Flower are still thickening up with each passing day. Trichomes are starting to look more and more milky, but there are still a considerable amount of clear trichomes. The densest trichome coverage I’ve seen on a plant in person. Ever cola had filled up nicely and it gives off the scent of grape candy and rubber. Some minor N and cal def symptoms here and there, but I’m feeding heavy, flushing, and giving microbes regularly so I’m not concerned at all. Overall the plant is very healthy. Feed pH 6.6, EC TBD.

DAY 6 WEEK 2 - FLOWER Hello fellow growers, I'm thrilled to report that my current grow is progressing smoothly as I enter Week 2 Day 6. The plant is showing promising signs of healthy growth with no apparent deficiencies detected thus far. However, I've encountered some peculiar symptoms with the leaves; it seems like there's some tissue tearing or ripping occurring. Despite thorough inspections, I'm confident in stating that pests are not the culprit, as I haven't observed any other signs they typically leave behind. It's a bit perplexing, but I'm keeping a close eye on it. One aspect I've been experimenting with in this grow is the use of an ExHale CO2 bag. While I had hoped for a noticeable increase in CO2 levels, I haven't seen a significant improvement. After careful consideration, I suspect that the lack of a sealed environment is hindering its effectiveness. Humidity issues prevent me from sealing the environment completely, which likely results in the CO2 being dispersed rapidly. For now, I've decided to forgo using the CO2 bags, but I'm open to revisiting them in the future if I can establish a sealed environment. Looking ahead to the start of Week 3 of the flowering stage, I plan to introduce PK boost additives to enhance potassium intake. This strategic addition aims to support robust flower development and overall yield. Despite the minor setbacks, I remain absolutely thrilled with the progress of this run. With approximately five more weeks to go, I'm eagerly anticipating the taste and aroma of the final product. I appreciate all the support and encouragement from fellow growers. Day 53 flower , decided to cut her down , with better light there was more Amber than I first thought . 38 hours dark before harvest . Much bigger and fuller buds than expected when cut down . Lots of trycs 3/4 really big colas and a real lemon smell , lots of dark purple in the bigger buds . Over all very pleased with harvest . I’ll update yield in a few weeks

This week I just LST and Defoliation again. They so pretty ! And One of them is flowering. I think she must be stressed when changing the pots.

10 weeks / 70 days old today. Buds are all a bit fatter and a bit frostier this week! They glisten in the light and and are well and truly coated. Noticed a few leaves with brown spots this week and after reading up I decided it could be a calcium deficiency. Gave a cal mag feed and monitored and no more brown spots have appeared. We’re pretty close to the finish line now so not sure I’ve done the right thing or whether I should just let it be. Few more old leaves at the bottom started to yellow so chopped them. Some trichomes are starting to turn milky but majority are still clear. Haven’t bothered with a picture because it’s so hard to get a clear one. Still taking up lots of water and giving 3ml of bloom nutrients in every water. Been reading lots about flushing and I’m not sure whether to do it. Read lots that say if it’s cured properly then there isn’t any difference to the taste. I think half the battle is knowing when to do it. How does a beginner know when you’ve got 2 weeks left?! Been tempted to chop off the popcorn buds and so glad I didn’t. I put some bulbs lower down to give them plenty of light and they’re fattening up pretty well. Bit worried again about the space issue. Lots of new pistils have sprouted and most are around the top buds. Read that it could be foxtailing due to light stress but could also just be buds fattening out and having a last try at pollinating 🤷🏻‍♀️ who knows! Overall another exciting week getting closer to the finish. Booked our summer holiday for August and trying to decide whether to start a new grow when these finish. there’s a risk they might not be done in time but I’m desperate to try again and improve on this one. I have well and truly got the grow bug!!

Today is day 36. I had to tie up some branch’s this morning. The colas have been slowly leaning in every direction, and I wanted to get them back standing straight in the light.i will flush her for a few days seems last batch of nutes burned her a little. I also believe there is to much nitrogen in her roots as some leaves have started to yellow up top. This is just my opinion from what I have been reading. I know Leaves will yellow during flowering, but from my understanding it is usually is the lower leaves. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Week 16 (Harvest) 1-2 Drying day 1 Temperature: 24.5 to 19.5 degrees Humidity: 65% to 50% The girls are ready to be harvested! Before chopping them down, i took a lot of pictures. I was able to remove most of the soil from the Biscotti #2 to see the rootball. I hang the plants as a whole to have a slow dry. The exhaust fan is on setting 4. 2-2 Drying day 2 Temperature: 19.1 to 17.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 57% I changed the exhaust fan to setting 2 because setting 4 was a bit high in my opinion. 3-2 Drying day 3 Temperature: 19.9 to 18 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked up on the drying plants, and i see there are some buds touching other buds, so i chopped the plants in half. The buds are still to the main stem for a slow dry, but are hanging more spreaded out to prevent any budrot issues. I changed the exhaust fan to setting 1, as someone told me that it was enough air movement for drying. 4-2 Drying day 4 Temperature: 19.8 to 18.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% 5-2 Drying day 5 Temperature: 19.9 to 18.8 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked on the drying plants and the buds are shrinking a bit, they are getting a little bit crispy on the outside aswell, I hope they wont dry as fast, and i aim for a 12/14 day dry. For the next grow i already germinated 2x Chemdog (GreenHouseSeeds) 2x Gorilla Kush (GanjaFarmerSeeds) and 1x Deep Candy CBD (GreenHouseSeeds) And I have some upgrades planned aswell! I bought a autopot kit with 4 15L pots, this way the plants will have water and air 24/7 whenever they need it. I have seen alot of great results using autopots so i am very exited to try it out! Day 21 flowering: Here we are after the stretch period has slowed down and I am now the proud grower of some great looking sweet seeds buds. All of the girls are producing really good looking, healthy budlets with a couple having some very dark purple to them too. I have spent some time re training them to a more open frame so the light can reachbthe developing lowers better and the airflow can be made more fluent below decks too. G girl#1 has some very nice tops forming up now with node spacing that should bring them to a more joined up affair. her size is good and I think I could have allowed her to grow more height for her canopy. She has a fair few mains going on too. G Girl# #2 8s still way out in front in bud development and her size is on par with #1. She has remained fairly squat in size and again I feel she could have been allowed way more height. Her node spacing is perfect for creating very fat donkey colas now and they are beginning to reach each other on the stems. opening her out and only removing the damages and very big fan leaves has definately been a must do job . she is ripe for bud rot with those chunky buds and so much foliage to trap the warm air too. G Girl#3 remains the stunted sister of the grouping in her 30L pot but I do think thisbis a pheno thing and not just the smaller pot. she has a slightly lighter colour to her leaves too. She has wider node spacing than the others but this could be more about perspective of size too. G Girl#4 is turning into the stars of the show for me. I wanted to try the tie down 5th node method that I have seen done by another grower i share info with. seeing the result and how it allows the lowers to form with very little slow down for recovery as topping does. The lowers have still shot out to become mains rhe same way but her size has kept going. Her node spacing is good and again I expect some nice thick colas to form. I am getting a diesel whiff from close up so far but expect the smells to start anytime now. I am very happy with this strain so far and find it very easy to work with. They seem very happy with their soil and I did add shogun boost and pk warrior to their major feed yesterday too. Sweet Cheese is looking good. I am glad i left her to go natural too and seeing her managable height , I think this is the way to go in future with her strain.
