Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. KL 08.00. The girls woke up after their beauty sleep, the leaves are always a bit down after 6 h of darkness, but they will stretch now when the HPS lamp starts. Everything looks good and I keep trying to tuck the leaves so they get the maximum amount of light where needed. Added pics and video. The Nr 3 girl is still a little bit behind the other 2 girls and all the 3 girls look like there 3 different pheno of the same plant. KL 23.30. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test. Kl 10.00 Tested PH in the soil, it was 6.9 and tested my tap water and it was 6.8. Added a video of the girls, its 10 H after defoliation, LST and leaftucking. I think its looking good. Kl 22.30. The summer is here. Black cream showing some colors but not what i imagine. But with out a dought some of the best buds i Have seen. Shes know senescence. Just let the lower buds get some power in 2 more weeks shes done. Im liking a lot the way CoshKush is going Very promissing branchs and a inner purple color to the picilis. Lets se as she fatns. Weeding Cake its looking like shes reduced grow speed. Like the tick piscilis now starting to go orange Bomberry looked so promessing in vege and now not so much. Late as allways.... She smell really good of cherry and fruits. She dont have soo much trichomes but I love the structure while she was growing... A productive one too. The only 2 are starting making orange hair.

*Pre-flowers have micro trichomes upon formation, LOL. Based on my early observation, I predict that these will be frosty frosty on the trichomes. Added 20lbs of black lava rock as mulch, raising soil temp around 1 and a half degrees to 72.8F. Some nice little bud formations are creeping up already. Nice little foliar spray of some aminos to the underside of the leaf. Hard to guage or know how much the aminos help, but after reading how energy intensive it is for the plant to make them from scratch its something I feel I need to do as a habit. An EC (Electrical Conductivity) meter, one that's made for the soil, it's so useful, as it indirectly indicates soil moisture as well as salt mineral nutrient levels. Just pop your metre stick in the soil and if ec is low, then it's time to water. Once there is water to assist in the conduction of electricity, the EC" will kick back up. 0.3-1.8, if it stays low, then you know it's time to add more mineral salt ferts! While Electrical Conductivity primarily indicates the overall salt content in soil, pH provides information about the relative proportion of cations (positively charged ions) in the soil's salt capacity. High EC signifies a higher salt concentration, while pH reflects the balance of cations like calcium, magnesium, potassium, ammoniacal nitrogen, sodium, and hydrogen. Smaller leaves have less surface area for stomata to occupy, so the stomata are packed more densely to maintain adequate gas exchange. Smaller leaves might have higher stomatal density to compensate for their smaller size, potentially maximizing carbon uptake and minimizing water loss. Environmental conditions like light intensity and water availability can influence stomatal density, and these factors can affect leaf size as well. Leaf development involves cell division and expansion, and stomatal differentiation is sensitive to these processes. In essence, the smaller leaf size can lead to a higher stomatal density due to the constraints of available space and the need to optimize gas exchange for photosynthesis and transpiration. In the long term, UV-B radiation can lead to more complex changes in stomatal morphology, including effects on both stomatal density and size, potentially impacting carbon sequestration and water use. The aerobic zone in soil is crucial. Day 17 in bloom! Been a very great week for the purple urkle, she’s sprung into action and caught up to the other girls! If she continues to stretch I’ll be able to take her off her 4” block she’s stood on as I had to raise her to canopy a couple of weeks back! But she’s flowering perfectly and has so many bud sites! 😊 she’ll now be fed with the big bud booster for 2 weeks!

5/14 - Coming along well. No noticeable changes to the leaves that seemed impacted by the heat. Still working through the pH damage but seem to have a good line on it and doesn't seem to be continuing to affect the buds. The strain with the purple buds (Plant #1) still continues to fatten up and is only keeping the purple color within the bud and not much on the leaves. The other is really getting some fat buds - much fatter than the purple strain. Noticing some slight foxtail on the bud closest to the light, so I might raise the light and dial back the intensity some if need be.

Nice week. Tropicana got healthy stuff in the last days. On day 29 I gave her a 1:10 homemade plant manure fertilization with comfrey and nettle which takes about two weeks to see a reaction. Three days later she got her next head fertilization to protect her with field horsetree extract and a cosmic sunstorm fertilization 😉. Smelling a bit but works good with fruit trees or veggies which are sensitive for mold and killer insects. Got to bring some 🐞cause I watched some lice while sucking Tropicana juice. 🤭😅 Northern lights night was nice to watch. Sun is shining and the Temperature during the days is up to 25 degrees. Day 34: Tropicana slept outside for the first time. The temperature at night is over 10 degrees now, soon even more.

11JULY2025: The buds swell. Leaves partially discolored. Not all 4 plants are at the same stage of flowering. Odor is intense.
