Thank you to all that have helped me along this journey. All of the answers, tips, comments, likes, and other diaries have been so very motivating to me. I originally started this diary only for my own reference but I'm so pleased to have learned that others have found it helpful or interesting, for whatever reason. So, without further ado: Jan 19 Day 105 Harvest day! 🎉🎉 Not really knowing how to tackle the situation, I started by cutting all of the fan leaves I was able to reach. Then, I cut each branch working from the perimeter inward - which due to the way she grew, was essentially the same as working from the bottom branches of the meristem to the top. Each branch was cut, cleaned, and handled individually before moving on to the next. Decided to wet-trim most of the branches, leaving 4 fairly untouched (only fan leaves were removed). Will be interested to see the differences, if any. They're all drying/hanging near the grow tent ~45%RH, 72F (22C). It isn't completely dark though, as some light is escaping the tent into the closet where they are hanging. I'm hoping this isn't terrible but I'll be keeping my eye on them. The process took the better part of an evening but I was cautiously learning, taking breaks, and generally being fairly slow. I'm sure I'll be faster and more confident next time. Jan 27 Day 113 Drying is complete, I think. Branches were hung and dried for 8 days in a consistent 68F (20C) 40% RH. They were determined to be dried after hearing a snap when bending (not breaking) large stems and buds felt dry to touch. Sugar leaves bordering on crispy while buds still had some give / fluffiness. The flowers from previously manicured branches were relatively easily plucked. However, the dry trimming process for the unmanicured branches proved to be a bit of a pain. They have been placed in a pyrex container to cure. I'm hoping flavors and aromas that are currently lacking will develop in time. 🤞 --- Stats --- Veg time: ~45 days. Flowering time: ~60 days. Height ~18in., ~46cm. Main Bud Length: ~9in., 23cm. Harvested 16 Hangable branches and a few extra medium/small buds. Bud Wet Weight, with stems: 242g, ~8.5oz. Larf/Popcorn Sugar-leaf Wet Weight (not counted above): 18g, ~0.6oz. Leaf/Waste Wet Weight: 38g, ~1.3oz. Drying time: 8 days. Dried Weight with Stems: 70g, ~2oz. Trimmed and Dried Total Bud Weight: 50g, ~1.75oz. --- Thoughts in hindsight --- Firstly, I can't believe I haven't tried growing sooner. So rewarding in so many ways! My initial hope was to harvest an oz., so I am obviously quite happy we could surpass that mark by a good margin. This is a testament to the plant more than me of course, as I was completely inexperienced and was purposefully as hands-off as I could be comfortable with throughout her growth. I can only imagine things will improve with time. Paper-towel germination seems to be prone to more stress for myself and arguably the seedling as well. Floating in 1% H2O2 solution seems to be ideal for me. I made bad soil choices. This mixture seemed to be too dense, leading to some watering/strangulation issues mid-growth. My 2nd grow consisting of mostly coco coir seems healthier and seems easier to maintain proper hydration. Coco might also be reusable while this soil definitely seems spent now. I didn't respect pH at first and initial testing was eye-opening. That said, after simply testing water and fertilizer readings a few times, I gradually felt more comfortable with guestimating during most feedings, only testing sporadically later in her life cycle. This seemed to be fine and was a bit of a relief after early testing proved tedious every feed. I've been happy with Better-Gro orchid fertilizer. This is of course contrary to most advice, which I admit is probably for good reason. That said though, I didn't notice any major toxicities or deficiencies during her grow. So, these products seem to have worked for me and are so much more affordable than cannabis-specific fertilizers. I was quite weary about not having cal-mag, but this never seemed to be an issue in this particular case. However, I'll be keeping a similar eye on my 2nd grow in coco, which I understand may need it. Training and pruning is important. This plant was quite bushy and wild likely resulting in quite a bit of unnecessary larf/popcorn. Not to mention the additional time needed to trim when harvesting. Also regarding training, pipe cleaners can leave noticeable cuts in the stem they hold. Thickly coated flexible garden wire would likely be ideal. I need to get a loupe or magnifying attachment for the phone. Digital zoom with shaky hands is not great for checking trichomes and my 3x magnifying glass just doesn't cut it. I cannot speak toward potency or yield without more experience, but simply for the sake of a greener hue, I think I could've harvested her a week earlier. Because I left a few branches untended during dry, I was able to experience both the wet and dry trimming processes. Unless keeping leaves for extra humidity during drying, I seem to prefer wet trimming as the still supple leaves were easier to remove with less bud handling. All round great strain to grow , responds well to lolly popping technique , produced around 8/9 good main colas ,, covered in resinous terps with a strong earthy smell … I cannot wait to try this one she’s a beautifull looking plant DRSHOTZUK🍀🍀💚💚

As I said, she has become a single fat dense and sticky main cola, very compacted, looks like it's just 1 huge fat nugget. Very nice aroma but not stinky at all. I'm enjoying her, she's not very big but she's literally a single big fat nugget.

This week I had to Lollipop again (I know is very late and I hope I didn’t stressed the plant to much). My canopy is so tick and so many overlapping leaves and buds in the center of the plant that don’t receive enough light or any at all , n combination with the RH swings that I got going on (45 and 63 RH), I’m very afraid of mold. I should have did a better job at Lollipoping from day 21. I’m inexperienced grower and I didn’t knew better. I decided is better to risk to shock the plant a little bit risking a reduction in yield then get mold or pests and lose it all. My 30 pin dehumidifier works great with the AC but sometimes when the AC( compressor) stops my RH jump at 62% -63%, witch I don’t like . I’m trying to keep the humidity around 50% but in such a small room between the AC and Dehumidifier I got big swings in temp ( 75-82) and RH ( 45%-63%) witch is not ideal but is nothing that I can do. I played with the AC and Dehumidifier setting a lot trying to keep humidity around 50% and temp around 80 degrees and that’s the best I can. My AC is set at 82 degrees and my Dehumidifier is set at 45% RH. Also during the lights off (day time) is very hard to keep the temperature In control when outside is 110-115 degrees with my portable AC (1400BTU) in the 4x 6 closet. Is crazy but I do my best to keep temp under control. This is another rocky mistake I made is trying growing weed DWC in the middle of summer where temps are 105-115 degrees constant in a closet without centralized AC port and at second level in the building. LOL Also I think I underfed her (630 PPM TDS, PH 5.8-5.9) ) and I got a Ca deficiency witch I think is the reason my flowers developed slower then I anticipated. Hopefully I’m wrong and everything will be good. P.S. I got a little bit of calcium deficiency caused by salt buildup (to much PK boost) despite my earlier belief that is underfed. I increased the PPM from week 4 (630-640TDS) to 680 TDS) on week 5 while I kept the PK booster at 3+ml l per gallon. Slightly my PPM’s was rising in my reservoir for few days until I decided that my plant can’t take that much nutrients (PK). 2-3 days after I increased the TDS I’ve noticed more spots on the lower leaves with tip burns on top ( first signs of PK toxicity). One day later found spots and yellowing of the leaves on top of the plant that indicates Ca deficiency caused by salt buildup ( PK toxicity) and reversed osmosis (hope I’m not wrong). Going into week 6 I lowered the PK boost at 1.5ml / gallon and total TDS to 640 PPM. Seems like leaves damage to stop and my PPM to stay stabile at 630-640. Trying to keep PH at 5.8 max 5.9. I will post pictures of my Ca deficiency/ PK toxicity. If you guys have any suggestions please leave me a comment.

4/9/25 Welcome to another week. Week 5 since the flip of 12/12 just ended. So today is day 36 since 12/12. The begining of week 6. About halfway done with flowering. Time to start packing on weight. also its important to note that it took a week or so after 12/12 to have pistils show up. So its closer to 28 -30 days of Flowering. I have a foxtailing pheno thats mostly green with thin buds. I have a super chonker green pheno with ridiculously chunked up golfball sized nugs everywhere.(R3) I have a sativa style but thicker buds with nice long connected colas (R2) another smaller pheno with traits of some of the others and also green. and then a singlular pheno that looks gelato dominant and its purple pretty much everywhere to the point that i didnt notice its coloring until it was next to all of its sisters that are straight green. Strong strong smell, what an amazing smell, I'm enjoying an amazing strong amnesia haze clasic smell right now, cannot believe this lady is gonna be ready in around 65 days, let's see how she keeps developing in the further days of this 4th week of flower 😋😍👨‍🌾

Didn't post much I'm week 6 as not too much difference.. Was feeding by recommended dose as per nutrient bottle.. Switched to measuring by ppm mid week and has really made a difference. Now starting week 7 and looking lovely with fattening buds and ripening trichomes.. Gonna maybe push her for week to 10 days n the flush.. The yield is looking quite promising..

14 oz dry weight ish think it was 393g’s didnt weigh it for 14days was a stunning plant to grow nice mellow stoned defo happy with it and one i would recommend if u want big yield’s

This is it for these killer kushes! Different phenos, one was ready in 8 weeks, one in 9 and this last one in 10! The quality is definitely here, it’s just the speed that ain’t 🤣! Overall I’m happy with them even though every single one hermied on me (100% my fault)! No seeds in the end though, as I kept plucking balls and nanners every day for a couple of weeks!

August 18, day 108 (day 41f), the buds are going through their final ripening before harvest. They are putting on a bit of weight still, but the trichomes are close to where I would like them to be (entirely cloudy) and there is some foxtailing starting on some of the buds. I don't mind the foxtailing as it means more harvest weight, but the plant is definitely getting closer to the end of its life. The Mandarine scent and beautiful red tones make this strain a winner. The buds are chunky in a good, balanced, "I'm not going to find rot in the middle" kind of way. August 21, day 111 (44f), flush soon, cut soon. Got a bottle of Biotonex from the nice folks @Cannaboom, the promised shorter internodial distance actualy shows, as far as i can tell at this point Plants started smelling realy nice and sweet

El dorado og has some old school genetics to is and they are starting to shine. It’s really starting to stack up the stems real nicely. The plant reaks like skunk. I bet it turns out really nice All of the plants have really taken off. Usually I have a couple plants that are much smaller but all of these plants are getting huge. Seeing I got a new eluefah uap1500 the other day and I have my 2 fastbuds plants under that now I have my spider farmer light free. So I popped up another 2x2 and moved 3 of the 10 plants into the 2x2 and left the 7 other in the 2x4.

No hay mucho que comentar, sigo añadiendo humedad pulverizando con agua destilada 3 o 4 veces al dia. Y riego en cuanto veo que está "seco" A los 18 dias les hice un foliar con Hemplex , un bioestimulador. Con estas raices ya necesitan un transplante urgentemente, xd.

Little lady born on 2/21/2020. Really happy to watch her grow. I haven’t been able to grow out this strain before so I’m stoked on it. She’s on day 8 and showing her beautiful self. Let’s see what this journey has for us. Thanks for awesome genetics !!!!
