🌱 Day 43 - Beginning of the Third Flowering Week 🌱 Hello grow friends! 🌿 Today marks the start of the third week of the flowering phase. This week, I’m trying to adjust my nutrients a bit. I plan to slightly increase BioBizz Grow, as well as BioBizz Bloom, according to the feeding schedule. 🌱💧 I’m continuing to prune and thin out the plants a little each day, aiming to keep them stress-free. ✂️😊 The terpenes and buds are developing wonderfully so far, but I’m still struggling with very high humidity levels. 🌡️💦 Since my grow setup is on the second floor and we’re currently experiencing humid temperatures here in Germany, it’s been a challenge. I’m trying to reduce the humidity from 62% down to 50% during the day, but it’s proving difficult. 🌬️📉 I’ll keep you updated on how things progress! 🌿✨ 🌱 Day 47 - Everything is Going Well 🌱 Watering and Nutrients Today, I watered and fed the plant again. 🌿💧 Each plant received 1 liter, which is about 10% of the pot's volume. The plant is responding well to the nutrients, and growth is steady. Defoliation and Light Exposure I’ve done some light defoliation to ensure that every part of the plant gets proper light exposure. ✂️💡 My goal is to avoid any shadowed areas, allowing the buds to develop fully. Temperature Management The temperature is still quite high, reaching 27-28°C during the day. 🌡️🔥 I’m finding it difficult to bring it down, but the plant seems to be handling it well. To maintain a healthy environment, I keep both the fan and the exhaust system running on the highest setting, ensuring good air circulation. 🌬️🔄 Humidity Control Currently, the humidity is sitting at around 45-50%. 💧 It’s not perfect, but I’m monitoring the plant closely and making adjustments as needed. Careful Defoliation I continue to remove one or two leaves each day to minimize stress on the plant. 🍃🌿 This slow, careful defoliation ensures that the plant stays healthy while making sure all buds have access to light. Guard Dogs on Duty My dogs took a peek into the grow tent today and are now keeping a watchful eye over the plant. 🐕🌱 They’re doing a great job of “guarding” it! 🐾 I hope you enjoyed this update! Last week I think. All cloudy trichomes and more ambers everytime I check. Leaves are yellowing themselves they've faded a lot in the last few days. The main stem split from 2 top branches so I taped it up. Dropped the terra bloom and gave just dragon force and sumo boost last feed. Going to start flushing this week and see if I can go a week at least. May have left it a little late. Smell of blackcurrant is amazing, got a really strong almost sickly smell to it aswell though, not the most pleasant hahaa mext update will be harvest thanks for sticking through on this one ✌️🏻

Good week of growth. Fed twice throughout the week. Couple signs of insects but hoping it's just the few fruit flies I have in the vicinity. Also continued with LST, both plants seem to like it. Growth on Alaskan purple is slow due to the shitty Amazon light overjead I believe. Seemango has a mars hydro ts1000 overtop.

The pictures speaking for themselves...added some plants that would go to seed after being cross bred with Khalifa Kush. This week onward the girls would be fed black strap molasses for taste and big bud.

This girl is growing so healthy and lovely. I am just loving her every day so far no complaints. I may have to change the pot size soon.

Ok so initiated flushing after using the finisher for around 5 days it's getting exciting now she's smelling just as sweet and cheesy as it did a few weeks ago. Can't wait to smoke her! Might doing her again next time as she did so well

Holy cow these ladies are going off. watch the time-lapse the end of week 3 and the stretch begins. the dark devils are showing the auto gene well they are stretching as well but not like the red poisons wow. going to le the dark devils dry out a little i think that strain does not like to much water. the red poisons are drinking like crazy. so already starting to flower at the end of week three. going to hold off on any flowering supplements for now to see if they are still eating the food that's in the mix still. cruising along see Ya next week.

Left tent is a week ahead. Fair amount of stretching this week. This time I’m paying close attention to keep flower sites high up. My experiment with bottom lighting did not went so great. I had a record yield but the quality was really bad in about 30-35% of flowers. Weak density. I’m definitely going to try again from the beginning but not this time. I have to pay attention to not let any plant get to big of a dryback in veg. It really influences the later stretching and make the plant too compact in sensitive cultivars.

With this strain I vegged for 5 weeks and flowered for just over 10 weeks. The plants produced some impressive size buds with minimal popcorn bud. The buds are coated in trichomes which produce a sweaty-like resin which I haven’t seen before. Man this plant is LOUD - I loved it.

The good vegging progress is noticable as my plants no more producing buds or crystals They are now GROWINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

11/17 started the flush until harvest. Plain tap well water, ph of well water is 7.3- 7.6 Pistols are orange and shrinking. Sugar leaves have a beautiful red on the edges and almost a red hue to the buds. It's a large yield plant for sure, large dense buds. Lives up to the name pound cake!

Well the end has come to this beautiful strain What can I say it was fun to grow even considering the early problems I had with the yellowing it turned out amazing The smell and taste are out of this world. Tastes very citrucy and sweet. With a super heavy high. Looking forward to curing this one. Onto the next and big up the followers

Week 5 – Balanced Bloom & Nutrient Adjustment (16 Oct – 23 Oct) Budshot Betty keeps pushing forward in mid-bloom. The canopy is full and even, and the buds are starting to bulk up nicely. I kept the light at 100W / 32cm, which gives her great intensity without any stress signs. At the start of the week she received plain water (2.7 L) to reset the medium a bit and let the roots breathe. After that, I returned to her regular feeding but slightly modified the mix because I noticed a few small rust spots on some leaves. Since I can’t check pH directly, I decided to lower the nutrient strength by about 25% from the manufacturer’s chart. Current feed (2.7 L water): • Iguana Juice Bloom – 3 ml/L • Ancient Earth OG Organics – 2 ml/L • Big Bud OG Organics – 1.5 ml/L • CalMag (BioBizz) – 1 ml/L She looks healthy and vibrant again — the rust hasn’t spread, and the leaves stay strong and green. The buds are swelling, pistils multiplying, and the smell is getting more intense every day. Overall, a calm and balanced week focused on stability and prevention rather than pushing too hard.

She grew 9cm this week. Doing her thing, no input from me other than watering/nutrients.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

♡ December 7/2020 ♡ Flipped to flower 12/12 yesterday, so they had their first full day and are soooo happy. This has been a weird week for them, I really have to keep an eye on them because they get so fkn thirsty. ♡ I fed 6ml M/G/B on Thursday and molasses, then by Saturday they were dry and droopy, so kicked it to 8ml M/G/B , 4L total water for the 3 girls. ♡ I'm trying really hard to stick to this schedule and hope that my results will be worth it. ♡ Anyways, that's all from me! Going well. Think I may flip in the next week. Don't want the plants to become too unmanageable for my first crop. Really enjoying the learning process. Thinking a t-break starting soon would make it easier to enjoy the harvest. Looking at getting some bubble hash processing equipment and a rosin press, my prefered consumption method from right at home. At this size what would an experienced grower expect in terms of yield? The strains seem hearty.
