Hi growmies! This is week no. 5 for the RQS Apple Fritter Automatic and it's doing really well. Last week she grew more than 20cm, which probably asked a lot of nutrition and led to some deficiencies. Luckily I always have some Bio Tabs Compost Tea to top up the nutrients. In addition, because the leafs were turning yellow, I added some Biobizz Cal Mag to the mix. This was exactly what she needed as now the leafs are no longer hanging, and the color has turned to a slightly darker green. I don't see any changes in the soil structure since I started with the Yuccah nutrition. Then again, it's also not having a negative effect so let's just stick with it (10ml per week) and see if it does something in the long run. Sometimes it slips my mind that soil always acts as a buffer so any changes in nutrition take some time before the effects are visible.

Week 3 is done and this girl had an interesting week. I noticed her yellowing tips on day 17 but only on the older growth? I'm stumped, surely it isn't the light intensity, still only at 450ish umols. The pot is always weighty, could it be an over water? Her sisters don't seem phased at all. As for environment, today I've turned the ventilation fan on 24hrs with no breaks. I started getting paranoid that hour on hour off is not doing them any favors and I'm just gonna have to suck it up and bare the brunt of the power bill. This will also drastically reduce the RH, which I'm not totally sure of the effects it will have on the girls. Low RH has got to be better than RH too high, right? 🤷‍♂️

Pronto pasaremos a la floración, todo va a pedir de boca 10/10. Empezamos alimentar también la genética Los parámetros son correctos, aun que la humedad está un pelón por debajo de lo que me gustaría 55%.

Moved the SCROG net up a bit as I'm running out of bending space and the plant growth seems to have slowed down. Removed more leafs under canopy. Pulled the light up a bit. Increased the watering a bit as the soil is starting to dry up almost daily. So far so good with the overall plant health, let's see in the coming weeks what issues start to pop up :D I removed the fly traps because they were starting to touch the plants but I will likely have to add another one in some better position.

It became clear to me when I opened the tent two days ago. There they were, sticking out one of the main cola’s, it was almost impossible to miss them: 2 bright lime green banana’s. It was like the little dicks were smiling to me. I immediately removed them and search all the plants thoroughly multiple times for more, but didn’t found one. So, I guess I’m now a member of the ‘hermies club’. As for the cause: I suspect light stress. The light was close on the canopy, a little closer than (for example) dr. Cocoforcannabis recommends for this light. I found the two banana’s on Jannine and the bud that had them, is the one that’s almost in the middle of the tent, where the light is the brightest. The plant on the left, Kim, was also showing some foxtailing on her highest buds. Hence, I raised the lights 6-7 centimeters. Hopefully, I took away the cause of the hermies; off course, I’m keeping a sharp eye on the buds, but I haven’t found any more than those two. Also, EC of the drain tends to go up, hence every few days, I now just give them plain pH’ed water, to prevent high EC spikes. The trichomes are developing nicely. I bought a jeweler's loupe to study them, because with my USB microscope it’s almost impossible to get a clear picture (I don’t have a steady hand). The girls are 7 weeks into flower: there are no amber trichomes, but most trichomes are partly cloudy (30~50%) and a minority is still fully clear. I guess two more weeks before harvest, maybe 1,5 week. I switch to GHE Ripen later this week. I didn’t use such a product during my first grow, so I’m curious to see if it does something good. A última hora de la tarde (cuando ya no había sol directo) les apliqué H2O en spray foliarmente para refrescar los estomas Hoy parece que vuelven las temperaturas estándar para esta época del año: 29 - 30 ºC en las horas centrales del día Riego con 1 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 46 (17/07) Pequeños ajustes de LST Hay algunas ramas inferiores que no se han formado / estirado mucho Lo más probable es que haga una buena limpieza este domingo, 7 días después del trasplante, para dejar solo los brotes por encima del 4º nudo Día 47 (18/07) Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Este domingo (día 50) haré limpieza de partes bajas y tal vez también de nuevo topping en las 4-6 ramas principales 😁 Día 48 (19/07) Día de muchísimo calor con 37 ºC. Day 50 things are chugging along nicely, buds and tricomes are stacking up, run off is continuing to come out 6.3-6.5, dropped 1 gram of nutrient powder but tips are still bunning will drop 1 more gram, box recommends 5 gram per 5 liter I'm mixing at 5 gram per 9 liters so will drop to 4 gram, kush n cheese are further along so guessing they will finish first

July 7 start of week 9 first week of transition to flowering. July 8th I sprayed some (FSW) fermented sea water with (FPJ) fermented plant juice and (LABS)lactic acid bacteria as a foliage spray. Sprayed 2 hours before the lights came on. July 9th the girls loved the spray I made for them on the 8th July 12th I sprayed with WS-CAPO water soluble calcium potassium Foliage spray.

Everything went good again this week, girls Finally stopped stretching I think! Lol I pulled back all the shouts that ran for the light, now they are either pulled back enough to the side or tied down some to make it more even in the middle for the light and to keep the taller branches from burning as I cant go any higher with my light. These girls really exploded in size compared to my test Banana Bomb I started flowering 2 weeks earlier in a small tent under 2x180w LED lights to see how she stretched to judge for this big tent. Led kept her tight and small, these girls are 4 feet tall in some places! Getting some good bud site development though all over the place. Seems we have 3 of the same phenotype that are tall lanky and 1 different phenotype that is staying short and compact under exact same conditions. I also did a complete water change this week and we are keeping the EC around 1.3 as they are showing a bit of excess nutrients I believe, gonna keep her on the lower side to be safe and wait for her to tell me when she hungry for more. All and all it was a good week, no major problems and buds are starting to ramp up there size and development. That’s it till next week. Cheers! 💨

Insane stretch this week.. that single super cropping pinch and lay over a few weeks ago has really paid off. It went from about 6 or 8 inches to almost 20 in two weeks. Looks like I'll be needing to support these side branches toward the end.

She Is A Slow Grower....

August 15th water August 16th nothing August 17th the weather is better so im not sure if i want to leave this plant on the balcony or if i will put her on the roof again, but at the moment in the 15 liter pot shes getting bigger and bigger, so maybe i will just finish this one on the balcony and accommodate the roof better August 18th first 'hairs' appeared 😁 we also watered August 19th nothing August 20th nothing: but it seems that the plant likes the guanokalong nutrients, no signs of deficiency or overfeeding!
