Hi everyone 🤗 This week the two Kosher Tangie Kush were harvested by Amsterdam Genetics 😍. extremely good phenotypes. The blue cheese pheno 2 and 3 were placed in the darkroom according to the video. These were harvested yesterday, from which the pictures will come in the next update :-). All others need 2-3 weeks. I wish you lots of fun with the diary, stay healthy 🙏🏻 and let it grow 🌱

Soo this week has been “fine” . Humidity is under control finally , the humidifiers seemingly have gotten the environment in check . I noticed “it works more efficiently” if I leave a small amount of water in the reservoir as opposed to how long it takes humidity to drop after watering with the reservoir bone dry after emptying . I see that the top dress food still isn’t reaching the girls yet there’s more progressive lower leaf yellowing . I thought it’s take no more than a week for the waterings to render the amendments effective. Seeing this I’ll surely give the girls their pre flowering feed much sooner . I’m planning for 4 weeks so that by week 6(WISHFUL THINKING) the food will be accessible to the girls . Vertical growth this week has been decent , I was worrying quietly on the inside that I’d end up with nuggets on the lateral branches I’ve worked so hard to grow & constantly train. I want to see 12 in long dense solid resinous continuous colas on these girls . Anyways I think that’s it, another week on the GreeneScene in the books 📚.

I am getting worried about it being too crowded in the tent. I decided that a good defoliation was needed but I was only able to get about 2 of them done. It's a time consuming process so I'll have to do each plant when I can throughout this coming week. I want to focus on taking out the little branches that won't yield much and remove big leaves to promote better air flow and light penetration. This also helps them to put more energy into bud production.

Marry me gelato 🍧 is what I’d be saying if weed was a person lol na just to be real the flavors are going to be crazy on this one! It formed buds early and they have only got bigger and turned into Little Rock’s literally so hard and dense so when they swell during flush I got an idea of what I’m expecting! I have no complaints just have to wait a week before I start the flush and I’ll use flawless finish in the first feed and water after and through out until ready! I literally have zero complaints or deficiencies! Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. She grew well for the little time I spent with her. She grew fast as upping my room temps a few degrees sped the process up. She has a good smell and I will be back to update on a smoke report in a few months once it is dried, cured, and trimmed. Report on flowering week 6: --------------------------- Buds become bigger and fatter with each day. With more and larger buds growing, more and more trichmes are produced so the scent is much more noticeable. Each pant is releasing its very own distinct scent. Lovely really! I'm drooling when just looking at these beauties.

The plants have officially started flowering and are looking strong and healthy! 🌸 Unfortunately, I ran into a nutrient lockout in the soil, so I flushed each pot with about 20L of pH-adjusted tap water. This brought the runoff PPM down from around 2000 to about 900. For this next watering, I’ll be giving only plain water and checking the runoff again. Based on the readings, I’ll decide whether to resume nutrients on the following watering—and if so, whether to start with a half dose or go back to a full dose. So far, the plants seem to be handling everything perfectly, and I’m excited to see how they develop through bloom. 🌱💪

I'm gonna jump right in..👨‍🌾 The high stress technique I have used a couple days ago called super cropping, I (tried more or less) to keep the canopy under control and more even. This also allow lower bud sites to rise to the top and slow down the 'stretching'. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌞🌞🌞🌞 The trade in doing it at this stage, is that the plant is also focusing more on healing the stems instead of total focus on the buds. But I'm probably early enough in the flower stage they will make it up by having more strong stems in the end. That's because the points they are broken now are gonna heal back more strong.💪💪💪 I've added some nutrients to help them heal. Aptus is working great with my organic soil👍😎💚 🌊💦 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 As you maybe have seen I've added some extra lights. This are Mars Hydro's new Adlite's. Here is some info about them in my own words.👨‍🌾 -IR 15, is a infrared light that is promoting extra photosynthesis. Basically long wave length of lights that will penetrate leaves and hit the stems, so the idea is stems will be more strong and be able to carry bigger buds. -UV 30, is a ultraviolet light that will try to mimic the radiation that comes of the sun. A little explanation about what this does to the plant in nature is that the plant will make it's own sunblock oil in the form of trichomes. So by adding this light the idea is that the plant is gonna work more to block this 'radiation'. -Deep Red 30, is like the title maybe already explained a red light booster. In nature the spectrum of the sun changes with the season, so it's easy to explain the sun will get more intense and contains more red in the summer. The wavelength of red is also pretty long like the 'infrared' these will sometimes penetrate leaves and hit stems and lower buds. The idea is more photosynthesis.
