Week 3 (27-11 to 3-12) What's good everyone? We started this week off topping the lady and removing the 2 bottom shoots. The next day Santa came early 😁 Got 2 new clip fans and the AC5 Power strip from Spider Farmer. The power strip has 5 outlets you can control in the app, they can be turned on based on a time cycle, humidity or temps. It comes with a sensor that monitors light, temperature, and humidity. And a soil sensor that monitors soil moisture (VWC), temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC). It also has a light adapter to connect 2 lights, that can be controlled in the app aswell. The app shows the current VPD, i try to keep this around 1.0. In the middle of this week we increased the light intensity from 30% to 35%. LUX: 13.000/13.500 to LUX: 15.000/15.500 This week's growing conditions were 17.9°C to 22.4°C with a humidity of 55.5% to 67.6% and watered 2 times with 0.5L. See you next week!

Well unfortunatly due some technical issue on GD's side my pictures and videos arent uploading right so sorry for that. All plants seem to be adjusting fine and i took a cut (when topping) of the top right grape & cream cause she handled everything like a champ so far where the others had some difficulties. We'll see if that holds up come harvest time but maybe a cross between that pheno and a seedsister might be viable. Still just water. I did adjust the blumats to dry up a little more and the plants are taking that for the better. "Hey hey! Let's start with some exciting news, on the calendar it's day 91 of flowering. Phenotype number 1 finally matured on day 84 of flowering, I safely harvested, dried, and collected seeds, totaling approximately 1800 (no, I didn't count them). The goal was achieved, I gained a tremendous amount of experience, and now at least I have understanding. Lastly, I need to conduct a germination test to be sure. I already put a handful of seeds in a shot glass, next week I'll update on how it goes. Now, onto the not-so-great news, zelebob, aka number 3, refuses to give me its

Wow… she stretched really really well and shes gonna start her bulking phase soon. Shes growing vigorously with lush green color and great node spacing so I’m expecting a really good harvest!

They got fed FLOWER as a nutrient tea, the lights are now full blast (on 10), and very little trimming was needed this week. There is very little growth upwards. They are the same height as last week. These ladies are looking great! 😍 The buds have big pistols (hairs)! They are getting covered in trichomes all around the buds, and forming loose colas. They seem like they are close to finishing?? Oh, AND they smell strongly of terpentine and that blue dream smell!

Not much to report, a little defoliation covering any bud sights, havent started flushing just yet. Had some humidity spikes because of electricity going out (load shedding) but seem to be okay😇

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

Day 14 - 3 out of 5 are growing a little slow/weird, all 5 seem to be growing kinda slow compared to my first run of autos but hopefully everything does good🤞🏼 Happy growing friends🌱✌️🏼 Day 17 - Still have 2 extremely weird looking ones, really hoping they bounce back🙏🏼🤞🏼 Day 18 - 3 out of 5 still going strong, the other 2 havnt changed much!

The outdoor grow continues to come along nicely! Temps were up last week, getting in the 30's with the humidex, so the ladies got some extra water. Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

7/3 Hot as fuck today. Japanese beetles were around. I killed a few. I'm going to have to go over and keep an eye on things. It reached 90° today for the majority of the day. I watered around 1pm as I noticed most of the bags were very light. I'm glad I held off on the BT. I've dealt with jpn beetles before so hopfully that won't be an issue. Things are getting big. It won't let me upload any pictures or the video I did. I may upload it to past week. Went back over at night and and plants looked dropy but it was after 7pm and they were just going to sleep. 7/4 Didn't take photos this morning. Found some jpn beetles. That's the damage I've been seeing. I went back over last night to hunt them but I only got two. There weren't any others. No biggie. I'll put some pics up from today after I get back 7/5 Didn't get a chance to check the plants out today. My intuition tingled around 1pm and I had just gotten home and I ran over to check them. They displayed minor signs of heat stress as seen in the pics (due to the super high humidity and 90° weather) and the bags were light. A few were REALLY light. I could see they needed water. I WATERED 4 1/2 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. DO TO THE HIGH TENPS AND WINDS IVE HAD TO WATER THE LAST THREE DAYS IN A ROW. IVE SLOWLY STRARTED INCREASING VOLUME. I don't want to water until I get a shit ton of run off because I want to keep the nutes in my soil as long as possible. As you can see things are going great. Minor pests but notjing major. They're growing at a very rapid pace. I'll need to add another layer of supports soon and begin to LST some of these girls. I've got one seedling in a 10 gal and I'm pretty sure it's a feminized red runtz but it's in preflower and looks and SHOULD be a female but I haven't seen the white hair yet. Looks like a female preflower though. I do have one auto though in a 5 gallon tjats doing good too. I have a bunch of pics but the internet is too slow. I'll upload tomorrow. Started pouring around 6. 7/6 Poured sheet rain all night. After it had Bern super fucking hot and I watered my plants with 4 1/2 gallons. Oh well. If I didn't water we wouldn't have gotten the rain. The fabric bags makes watering easier. The wind will dry out the medium. We do have some rain in the forecast. A pallet fell over and knocked my 5 gal bucket with tje auto into a 10 gal seedling but it held the pallet up and didn't damage anything. Out of all the ways it coyldve landed it landed just right to not hurt anything. Everything is super healthy. I do have some random pest damage but it's minimal. I'll decide whether to use a spray or not. Didn't take pictures this morning. Was pressed for time. 7/7 Super hot even at 8a.m. Rained the majority of the day yesterday. Plants are getting HUGE. I'm going to have to build a second round of supports and should probably start some LSTing. They seem to like growing natural how they are (besides the original topping and FIMed. You can tell these are ALL very high % indicas. I'm seeing pistols spitting out everywhere. Event horizon and sherb cake seem to be in the lead. The seedlings have realky taken off. The one I put in the 50 has fan leaves the size of my hands. 7/8 Wow it has been extremely hot. It's going to be in the 90's again today. Checked my plants and it seems the GMOs seem to be using more water. Those bags were a little lighter. Seeing how there is no rain in for a few days I had to water. WATERED 3 1/2 GALLONS. LAST SEEDLING FINALLY SHOWED AS A FEMALE. 7/9 Bags are still heavy. Found ONE jpn beetle this morning. Plants seem to be bigger everytime I look.starying the stretch and spitting out some pistols. I took some pics of the pistles. I'll update 7/10 should've started a new week but I didn't. I'll make next week six days. Plants are starting ro stretch. Minor random pest damage but woth the heat they need lots of water. Noticed a couple dead interior leaves so I should probably go through everything and defoliate. I need to add another layer of supports as well.

Tres semanas desde el paso a floración a sido el tiempo que ha tardado en llegar ¡La Gran Hembra Colombiana!... a jugar! 💃😈 Creo que definitivamente la planta ha dejado de estirarse, para ello he continuado esta semana con la tortura estrambótica a modo de cableado de los ápices superiores rebeldes... yo también te quiero! 🧡 Ahora innumerables brotes florales adornan toda la planta, un horizonte estrellado de brillantes y vibrantes flores buscando su lugar en el cielo! La planta está muy ramificada, son ramas finas y delicadas, las hojas también, no hay ninguna rama que destaque sobre otras, el aspecto general me recuerda a un cañaveral, espero para las próximas semanas endurecimiento y fortalecimiento de todas las ramas, estas se deben preparar para soportar todo el peso de los cogollos que pienso cultivar... a muerte! El consumo de agua es alto, riego profundamente cada 4 días con componentes variados, las últimas semanas he intentado fortalecer y dar energía a la planta añadiendo Bio Estimulantes a las mezclas de riego, todo para preparar a esta leyenda sativa para el cambio a Bio fertilizantes de floración y más concentración de nutrientes... todo por la causa! Como estamos en verano y hace mucho calor, mi agua de montaña que almaceno para riegos mantiene una temperatura ambiente de 25°C, yo prefiero bajarla hasta los 20°C, para ello mantengo agua en el frigorífico y la mezclo a la hora de regar, el agua a 20°C transporta más oxígeno al sustrato y le refresca... a quien no le gusta una ducha fría en verano? Esta semana he hecho también un aporte de enmiendas secas: Harina de huesos, Guano de murciélago y Guano de gusano de la harina, comida para el sustrato, los microorganismos y la planta... en el cultivo de cannabis soy partidario de la obesidad, no hay nada más sano!! 🖐️😈 Hasta la próxima... The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. The plant, as it performs cellular respiration, will always be releasing more water into the air, so the RH% of the tent overnight will always increase, so long as oxidative phosphorylation is occurring. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over. This creates a strong pressure differential which will work wonders on your grow. Replicating high and low-pressure fronts in nature. Critical for oxygen diffusion at the critical time of peak cellular respiratory function.. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow more slowly to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. I got at least 2 vids this time , in the next week a lil bit more , i use the whole hesi nutrient pack btw and are really impressed what LED and a noob scrog grow results to , don´t get me wrong but its a huge difference to hps and some untopped plants under it ;) , happy about all feedback btw. The small growing Orange Lemon in mid seems to have a lot more haze DNA . Left Gran Jefa, right back Fullgas , right Front and mid Lemon Orange.

I did a really big stress training pulling the branches way down on a 32nd day on the 33rd day the branches shut right back up this LSD plant is very strong and I’m looking forward to big buds

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
