tent 1: as last week - coming along very strong with weighty buds and a lovely fresh white widow aroma forming - trichomes are getting thicker covering the plants with little crystals. may need some more sticks for support in the final weeks. 4 weeks of growth left and last week on the nirvana nutrient. pistils still mostly white tent 2: as last week also coming along well - trichomes are forming and the colas are looking heavy. nice to see mutli bud heads at the top of the colas on some plants - the mutants as i call them - hopefully showing their big bud genetics - pistals still mostly white. Tent 3: thankfully no hermaphrodites having been stuck in the light as per last week. the plant has returned to flowering nicely though looks alittle weak - a slight mistake that i do not want to make again - pistals and crowns are showing though and coming through with good progress. will lollipop next week. Tent 4: way more advanced than tent 3 with multiple pistils and colas blooming nicely - will need to lollipop next week.

Day 64: Started flushing the girls today. Got All milky and starting to go amber. Day 65: Still flushing. The girls smell amazing. I have one in the bunch that is SUPER airy and I am just not sure what is going on with her. It's the girl that I accidently broke off the main cola a while back. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Day 66: No new updates. Cut one of the colas off for a taste test and trial run on drying as this is my first go. Figure if I can dry this super dense beauty with no issue, I will be able to dry the rest. Have it hung up in the spare bathroom. Stays roughly 71° in our house and I'd say roughly 40%ish humidity. Day 67: Girls are smelling really nice! I keep looking at trich's and looks like no change. They are all cloudy and only a few amber from what I see. Still new to it so no tellin! Day 68: No updates. Day 69: Girls still looking good. My bud is still drying and looking super hideous. I feel it is drying slow enough but sure doesn't look or feel dense as it did when cut. Will know in several days to come when fully dry. Day 70: Girls smell dank and look the same! No new updates at this time.

26.12.24: These are my 2 best plants P1 and P2 Purple Punch, they are looking great! Not sure what happened to P3. They are in early flower/ pre-flower with the pistils clearly seen on P2. I am also hoping to tie some of the branches down to help light penetration on the lower canopies. I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. 2 weeks to flower in main tent. Red Hot May have had a little nute burn. Lighting is at 628 on Par meter. 78deg avg. Malt was accidentally super cropped. Healing from splitting her branch. Oozecake aka Judy is my prize now. She fought through some mold 1st week. Transplanted her with only 1 node. Then her 2nd transplant to 1 gallon she was stunted for a week.

D14 - The new #1 is looking way better than her predecessor, although she still has her seed helmet on. I've tried oh so carefully to remove it but no luck so far, and I'm afraid of using excessive force, so for now, it stays on. #2 is just trucking along, doing her thing. She is now 11 cm tall and 10 cm wide. I also removed her support as she is strong enough without it. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - Today, #1 popped out of her seed. Well, mostly as it is still stuck on one of the cotyledons. It's been over two weeks without proper watering, so the girls are getting a bit thirsty. The blumat digitals show around 115-120 mbar. I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - Not much to report as the girls are simply doing their thing. Yesterday, I gave each around 2 liters of the compost tea I started a couple of days ago. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. D20 - The last day in week two of veg. Nothing to report, really. The girls are getting bigger day by day, and both are looking healthy and well. The second girl already has purple leaf stems which I don't think is stress since she looks lush and vibrant otherwise. I guess it is her genes as this strain can turn purple. I have never grown any purple cannabis, so my fingers are crossed!
