🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. OK so update from last week I found out my soil is really off pH it could be 8 or 9 pH but I haven't got a soil meter to be sure. Anyway, obvious massive deficiency in ll kinds of nutrients because their roots can't soak up anything with such alkaline soil. I did think about reporting them and trimming their roots but it's too late in flower for that and I don't have the time. What I have done is I am using PK 13 14, Cal Mag and home made spray from organic waste mixed together as a foliar spray per guidelines. The one in the right is terrible she isn't taking it well at all I've had to remove 90% of her old leaves she looks like a skeleton but on the up side the new growth is green and happy so I'm just taking off the old as it shrivels. The one on the left is a tough mofo and sprung back after 2 foliar sprays (once a week) though I can definitely see a PK deficiency still. I am still hoping the one on the left will make it while the right one might bounce back but I won't get much from her. Anyway guys if you have any tips for what else I could do for my ladies to help it would be much appreciated!

Well I think I got a little burn don’t know what exactly but I think I had my 1000w light to close I get the heat emitting had something to do with it . I adjusted it 40cm from grow

Harvested one last night on 6.17 the other got last watering today. The nugs are real solid I like the purple tint and the smell is strong.These came out much better compared to my last ones.

Looking good and pretty healthy, getting closer to the end. Impressed by how this is going so far.

Hello Diary. Here we are in the seventh week of the cycle, the fourth week of flowering. Sherbet Queen is making great progress, the flowers are filling up, and they already have a strong smell. I really have nothing negative to write, as you can see in the photos, everything is great. I gave her some food this week, I added an Easy Bloom Booster tablet and I added BioBizz on two occasions. I stopped adding CalMg since the plants show no signs of a deficiency of these minerals. I had to connect a few branches with the pipe cleaners, they started to tilt from the weight. The temperature is in line with the summer months, slightly higher than ideal. Humidity is satisfactory, around 50%. Here's what the week looked like. 28/06/2021 - Day 44. Watering. I lowered p.H. at 6.3 and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablet to a total of 8 liters of water. With that amount I watered all three plants that are on the Farm. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 49% humidity. 30/06/2021 - Day 46. Watering. This time I added BioBizz. I added 8 liters of water Alg-a-Mic - 10 ml BioGrow - 15 ml Top Max - 7 ml Bio Bloom - 10 ml I adjusted p.H to 6.4 and with that amount I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 32 degrees and 38% humidity. 02/07/2021 - Day 48. Watering. p.H I adjusted to 6.2 and added Bio Bloom 2ml / lit, Top Max 1 ml / lit and Alg-a-Mic 1.5 ml / lit. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 47% humidity. 03/07/2021 - Day 49. Photography. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 48% humidity. Well, that's all for this week, see you soon.

Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution. Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning. -FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2. -Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives. **Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!** Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works. Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start. So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

June 22nd She's getting ready, we're close, but patience is a virtue before turning final. I'm checking the trichomes carefully, but the majority of them seem clear. We're looking for cloudy before the chop, so there's some maturation to be had yet. Everything still looking green, though the pistils are darkening significantly. The main cola is now cooked to death. I would cut it down and reposition the light for the other flowers, but I don't want to cause stress right at the final hurdle while things are fattening up. Every time I look at this plant I feel a sense of pride, but also a mild regret that yet again I fell short from the flawless grow. This could have been the one if I'd known to top a couple of times to save the height. Redo? Tempting. Depends on the final product but if Biscotti is a nice smoke I'd like to try again, same setup but try the topping method. Anyway, blessings all around, it looks like we'll be getting some very nice weed in the end whatever happens. I'll stress a bit peering through a jewellers loupe at the trichomes trying to convince myself the ratio looks good for a few more days no doubt. Fingers crossed as always

August 28 is officially day 1 for me. Every single one of these popped easily and came out of the soil with zero issues. The seedling stage stresses me out so I’m glad things are already off to a good start. Toking one down for good luck *puff puff pass*.

Outdoor coco 15g pots Progress: Lava cake is about week 6.5. Starting to ripen and get heavy. Buds are getting fat. Strong sweet cookie/ ice cream smell. Buds are getting more frosty. Buds are getting so heavy I installed a net on 3 of 4 and doing #4 soon. On my most mature plant - About 25-30% of pistils have turned color. Some trichomes are milky, none amber. Looks like plants are a few days apart. Marathon OG week 5 1/2. Still stacking and getting fat. Smells dank. Trichomes are showing up. The 20 gallon OG is growing into a monster. I’m still waiting for the heavy bud stacks…. Nutes: Bumping up ppm, the dry koolbloom and molasses, stopping regular koolbloom and grow. Looking to starting flushing the lava cake in a week or so. Feeding 2x a day; 3x on hot days. Weather: Had a good week of cooler temps until yesterday, when it was 97. Looking at hugs in the 80s this week, perfect. Pests: The moths and caterpillars are in full swing so I’m applying BT every morning. I’m working hard to reduce caterpillar 🐛 losses. We lost all of the top colas on a plant in another location 💔 . I’m only losing one bud at a time and not the entire colas so far. Wishing fat buds and monster harvests to all.

Day 141: The plant looks almost ready. I am not sure whether I'll still wait a couple of days or harvest tomorrow. Another week probably wouldn't hurt though. I'm looking forward to it nevertheless. No nutrients at this point, just water.

today was meant to be the day i flip but as my ppms and ph off run off are not correct i am waiting a couple of days to see if i can fix the issue before flipping week 7 - feeding 600-650ppms - PH 5.5 - Run off PPMS drop to 280-300 - PH rises to 7.1PH, in the morning i am going to try and feed with a higher concentrate of nutrient something like 750ppms with a ph of 5.5 and see if my run off ppms come out higher and continue to do so until i get them in a ideal range.. if that does not fix the problem or run off still comes out really low then i think i could have a salt build up in the medium therefore i am going to just flush with plain ph water to reset the medium, but as you can see my plant does not seem to be suffering anything to worry about really she seems happy but it would give me the piece of mind knowing my girl is within correct ppm/ec range for flower flip so i can up the light intensity also! question.? - anyone ever fed 3L-3.3L of water in 70/30 coco perlite to actually get the run off to start coming out the bottom off thats what im feeding every morning is this normal i did read online GG is a thirsty plant, if i was to pour 2L - 2.8L i wouldn't get any run off does this tell me shes thirsty for more LOL Happy Growing!

Well week 3 is here nothing but good growth so far just fed her the remaining quart from the last solution mix and I must say she is loving it. Come Monday I will raise her dose and mix in some grow big. I also started some LST, those bottom tops are receiving so much light penetration now. Once the drying process is done I'll be coming back to update the smoke report. Her terps are off the charts and she looks very resinous to the naked eye. UPDATE 02/02/24 The dry and curing process left with some of the most amazing nugs I ever seen and the most is like none other. A pungent smell of lime, diesel, piney and sweet. Pulled 13G worth of kief which wow I'm impressed by all means.
