Have had some challenges this week. In my lack of experience, I have struggle to discern whether my plant is deficient in nutrients, suffering lockout or approaching harvest. Symptoms were yellowing leaves... The cause of which can be, of course, many different things. I decided to flush last week, thinking that a nutrient lockout was most likely. Leaves less yellow this week so think it may have done the trick. I have spent some time researching and considering flushing as a technique to improve final bud quality. I have decided that there simply isn't enough evidence to deny my girl of nutrients at a critical phase of her growth. I am therefore continuing a reduced feeding schedule of - 1mls topmax - 2mls BioBloom - 1 scoop biosys ecothrive - 2.5mls Cannazym. And, unless indicated otherwise, will continue with this schedule up until harvest. Today I have tested PPM of the run off and measure it to be approx 1050ppm. I will measure again in 24 hours to monitor change after a feed. Purchased a 60x microscope and am able to see that 90% of trichomes are still clear. I am therefore anticipating at least another couple of weeks before harvest. Buds look fluffier than I'd like, but resin and trichome production haven't disappointed. I'm hoping that over the next few weeks the buds will continue to fatten. 19/11/2021 - Day 79. Have a few days off so have managed to catch some photos in day light. Have also uploaded a video. Feel that she isn't particularly happy... But on the other hand, she is showing the resistance and ability to adapt to less than ideal growing conditions; as promised by the strain genetics. Plenty of trichs, plenty of resin, plenty of buds. Just need them to fatten and fill out for maximum yield and quality. 23/11/21 - Day 83 - Still some deficiencies but she doesn't seem to be using much water so reluctant to feed at risk of overwatering. Noticing lots of new pistil formation. Looking frosty, but all trichomes still clear. Temperatures dropping to around 2°c overnight here. Managing to maintain temperatures around 10°c in the shed. Appreciate that this is too cold for growth but she seems to be coping with it well. I think that a gradual reduction in temperature has been tolerated better than fluctuant or sudden drops would be. Fingers crossed that her hardy nature keeps her strong. Fed today: 1mls BioBloom 2mls Topmax Half scoop Biosys Ecothrive Filtered water - pH 6.5, TDS 320 Run off 953 TDS 29/11/21 - Day 90 - no sign of any amber yet. Still mostly clear with a splattering of cloudy. Really worrying about the night time temps now and holding out hope that it doesn't die off before the trichomes mature.

With this thick headbud, there is a risk of getting wet and bad weather and we dont want any budrod so we cut the headbud after 66 days from seed to harvest we took away some fan leafs and hung it up to dry. the lower buds may need a few more days. Its really unbelieveble how much resin she produces. smoking report is following

Watermelon auto was doing great till today. I believe I got mite symptoms on a leaf. So I am giving her a neem oil treatment. Her leaves will likely be messed up next week from this. She’s growing and stretching every day.. bud sites are starting I take shape.. look overall very healthy. I’m blown away by this Bruce Banner, it is about 10 to 14 days younger than the Durban’s I’m growing in the same tent yet the banner is taller and bigger. Week 3 flower major defoliation coming up within the next week.

Day 43 does some bottom leaves trimming. Day 46. Watering with 2.5L nutrients mix.

Que hay de nuevo familia, os traigo la actualización de la semana de nuestras crazy cookies, increíble el tamaño que están alcanzando los centrales, hay que tener bastante cuidado con los nutrientes, si te pasas un poco te lo harán saber. Tienen un olor bastante peculiar, estas últimas semanas desarrollará todos sus terpenos. Ph seguimos controlándolo alrededor de 6.5 temperatura algo elevará y humedad perfecta por debajo de los 40%. No creo que tarden mucho en estar siguen engordando y formando esas flores, la semana que viene veremos cómo avanzan fumetillas.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la quinta semana de vida de estas Lemon Mandarín de FastBuds. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. Todavía estamos en el ciclo 16 horas luz, 8 oscuridad, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también, el color es verde sano. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta hacen sus funciones. Days 78-84 - Been lax in updates, but I still log every week to completion. Back injury in addition to The Nineteen, Rona Style, has been a bit of a pain in the posterior. (That means ass) Plants are gigantic and sassy. Had Dangergirl come out and defoliate/lollipop the bottoms out of the girls, saving me painful labor and increasing my yields, so yay for her! Plants are happy, pompoms are getting thick, and everything looks good. Switched FF01 to flower on day 84.

The tent smells so great each morning when I open it, this is my favorite phase of growing. I love watching them develop and thicken up days after day. Hello everyone ✊ 9th week has started, plant is doing very very well, I really like her shape and looks. She got first trichomes this week, some pistils also started getting brown, but I think she will need more time then 12 weeks to finish the life cycle. Transplanted today added another blue CFL 250w +:125w temps gone up nicely.... Looks like it was needed! After a week I will switch to the gavita dual end once these are settled haven't got tent up they seem to be fine so far but they are touching each other

This strain had to suffer a little bit at the end of the cycle due to a fungus gnats issue but she managed great, her buds are really citrussy and dense and she has grown at a very fast pace in her vegetative stage. I really hope you guys enjoyed, this lady has been grown with kush FLO (Living soil blend) and water.

Day 70: Brain Cake seemed thirsty and wanting more nutrients: Topped off water yesterday, added +3ml of hyro A&B and +1ml of power roots & pure enzyme. EC went from 0.8 -> 1.0 Day 71: Brain Cake is showing symptoms, many top leaves have deformed tips and light interveinal chlorosis starting on opposite end of the tip and dark interveinal chlorosis at the end of the tip. EC is 0.8-0.9 (not very accurate meter :/ ) Not sure whether this is a nutrient deficiency or excess/lockout. The ph has been between 5.6 and 6.5 most of the time the past week, the reservoir change was 4-5 days ago. Plagron indicates to give more hydo A&B in proportion to their roots and enzyme nutrients in the first weeks of flowering (during veg these are given in proportion), so maybe these new problems are due to the different balance of nutrients that I may have times wrongly. Finally the problems may be due to the water reservoirs holding approx 12 liters in practice and the Brain Cake drinks approx 2-3.5L a day so maybe the water res is very unstable but after a day the PH usually remains in range and the EC usually drops a bit the first day after adding nutrients and stays pretty stable the rest of the week. Any suggestions are more than welcome! Day 72: Yesterday evening made an upgraded reservoir for the Brain Cake dwc (as we suspect the leaf problems may be due to instable water because of small res and roots nearly completely filling the res). Now the Brain Cake is in a 60L box with approx 32L of water, EC set to 1.0 and ph 5.7-6.5. She seems to be happy, nice and perky this morning. FYI the roots seem more orange in the video! They are on the white side though, just a bit of stain from the nutrients but looking very good overall.

DAY 37 FLOWERING!!. ( i screwed up my counting !!. flowering began 12th july. ) This lady continues to impress me. with 3-4 weeks left on her she has some serious potential for fat buds. I have found sone bud rot due to high rh , killed me to lop it off but had to be done. Working with 2 extraction fans now for air. She smells beautiful and is very very sticky now.

Der PH wert von meiner Abfluss flüssigkeit lag bei unter 5.0 und der EC wert war üder 3.6 Nach 3-4 litern wasser PH 7,5 und Canna flush liegt der PH wert bei 5,5 und es sind noch 400ppm im abfliessenden Wasser. Nach 6 litern wasser Ph 7,5 Hat das abfliessende Wasser einen Ph wert von 6 und noch 250ppm

I really enjoyed this strain and I’m very glad I was able to see it through until the end. I wanted to harvest 9 days ago or so, but got advice from a lot of fellow growers who told me to remain patient and ignore all wishful thinking. The average time from seed to harvest for this plant is 70-80 days, I managed to harvest on day 87. The smell is loud and she looks beautiful. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to get these genetics again in the future. Completely satisfied with using this strain as an introduction into growing.
