Harvest week for Auto Mintz arrived around week 14-15, with the two plants hitting about 90 cm and sporting sticky buds. The air carried a sharp, minty scent, and the trichomes had turned mostly milky with a few amber flecks – time to cut. Watering stopped a couple of days before, and on harvest day, the buds were trimmed carefully, yielding a modest but satisfying 140 grams dry from both plants. They dried over a week in a dark, ventilated spot at 20-22°C and 45-50% humidity, keeping their fresh aroma. It was a straightforward process with a decent outcome for the effort.

Overall I was happy with this strain and I did not have many problems growing. Plant was healthy for the entire grow with little to no signs of deficiencies. The only issue I had with the plant was it started sprouting a good amount of nanners the last few weeks of flower. I was able to pull them all off with tweezers, so now I just need to hope they didn't pollinate any of the other plants. Still need to dry for another two weeks, so I will provide a smoke report at that point. The plant is loud and still has that sweet funk. Excited to smoke it. I will be drying at 60° and 60% RH for 12 to 16 days. 12/28/2022: day 10 of drying at 60° and 60% RH. Smallest branches are starting to snap, but most of the main branches are not providing a noticable cracking sound yet. Buds are a little on the airy side, from what I can tell, but I'll provide a final update once trimmed. 1/2/2023: started trimming today, which is day 15 at 60° and 60% RH 1/4/2022: finished trimming and totaled 84 grams, so just under 3 oz. I know I said earlier the bud was a little airy, but I must have grabbed some lowers. Not the densest ever, but pretty nice nugs. Found some additional nanners I missed, but no seeds so far. Pretty happy with the results.

This week has been wild. I had to cut the sides of the greenhouse as the plants had it bursting at the seams. These girls are all flowering beautifully and starting to frost up. Happy Growing.

Week two of flower is here and the first pistils are popping out all over the place. I am pretty pleased with how the training is going and the grow overall. I will here give a report on each plant. 1) Back left plant. Growing very well, the most lateral branching of any plant of the four. multiple additional colas popping up to the canopy level. 2) Back right plant. Growing very well, however almost no lateral branching. Aside from the four main branches and the two lower nodes, there is almost no secondary growth at all, which males this plant a really bad candidate for scrog. To try to encourage more brancing I have topped one of the branches. I do my best. 3) Front left plant. Great growth here, very similar plant to the first. I did accidentally snap a cola off today while training. Whoops. 4) Front right plant. Very similar to the first and third, except she is four days younger so I'm quite pleased that she is holding her own in this scrog. How am I doing so far? This is my first time scrogging, and I am sort of winging it. If you see something wrong please tell me, or if you see something right! Day 8: Fertigated 5l each. Day 10: Photographed and applied defoliation and LST training to continue the scrog process. Day 12: Fertigated 5l each. I will do a final tucking and defoliation in two days, then I will let the girls grow from there in. The stretch finally... finally... stopped, just as I was starting to get worried about her outgrowing her bedroom. Four colas decided to shoot up above the rest of the canopy. I'm not mad about it. She's producing buds with vigor now--fat pistils and, interestingly, purple calyxes (happened with the last one I ran too... passive temp control for the win 🙃). A lot of trichomes popped up overnight too. She may finish sooner than I was expecting, which would be rad. She's grown into a real sphere of doom.

Growth has been steady and everything is thriving right now. Might need to get a new dehumidifier soon mine is starting to shit the bed so RH levels are a little high with lights out but the heater keeps them low enough to get by at this point. I removed all the fan leaves on these 2 around day 17 and they didnt skip a beat. I will be removing the fan leaves on everything on day 21, these 2 were flipped a week earlier than the test to remove males. Hope everyone is practicing their social distancing skills. Vamos familia, como me gusta todo lo que provenga gelato, no sé porque pero me vuelve loco ese sabor y ese high tan bestial. Pues aquí va otra semana de las gelato olandese de dutchfem seeds , y ahora si que van con buen ritmo ,tienen un color y un vigor increíble una que no tenia mucha vegetación al final saco un par de laterales monumentales. This weeks video is not to trick anyone or deceive anyone. These plants are tough and if you start them young at higher EC values they will adapt. Never feed them to the point of harm…if you start to see burnt tips on the leaves then back off the EC. I hope all my videos helped someone along this journey. WEEK 7 TIME TO FLUSH FOR 2 WEEKS NUTRIENTS USED THIS WEEK PH’D WATER 5.8 It’s the end of week 7 and all is well. I will defoliate slowly over the next 2 weeks. All the major fan leaves will come off and any sugar leaves will be left in tact. Temps will be lowered, especially nighttime temperatures. Shooting for 66 degrees and 40% humidity at night. Daytime VPD will stay consistent at 1.4. CO2 will stop sometime this week. Really I am just looking to harden the colas not grow them any further. This weeks video is about EC “stacking”. I think it’s a good one and blows some people’s misconceptions about EC build up in the substrate. Just like you can train your plants with trellis netting, so can you train them with high EC. YOUR ENVIRONMENT MUST BE RIGHT BEFORE TRYING THIS. High CO2 levels and warm temps are a must for this to work and maintain rapid growth. Good luck guys and see you next week!

Sept 19 2022 - chopped the Russian this morning and is she ever ready. - 85 cm tall and 2lbs 8oz wet weight - target is 14 days hanging min. 20th - LSD does Not get chopped today… we’ll leave that for the weekend. 25th - LSD gets harvested tomorrow afternoon - Honduras x Panama and Panama Red get fed today 30th - day 12 of hanging and the Tzar Bomba is Not brittle yet Oct 1st - day 13 hanging, only 1 branch objected, we’ll get a few more days out of her

Took some clones 1 week before flipping to flower but forgot to take pictures. The video of the clones are from oct 1st. The Turnt smelled like chocolate cover strawberries but now are smelling of garlic and pepper with a bit of undertone of strawyberries. The Diesel smelled like lemon pinesol but now smells of citrus mixed with gas. The Banana Clipz smells of berries mixed with skunk. Paradiso smells of citrus mixed with fruit. Lung Buster smelled lightly sweet at first but now smells like berries mixed with a undertone of garlic,funk, and gas . Spilt Paint smells of berries mixed with diesel and funk.

Missed a few weeks due to laziness. Been quiet a bit of slow growth, and yet to see any colour in the the leafs yet. But still plodding along. Anyone grew this strain before??

Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12... I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plant remains in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... Nice thick plant ...strech is on the way albeit she hasn't grown that much yet. ..... 😅 Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;) ;)

Nice little stretch, did a bit of a defloiation to help with airflow and light penetration but I like to leave as many leaves on the plant as possible because the plant will use those leaves as batteries when it comes to mid to late flower. And its all about the microbes! Just been giving microbe bombs every week, once a week.
