Today I’m closing the Dorade extraction. This batch has been breaking down for about two weeks, and now it’s ready for the final steps: blend, neutralise, filter, bottle — done. I’m using a light citric-acid adjustment to kill the smell and stabilise the concentrate before storage. Then it goes through the sieves, gets a final squeeze, and straight into bottles. plant vigoureux ^^ sortie en 1 semaine j'ai simplement mi une pastille prés des racines afin quelle est tout ce dont elle aurait besoin. un peu d'eau pas trop pour ne pas la noyer. le petit godet a ete mis dans le substrat et ensuite planter dans son pot final. le maintient du climat est difficile j'ai peur que la temperature monte tro)p dans les prochaine semaine... j'aviserai à ce moment là la premiere graine nothern lignt a échouée, le strat easy ne me parait pas du toyut etre une bonne solution la germination a pris plus de 2 semaine, j'ai refait germer dans du coton une autre nothern lignt qui a pris en 2 jour lol ^^ bien plus efficace ^^. dans elle auras un peu de retard sur la stress killer espérons que ça va pas trop chanbouler la floraison ...

I apologise for the late updates, what you see on the photograph is what i found growing after my 5 day Christmas absence. i actually took the photographs on the day of my 41 birthday. During this time the four plants drank a lot of water that nobody was refilling, normally it was ok, this time though when i came beck the ph was at 5.6 after i replenished the missing water it jumpted to only 5.8. It happened first time to me so i thought "give it a couple of days girls will drink and the replenished fresh water with PH of 7.4 will up my reservoir", Unfortunately it was a bad choice, plants started to drink less and less every passing day, so at this week end started adding PH+ (first time since a long time, my PH+ bottle was bought in 2015 ;) During the week only added PH+ and PK 13-14. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SE 7000 is hanged at 40 cm. over the canopy and runs at 550W. I’d like to say I’m impressed with the steady growth rate and the fast flowering offset with this violet face, bud sites swelling and throwing out thick healthy pistols, eager to have this cured 😃

This plant was grown with Nature's Living Soil Autoflower used as a hot mix. Once in flower week 5 I top dressed with a little more NLS and then week 7 I added earthworm casting and phosphorus bat guano. So looking back this plant was small and with tight nodes in the grow phase but once the flowering phase started she stretched out nicely and made a turn around for better. After drying the buds are sticky and littered with trichomes. She came out pretty decent but I think I could do better.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Laid out the Srog nets with intention to change the light setting next week. Added pre-flower nutes as well as a 1" top dress - with some added nutrient mix. Thoroughly watered and ready to start training. Plant #1 - Super thick/compact, and SCROG will be a bitch. Plant #2 - More lanky but 3 weeks behind its sister. Going to go to flower as it does have my 16 bud sites.

So only after two weeks of curing these buds are becoming more and more refined! The texture of the buds is beautiful, it crumbles and grinds up effortlessly in my space case and is light, fluffy and almost “goopy” coming out of the grinder. I guess goopy is my description of ground bud that sticks together as it comes out of the grinder. It almost resembles goo or putty! That’s always a great indicator of a strain that has lots of sticky dank trichomes 😎 Now onto the high... I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first. I was initially caught off guard by how smooth the smoke went down, but usually after the first hit I feel something. After the first hit of this strain I didn’t, so I packed another bowl and sparked her up... not much different. Around 15min after my second hit I started to gradually feel a trippy/tingly full body buzz and strong head buzz come on. Once I sat down on the couch it’s like it fully kicked in and I really felt a truly euphoric full body high along with a head high that felt incredible. She’s definitely what some would call a “creeper strain”! To me though, the high is reminiscent of the first hour after ingestion of some top quality cubensis! In a nutshell the high is euphoric, energetic and crisp. I don’t feel groggy at all when I smoke this strain, I can be extremely productive with work and still articulate my thoughts with ease. I also noticed that I don’t get anxious in public and even though this strain is extremely uplifting and energetic I have zero issues getting to sleep at night. I could truly classify this strain as medicinal and I know if I was still a caregiver this would be on constant rotation! I will update more after 2.5-3.0 months cure!

All good flowering nicely , I needed to remove a lot of fan leaves from the top of the Gelato Sorbet they were yellowish and some kind of deficiency is there.
