D29. We're at the start of the first week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Today, I made some minor adjustments to the LST wires and tucked a few leaves to bring more light to the bud sites. ------------------------------ D31. She loves life and is starting to spread out over the Gorilla pot. I noticed a few yellow leaf tips on a single bud. No idea what is going on, but I'll keep an eye on her. Otherwise, she looks healthy, and I already see purple in her young flowers. I did some minor defoliation low down, but other than that, she is low maintenance now. All I do is tighten an LST wire now and then to maintain a flat canopy. ------------------------------ D32. I brewed up a quick compost tea using oat flour as the food source. Some people claim that that will result in a fungally dominant tea, so I thought I'd try it out. I also added humic acid and a teaspoon of myco because why not? Honestly, I'm not sure it is even possible to create a fungally dominant AACT, as the constant water movement will most likely tear the fungal hyphae apart as they form. In any case, a different food source should promote other bacteria than the molasses I usually use. Diversity is the name of the game in living soil. Well, in life in general. I gave her around 1 liter (5% of container volume) of tea @ pH 6.1. ------------------------------ D35. We're on the last day in the first week of flower. All is well in the tent, and there isn't much to report. One thing I did was buy a mushroom grow kit to keep in the tent. I figured I'd test it out and see how it works. The mushrooms produce CO2 that the plants love, and hopefully, I'll get some tasty Oyster mushrooms to eat — two birds with one stone and all that. ------------------------------

Semaine 12 : quelques moiavant la fin de la floraison.

End of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Got them outside... A bit late this year because of the weather. Cold nights. I put a heat sink in there this year to help keep the temp up at nights. 40 gallons of water is under the table. 8 - 5 gallon containers. I'll get them out of there when the weather gets warmer at night. The plants sure look happier in the last pictures that were taken this morning. The soil is 5 gallons of Sunshine Mix #4 (70% Moss) and 5 gallons of compost out of my composters, and mixed them. When I transplanted the plants I surrounded the root balls in the Sunshine mix that has neutral ph, so the roots will grow into the compost and not get burnt by the hot soil right next to the root ball. I added another 3 gallons of Sunshine mix to do that, and to top dress and fill the pots. All the plants have about the same amount of soil in their new pots. Just rain water for now. There is lots of food for them when the roots get to the compost mix. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

During the middle of this week I decided to stop the outward training of the branches & the allow vertical growth for beginning bud site formation . I don’t want to miss the beginning flower stretch kinda need it 😂. Decided to break the apical dominance of the main stem by LST’ing down . I noticed it was leagues ahead of the rest of the plant because it hung over the side of the pot so since I need to start slowing it’s vertical growth I figure now Is also time to get the rest of the canopy to catch up leaving me to space things accordingly later when/if necessary . Also decided to go ahead and do my 1st & last additional feeding since these girls where planted all I’ve had to do this grow was water when dry & train her to the best of my abilities. 2/15: Bud sites are really starting to thicken up. I think she's going to have to fat buds on her in the future. Gave a pH balanced flush today and rotated her in the tent. 2/19: Unsure if I have a light burn situation or a nutrient situation. Opted for another pH balanced rinse in lieu of nutes. Unfortunately I can't raise my light any higher. Will monitor..

Day 69 of flowering and still looking for the elusive Amber trichromes, they are 90% cloudy no amber 10% clear I will patiently wait I want to experience the more indica feel with these last few choice buds. Update Oct 19th 2017. Seen my first amber trich today, as I'm getting older I can't see through my loupe to view resin glands, so my wife showed me how too view them through pictures. All I can say is wow! She was able to zoom right in on them to get a good look. Maybe I will have to get a computer to show these fantastic shots I will uploaded ASAP YOU HAVE got to see them gorgeous girls see ya soon peace and love my brothers.
