Welcome to GhostGrow Chapter One by PoshGrow! 🌳 Week #9 6th week of flowering. Humidifier was raplaced with dehumidifier to maintain 50% rH. Still fighting some high temperature problems, it was very hot last week and this one so far in my city and the temperature in my grow room(not tent) is high 30s 32s... So i keep my tent open and ventilated with additional standing fan. All strains look healthy, happy and stacking up some nice weight, except 2 strains, Alaskan #2 and Alaskan #5. Alaskan #2 Looks good but still falls behind in flowering time, also looks abit streesed out and with smaller budsites, dont know what to expect to be honest. Alaskan #5 As mentioned last week got some serious Nitrogen deficiency to fight with. No results at this moment... Alaskan #4 Seems to be fastest strain so far, stacked good buds, hard as rock top ones. Started watering only with pH'ed water for flush before harvest, because it seems to go down first of all this grow run, also I started to check its trichomes with mini digital microscope. 90% are cloudy, other still clear. Gonna wait till 10% amber & 90% cloudy before chopping this girl down. Lemon and Blueberry doing perfect, stacking up well, all trichomes are crystal clear☺️ Watering when needed(2, sometime 3 times a week), every other watering I used Fox Farm Big Bloom, Grow Big & Tiger Bloom. Except with Alaskan #5 watering, its more in experimenting mode with increased Grow Big dosage so wont be covering it here. UPDATE! JUNE 28TH. Uploaded 2 new videos and Alaskan #4 picture. Enjoy!

day 14 added 1/2tbsp magnesium sulfate in 5gal water along with regular flower water amendments. 1gal of water per day average, bridal and thunder can take more water. Ph 6.8 today day 15 I will defoliate in a few days :) day 15 video, you see some stem action day 16 video day 17 I added (4x20w daisy-chained)80w of poop purple ancient leds Keep adding soluble PK, organic booster etc. I see the stacks relax on defoliation for a few days, maybe tomorrow morning (skip day21) I feel like I will be able to chop week 6-7 as my last grow, push hard fast-continue everything is great, soon bridal and thunder will require 1gal water per day. I would like to see even more mass. I'm extremely happy, starting to see frost day18. BIG UPDATE many short vids of final defoliation(ahead of "day 21"). Wild amendments appeared! Any recommendations for a lawnmower? Bridalparty stretched over an inch overnight, led touch diode burn on 1 spot. Raised lights slightly, Added new amendments into water. Bridal wants to drink more than 1gal per day, So I will be using almost 5gal-ish water per day not denying the plant needs-watering. I am very happy! defoliation took about 4h today.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. Yes, Freakshow will do exceedingly well indoors, and will thrive and mature just fine in a wide variety of natural environments as well, so it's definitely both and I think might even prove to be more resilient to those sorts of transitions. Q. What are the potency and terpenoid levels? A. Average 18-20% THCa, THC; negligible CBD, CBN with terps variable, averaging 2.5-3.5, primarily limonene and pinene, but this is variable, there was a lot of diversity in terp combinations and compositions in all the prior generations, it's just something that was left "as is" for now. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? Well, it's seriously "modified" and the modifications are definitely genetic, and it is an organism. (Genuinely Modified Organically!) Uh, no. No radiation, no recombinant DNA, no gene splicing or editing, no TALEN or CRISPR! These biotechnologies don't belong in the food and medicine plant industries. Sadly, in the near future it will become commonplace and widespread in cannabis and other medicinal plants as it is already is with food crops and ornamentals. I'll avoid discussion on this topic for now, but we hope some people enjoy consuming Frankenbud! Q. What's the floral period length? A. 8-9 wks, finishes early Oct. at most latitudes and elevations. Q. Is it a big producer? A. Freakshow will produce nice, fat, dense colas (see gallery) with remarkable trichome coverage, and you can expect yields according to your veg. time, root space, and general knowledge and expertise as a gardener. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. 21/04/2023 Day 65 We are almost there, I can see pistils are quite mature now, maybe less on the top, but that's fine to me. Tomorrow will I will begin the Kleen for 3 days and harvest on Tuesday 25. 23/04/2023 Day 67 Now 100% with Final Clean (TA), EC 0.2 (because it mixes the remaining last nutrient mix from the upper tank 4L against 12L in the lower tank) I've just realized I messed up with the Diary weeks, can't be at Week 11 yet, on day 67. Hand the week showed on Diary cover is even set to 12. Not sure if I could set 10 to this one too. Will try anyway. => no, I can't go back, I would be able to set 12, good when you're late in publishing though..

Flower18, riego con 6.2 pH y EC 2.2, pequeña defoliación. Flower22, riego con 6.5 pH y 3.0 EC. Hoy las plantas me han sorprendido, están creciendo mucho sus flores, se están viendo muy llenas. Me preocupa que por el espacio muy justo, puedan generar hongos, tendré que colocar tutores para separar un poco las ramas y mejorar la ventilación poniendo 1 o 2 ventiladores extra, quizás darle más potencia al extractor también. A parte de eso van súper bien 😁

Prima settimana di questa esperienza idroponica, sembra che nonostante i primi giorni abbia avuto alcuni problemi ad iniziare a sviluppare le radici, ora sembra che tutto stia andando per il meglio e le piccoline hanno iniziato a svilupparsi molto bene, spero che grazie a questo sistema DWC di Mars Hydro sono sicuro che avrò successo, e anche soprattutto ad i nutrienti di qualità di Terra Aquatica che mi hanno già dato risultati fenomenali in terra ma sono sicuro che in idroponica me ne daranno molti di più, spero di continuare la collaborazione con loro e che mi diano altri nutrienti poiché sto iniziando a finire le bottiglie con i loro stupendi prodotti, tutto questo grazie a tutti voi che mi sostenete e mi seguite! Let the flushing begin! Week 8 went well, this girl packed on the last of her weight and density. She's showing a lot more red hairs and she's got a 50/50 mix of clear/cloudy trichomes.

Everything coming along nicely. I’ve discontinued all nutes but will give one more little top dressing to the cheese plant tomorrow then that’s it. Just straight stabilized RO water from here out. The slurricane is just packing on PM like crazy. The cheese has actually stopped the spread for the most part. At harvest I’m going to wash the shit out of the slurricane and cheese with some warm RO water and some h202 to get the majority of it dissolved. Other than that the quality of the slurricane is beyond ridiculous. It’s by far the stickiest strain to the touch in the tent. It’s probably winning for smell too. It’s straight gassy licorice pine. The pm susceptibility is a deal breaking drawback though. The cheese is looking good and smells great. It almost smells like rotten milk. Some of the nugs are really filling out into these nice long chunky little things. The pistils are turning a light orange/pink color too. Unfortunately it’s not maturing at the same rate and will make everything in the tent go for another 1.5-2 weeks. Garlics are looking better. The lanky pheno has filled out quite a bit more than expected and is super frosty with a great smell. It’s finally starting to purple up a bit. I think it will still be quite leafy around harvest but time will tell. Pheno 2 has better structure and density but lacks frost, smell and color. Not very impressed by it honestly. The zkittlez is looking great and getting super frosty. Especially around the crowns of the top colas. Lowers look like shit though. Despite being somewhat leafy, the main branches look quite dense. It’s probably the shortest and bushiest plant in the garden. It’s yellowing out quite a bit now and will probably finish with the blackberries and slurricane. The blackberries look amazing and smell even better. One of the phenos is a crazy producer and creates massive buds with musky berry terps. The other pheno is a beautiful purple strain that produces a crazy amount of frost and chunky golf ball nugs at the expense of large yield. It’s smell is very sweet and candy like and has been a very low feeding and maintenance plant. Slurricane #4 looks great aside from its infection. It definitely wins for resin content and smell but looks like a low yielder.

Well, I nutrient burned her 3 times in a row from 1st time growers mistakes. And she didn't take it too well. She got stunted pretty bad. But I still managed to pull her thru. I did make a huge mistake and used florakleen for 2 days longer then directions say and when harvested buds and stems had a werid wet stickiness and had a werid smell. So I'm pretty sure I ruined them. They are drying now I haven't weighed them and to be honest I am probably not going to smoke it and just throw it away after weighting it. I'm super sensitive to off smells and taste, so I'll pass after smelling during harvest. But I did cut one branch off before adding florakleen, so I will have a bud or 2 to try... I'll check back in after a proper cure of the branch I cut off before running the whole damn plant... smh...

Day 72, well, this week I interrupted the watering cycle because the tips of the leaves were twisted by excess nutrients 😋, four days until today, only with osmotized water 💦💦 and it has returned to normal 👏🏻👏🏻 today the irrigation I will try with nutrients to see how it reacts. Size 82 cm👏🏻👏🏻 temperature 24º C ☀️, humidity 60% 💧 Session 45 min. of binaural sounds for growth and healing 🎼 and music 😉👍

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went pretty good for the Strawberry Banana Auto, I did go out of town for 4 days and my PH got too high in my reservoir so that set me back a couple days or so but the plants still look pretty healthy, I did notice a couple rust colored spots on the lower most leaves of this plant. She is topped and I did a light defolilation yesterday and some LST just to try and keep a level canopy. The tomatoes are looking great as well as enjoying the runoff from the cannabis, got my first flowerson them this week. In the tent I am still running the Spectrum X at 60% power in V1 mode which is the veg mode and it is keeping the plants very green, bushy, and with tight internodal spacing. I will continue LST and slowly make the change to flower nutes as soon as the stretch is about over. Hello, fin de la semaine 8, semaine 2 de la floraison. Les plantes semblent donner les 1er signent de leur passage en floraison, il me semble détecter les tout premiers pistils. Elles semblent être en bonne santé. J’ai progressivement diminué un peu l’humidité à 45/50%. Donc rien de spécial pour cette semaine, ça pousse tranquillement...🖖 Prochaine update la semaine prochaine.. Happy grow...😎

Oct 22 - start of week 4 and things are progressing well but slow. She’s poken out her 4th node now so we’ll be pinchn er soon. Nutrient regimen is aggressive - so far no plain water breaks from feedings and it’s freakn me out a little. She seems to like it though and the drainage on the coco/purlite is crazy good. should be easy enough to rectify any lockout issues if they come up. Thanks again for taking a look and happy growing!👍 Oct 24 update - she’s really come along the past few days and while her stem is still real thin, she’s managed to sneak the entire 4th node past me unnoticed. We FIMMED today. No actual cutting just a modified pinch/crush only technique that leaves all new growth in place. Now we’ll let er recover and see how she turns out. 🤞🤞🤞I’ve been running a nute feed every single watering (every other day) since start and decided it was time for a plain ph’d maintenance rinse. No reason, just preventative to rinse out minerals. Thanks for checkn er out👊. Oct 26 update - 2 days post fim and her pinched node isn’t looking any better. YOU can definitely tell by the photos and new growth that it’s diverted it’s energy to bushing out. Back on the nutes and still lookn good - love the coco. We’ll see what develops - definitely some weird new growth coming up so it appears to have worked👌😎👍! Background This one is gonna be fimmed out and defo’d as a comparative to its manifolded kush sister. They’ll spend a first week or so under a cfl assembly while the last harvest dries out in the cabinet. This is our 2nd grow of an NL strain and this one should be typical of NL in terms of resilience. That said, she’s a former cup winner so we’re hopeful for supreme quality this time around. 👍 Gonna jack up the nute shed. and supplements heavy throughout the grow in the hopes of really testing the limits of my grow space (approx. 2sq/ft).
