in the home stretch, O has a bit longer Day 50 Update: Watered and took some pictures last night. Not much new. Pretty sure they have massive deficiencies instead of any burn. I may chronically underwater/underfeed my plants. I'm still learning. This is my fourth grow ever so there's still lots to learn. Day 51 Update: Meant to water today but didn't. Day 52 Update: I spent a while with each plant and took some pictures/video when plant O was out of the tent. You can see some pretty clear brown spots on a fair bit of the shorter two plants. S is all kinds of ugly, but who knows, maybe still put out a decent weight. I fed twice in a row now and added some CaliMagic (forget the company name) this time. I read about how when there are stronger lights or MORE lights, the plants can burn through phosphorous rapidly, so maybe that's the issue I had. Either way, about day 40 seems like when the nutrients can be more steadily increased. The shorter two, V and P, have about 2ish weeks so that will likely be their last feeding. S too probably. O, on the other hand, has several weeks left but is looking otherwise really solid. Hopefully I got enough nutrients in early enough in that plant's flowering that it won't show any deficiencies. It's a monster too! 38 inches to the top of the spire. The other three are 25, 21, and 19 inches still so likely their final heights. I kept the tallest as the plant height for the diary because the top end is good to know for other indoor growers. Day 53 Update: No news. Day 54 Update: No news. Day 55 Update: S, V, and P are the three shorter plants. They are all starting to take water a bit slower. They didn’t *need* water tonight, so I’ll give them another day. O, on the other hand, is a monster! Probably needed water yesterday. Filtered tap, about 2 gal for O tonight. Food next time for O also. Others are in the wind-down so we’ll see. I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Hello guys I’m sorry that I missed one week, the last week when she turned pink! Day 101 - harvest day, I had to wet trim my plant because i have problems with the humidity, it’s 98% rh outside and raining like hell. I haven’t invested in a dehumidifier yet didn’t think I had to use one🤦‍♂️🏽 Day 103 - day 3 drying Day 104: today I hade to cut the buds from the branches because my rh is to high hahaha! 😃 Day 105: I put my buds to jars today. I had a total of 124g trimmed buds! Day 106: had to put my buds outside the jars for 12hr for now to start with, had them over night and rh was 70% in the jars… having them now for drying again in 55%-60% rh
