🗓️ WEEK 4 (veg) ⚙️ In this final week of the vegetative stage, I increased the lamp’s intensity to 100% while positioning it 60 cm away from the plant. My thinking here is that starting next week, we're flipping to a 12/12 light cycle, and I'll let the plant grow closer to the light, down to about 35 cm, without needing to dim it further. I also added a coal filter, since it starts to feel some smells. 💧 I raised the EC to 1.2, and the plant appears to be thriving, consuming roughly 1.5 liters per day. The pH has consistently fluctuated between 5.8 and 6.0. On day 28, I drained the DWC reservoir and started a 24-hour flush using tap water EC 0.6 - pH 5.8. This prepares the plant for the new nutrient solution that will be introduced during the upcoming transition phase. 🌱 She's growing really bushy and is still compact. To conclude the week, I performed another light defoliation, removing some lower, older leaves. The new growth looks excellent – all leaves display a beautiful, healthy green color, showing no signs of deficiencies.

This strain is performing like crazy. My god, she just wants to go and go and go. See the difference with the previous week, it's going crazy in this tent. I had some space to fill because one of her roommates turned out male. More about this in my Xtra Kush diary. But fill up they did, I turned her around, for the change of scenery, but also to let the longer side branches fill up the space in the scrog. And did she. With all these bud sites, the rapid growth of flowers, this strain is having a good time. Very happy with how my soil recipe is performing (see the yellow image in earlier pages), none of the crazy stories of going hermie when stressed. Just some T. L. C. and this strain outperforms anything I have recently grown. But this SP-3000 is just a beast of a light and we owe much of this success to @MarsHydroLED, who was so kind to let us try their light. White Runtz Day 79# The plant is progressing well, the last feeding I repeated the dose of tnt because it didn't show any real signs of preflowering, but now it is slowly entering preflowering and the next feeding gets bloom and boost. She is healthy, she is happy, all five. 2 days ago it was the end of her 11th week, the pictures and video are from yesterday. Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

The plant keeps maturing but is not there yet. I'm not the biggest fan of how it grew (long and slender) but might be a combination of the fertilizer choice and the new light. Anyways this plant should not have any mold issues ^^ Should be done i 1 or two weeks :)

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 5 weeks of flowering completed 2nd April 2020 Hi Everyone , Welcome back to my diary The plant I created is growing nicely nothing much to report other than the smell has changed yet again... Now it resembles yoghurt or slightly sour milk crossed with fruit. Not an unpleasent smell by any means just unusual. I'm not needing to feed a lot as the soil seems to be providing most of her nutritional needs. Now For the Aussie Music Videos Because this plant is geeting closer and closer to harvest time I thought I had better start doing more than one video a week lest I miss out on too many great videos I could add. So this week I have picked three videos from three different Artists all of which are very much loved here in australia. Day 99. All 3 girls down. Wet trim . Can't wait to try them out. Scissors hash was so sweet ... 1.6 kg for wet plant is not bad too I think. Plant A should be biggest in this grow from all strains ... She has to beat 202 g. of AD. Happy Growing !!!

Sigo alternando riego de agua un día con riego de Ascophillum Nodosum al día siguiente. He dejado de regar con Cannazym.

Started out with a cheap grow light bulb while waiting on my grow light to arrive. She stretched a bit and had some trouble holding herself upright. Mounded the stem to give support and placed a fan blowing up the tent wall. Added 3 tsp of Fox Farm Happy Frog fertilizer to the pot and did some Real Growers Recharge on 5/4/22. Watering with 6ph dechlorinated tap water when dry. Seems to be every other day currently.

Well I have 6 little seedlings that sprouted looking happy and healthy.Going to give just plain water once the pots dry up a bit more.Ill add Gaia green 4,4,4 top dressing with a shot of recharge in a few days after these seedlings are stronger.Se7000 set at 30 percent power and is raised to the ceiling.I prefer to do this over lowering the lights and intensity and not being able to walk around and work in the ⛺️.Day 4 added a 1 inch layer of farm farm ocean forest and I’ll water plain ph tap water when the pots are dry.Also placed some pins and anchors to tie down branches for when the girls are ready for training :)

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.
