Pre-flowering stage, stretching phase. Today exactly 14.41 hours of light. Average week's temperatures 80°F High humidity, some stormy days, hew heat wave is coming. Afghan is a massive plant and is almost ready to flower. Branches are very thick and sticky. Great smell. Starting to defoliate the bottom canopy. No issues, no pests, no need 4 food.

It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. My Skunk Apple plant sounds like it's finally getting on track. After a rough start, it's good to hear things are looking decent. Hopefully, it'll keep looking better and better.

Following the plan, the girls are beautiful and were already quite big during this stretching phase. I hope everything continues as it is now during this growth and weight gain phase. For the rest, just wait for time to pass. 🌱🌿✌️✌️

Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis jour84 arrosage avec 25 centilitres d'eau ph6.3 Jour87 arrosage avec 30 centilitres d'eau ph6.3 Jour88 pratique de la techniques du tronc fendu (videos explicatives) et arrosage avec 20 centilitres d'eau ph6.3 COMMENT FENDRE LES TIGES DE VOTRE PLANT DE CANNABIS Pour fendre les tiges de votre plant de cannabis, il vous faudra : Une lame propre et aiguisée (une lame de cutter fonctionne bien) Un mètre ruban Une ficelle ou un adhésif pour marquer les coupures que vous ferez le long de la tige Un crayon, une baguette ou une brochette pour séparer la tige une fois fendue 1. Tout d'abord, commencez par mesurer la partie de la tige que vous allez fendre. Il faut faire une incision d'environ 10–20 cm juste sous la branche la plus basse de votre plant. Utilisez un ruban adhésif ou de la ficelle pour marquer le début et la fin de l'incision. 2. Ensuite, prenez votre lame et faites une incision en travers de la tige, en commençant par le haut. Attention à faire une coupe propre, jusqu'au centre de la tige. 3. Utilisez votre lame pour tailler en descendant vers le bas, jusqu'à la marque inférieure de la mesure que vous avez prise auparavant. Essayez de tailler aussi droit que possible. Une fois que vous avez atteint votre marque du bas, laissez la lame au centre de la tige, puis utilisez un crayon/baguette/brochette pour ouvrir la partie coupée, puis sortez votre lame. QUEL EST LE MEILLEUR MOMENT POUR FENDRE LES TIGES ? Il existe de nombreuses théories sur le meilleur moment pour passer votre tige au couteau, mais la plupart des cultivateurs suggèrent de le faire à la dernière semaine de floraison. Même si certains cultivateurs recommandent de le faire dans les 3 derniers jours avant la récolte, nous recommandons de le faire un peu plus tôt (7–10 jours avant la récolte). QUELS SONT LES RISQUES À FENDRE LES TIGES ? Fendre les tiges est une technique à stress élevé très agressive que nous ne recommandons qu'aux cultivateurs expérimentés. Nous ne recommandons également pas de fendre les tiges sur les variétés à autofloraison, car cela peut être bien trop intense pour elles. FENDRE LES TIGES, ÇA MARCHE VRAIMENT ? Il existe un solide ensemble de cultivateurs expérimentés qui déclarent que le fait de fendre les tiges peut produire de bons résultats. Malheureusement, peu de données qualitatives le prouvent. Cependant, il semble que la fente des tiges soit originaire des Pays-Bas, où elle est pratiquée par des cultivateurs néerlandais experts depuis les années 1970.

The plant on the left exhibits noticeable black tips, indicating a late-stage deficiency during flowering. It’s significantly larger than the one on the right, which shows less signs of deficiency. As the left plant gains weight, it struggles to support some branches and develops foxtails. The aroma in the tent is delightful, with the left plant emitting a sweet, cake-like scent, while the right one exudes a strong gas-like odour. It’s remarkable how different the plants are despite being the same strain.

The Breakup Cake is into stack mode. The flowers are forming rapidly with real nice spacing. Going to be some big buds forming on this lady. The ladies got their first feed of Massive Bloom Formulation with their floranova bloom and some Floranova grow. Mixture was 400 ppm 0.8 ec of Massive Bloom Formulation 400 ppm 0.8 ec of Floranova bloom and 400 ppm 0.8 ec of Floranova grow . Total of 1200 ppm of feed. A true rocket, stretching nearly twice the size of her sister while still keeping the same elegant leaf formation and bud structure. It’s fascinating to see two very different expressions of the same genetics side by side, a reminder of the beauty of phenotype variation and why selective growing is such an art. ⸻ 🌱 Why Week 3 Flower Matters Week 3 is one of the most critical weeks in flowering. Here’s why: • The plants are finishing their initial stretch and stabilizing in height. • Bud sites are setting in, pistils multiplying, and the true architecture of the flowers begins to show. • Nutrient demand shifts from pure vegetative growth into a more balanced call for energy to support flower production. This is the week where the plant defines her frame for the buds to come, too much stress or poor nutrition here can limit yield and structure later on. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition – Simple & Effective We’re keeping it straightforward, leaning on the Aptus Holland super Soil and organic program: • All-in-One Pellets – mixed in the soil from the start, slowly releasing balanced nutrition. • Regulator – helps with nutrient uptake and strengthens the plant structure. • Top Booster – added gently to encourage early bud development. • CalMag – to support strong cell walls and avoid deficiencies. Still, the girls are holding up beautifully: • Room temp: peaking around 31°C • Humidity: ~60% (a bit higher over the last few days) • Soil temp: ~25°C • PPFD (PAR): • Pheno #2 (compact at ~90 cm): 760–780 μmol/m²/s • Pheno #1 (tall at ~1.95 m): 1,000–1,100 μmol/m²/s, reaching closer to the light This difference in PPFD is a natural result of their height difference — with Pheno #1 stretching closer to the light, she’s getting a more intense dose. It’ll be interesting to see how she handles the higher intensity compared to her more compact sister. 💡 Grower’s Note – Balancing Different Phenos Under One Light It’s common in multi-pheno runs to have plants finishing at different heights. Here are a few ways to manage light distribution and avoid stress or uneven growth: • Raise the fixture slightly to reduce intensity for taller plants. • Dim the light (if possible) to bring PPFD down into the sweet spot, while adding supplemental side or under-canopy lighting to support the shorter pheno. • Low-stress training (LST) or gentle bending/tucking of the tallest colas can help bring the canopy closer to even. • Stools or risers under shorter pots can bring compact phenos closer to the light. Every grow space is unique, so it’s all about finding the right balance to keep both phenos thriving. 420Fastbuds-FBA2509 I'm excited as it's tester time. Germination week is complete. I planted 3 seeds and had all 3 sprout within 48hrs of being in the soil. I do soak them for 48hrs in a glass of water before planting. I can't wait to see what the weeks to come will have in store. Happy Growing

Day 1 has no updates, Temps are optimal now and the girls are thriving in late flower. Lights remain 100% power and I expect the buds to continue to develop and stack on some weight. For a first grow I feel this has been a successful experiment and experience. Day 3 of week 10 Plant A is cut and drying, I chose to cut it because the increase in unexpectedheat almost sent it back into veg. The tricomes were cloudy mainly so I figured it would be best to chop it and not risk it turning hermie. Had really dense buds will update the dried weight.

I did not expect such a size .. and I think I was a little late with switching to flowering .. it could have been earlier .. if I only knew that it grows so fast)) but it’s a sin to complain when your plants are so healthy and big)) I can’t wait for the flowering to start) she’ll just blow up her brain with flowers and beauty!)) I can’t wait! I no longer correct the branches .. now they are on their own, and only grow to the top .. I think to do defoliation after the beginning of flowering .. let's see ..
