Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Apple fritter got sticky this week , buds are putting on nice weight. She’s a real set and forget type strain this , keep up the defol , feed her up and the class of the strain does the rest . Getting to the interesting part now she really looks like she’s about to shine

Everyone got transplanted yesterday! They've been hardening off outside for almost a week. The got some Fish Emulsion a couple days ago. One night it got down to 38F, even though the weather said it would only get down to 50F! So I'm very grateful that they're so resilient. They're not showing much transplant stress so that's good. I watered in some lime when i transplanted. I put them in with my tomatoes that I need to stake. I started putting down seaweed mulch which hopefully I will finish tomorrow. Overall a good week and it feels good to have them in the ground!

What else can I say. The transplanting resolved all of our issues. I was worried about her not making it as it was week 1 in flower. It couldn’t have been a worst time to do this. The new pot didn’t allow me to keep her held down so I had to improvise with some tie downs and duct tape. She is popping new bud sites everyday and she’s really thriving. I won’t go back to that smaller pot with a photoperiod. This strain is a breeze to cultivate. She’s really forgiving and isn’t too picky once she needs what she wants. I bumped up her feeding accordingly as well as gave her some molasses and a nice amendment feeding. Don’t tell my kids, but this closet freak gets more attention from me. 😂😂 J/K Have a good week you crazy cultivars.

Jack Herer nugs have swelled up nicely, critical purple and brain cake have a nice terpene profile and are getting some purple colors. Amnesia lemon putting out a pungent lemon smell, will be great for extracts with amazing flavor. Also looking like it’ll go an extra week before getting harvested with the others in 3 weeks.

Decided to bring the ladies outdoors to finish them off. I have a small 5x5 pop-up greenhouse that will keep them safe from the extreme weather. The nights are finally warm enough and we have some great sunshine coming in the next week. There are only about 4 weeks left for them so there should be lots of light for them to finish and produce, even in northern Ontario. They have started to flower and have really enjoyed being outdoors. We have had some very cloudy and rainy days for the past week, perfect weather to get them hardened off to the Sun. I’ve been watering every 4 days or so, keeping the PPM average for now until I see they are getting hungrier/thirstier. Can’t wait for the good part! Happy growing 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

10/07/2020 Going to be rooting up a clone this week. 10/10/2020 3 days in and she is perking up some. Fingers crossed for quick rooting! Lights are on 24 hours 3 way switch on low 12 hours, and high for 12 hours. I will veg on 18 hours for 2 weeks once roots appear, and 2 weeks on 16 hours. On week 5 hope to switch to flower schedule of 11 hours of light and 13 dark. I want to see her tropical side! 10/16/2020 If it has been 19 days since cut taken, she looks pretty good, this week I am starting Grow, Micro, Bloom at seedling and cutting strength. Should see root development soon. And then move to 12 liter DWC bucket. And then we will start the clock on veg! (These past 19 days are rooting time)

Started the flush for these 2 now! They’re frosting over with so much trichromes and smells quite like citrus haze and sherbet on Aroma! Very interested to see how these buds fatten up! Stay tuned. Hopefully get some decent fades

Day 56 from seed(16flowering) Smoothie by name smoothie by nature !. She has been so easy to work with and train to this point and her smell is very sweet up close. #1 The Los girl is huge. she has sites throughout her structure that are developing nicely together. I expect she would have been a very big plant without the lst and would have outgrew my room very quickly. Buds are slowly developing and I expect she has at least another 3-4 weeks before harvest. #2 coco and mc have been keeping her happy. despite the poorly appearance of her mottled damage and some.dying lower leaf from before , she is growing well. her structure is natural and no ties or last at all so she is taller than her sisters. lots of sites on her so let's see what she does. #3 is one of the smaller girls in the grow and now moved into the middle to bathe her in more light. she has sites poking out of her low canopy so should still be a decent yield. 8/31 Week 7 and the damned tent is full .... such problems err? 25 sq ft of green, did not expect this really was hoping the extra space would allow more plants but this is full on 5 Plants doing well just trying to make em all fit Nuets remain as is Defoliation to try and get they to fit in the tent a bit easier, removed fan leaves. 9/1 Upped PK to 2ml/g the cotton balls have begun 9/2 In full stretch now hit 25" 9/4 Major defoliation cleaned bottoms middle tops get the buds in light and help them fit in the tent better. Still hitting about 1 inch-ish a day nut seem to be slowing No further training planned for Pea

Bounced back really well from second topping and defoliation, letting her take off for a bit before final top. It's a sturdy, albeit short plant that's pushing through some pretty intense training!

She has a delicious candy/sweet perfume! Bud structure is really nice, tight nodes and dense buds, I love this {unknown} strain! 😍

Week 8 start tomorrow and the super fast papaya frosting is down wow what a plant! Cannot wait for the cure heavy tropical pineapple/papaya/lime notes almost like fruit salad chewits. Coated in trichomes expecting roughly 3-4 oz from her she was the smallest in mass of the 4 though she must be sitting very high on THC & terps. Another week for the zkittlez probs another 2 for the frozen biscotti 🔥🔥🔥
