I've removed Bio Grow from the mix and added more Bud Candy and Cal-Mag, I hope that plants will like it. ✌️ 21.4. - Watered 💧 23.4. - Seems that plants are okay with the new mix and upped amount of water per plant 😎 Watered 💧 26.4. - Week wrap-up: Plants are thriving, however Jack and Lemon are getting a bit yellow. Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. Other factors include chloroplast number, respiration rate, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as plants are often in a CO2-deficient condition. 60x60x18=64800seconds x 700 = 45,360,000moles. 45DLI Exposure to 165 µW/cm² of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) light for 3600 seconds = 1 hour, a extremely high, acute dose triggering stress responses and protective mechanisms. . The plant's photoreceptor protein, UVR8, senses the UV-B radiation. This triggers a signaling cascade that activates specific genes to protect the plant from damage. In response to the UV-B signal, the plant ramps up the biosynthesis of protective compounds like flavonoids, phenolic acids, and anthocyanins. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.

Buenas noches familia, sorpresa, jueves noche por aquí , actualizamos las power plant xL. Es la última semana antes de nuestra cosecha, el tiempo se nos echó encima y las Flores ya están echas, se preparó un lavado de raíces y tijeretazo,para sucesivamente colgarlas.( PRIMERA VEZ que se me echa el tiempo encima con la floración, jurao) Me habría gustado darles algo de estrés hídrico, pero lo veremos con las lemon kush y las northern light xL. -power plant xL es una cepa con predominancia sativa, con una corta floración,es un ejemplar fácil de cultivar, fuerte, y vigoroso. Estos ejemplares se cultivaron en 7L en sustrato light MIX de plagrOn, controlando en todo momento el PH de nuestras plantas, y dándoles de comer una gama advanced nutrients bastante básica. -PROS: facil cultivar, flores llenas de resina , flores compactas, ramas laterales largas. -CONTRAS: hay que tutorar por el peso de la flor, floración demasiado rápida a mi gusto (no te das ni cuenta). *Aquí ya me despido hasta la cosecha familia.

Grow Report Week 16: Harvest Approaches Hello dear grow friends, We are approaching the long-awaited harvest time, and the plants are now revealing their true beauty. The scents are becoming more intense, and I can hardly wait to taste the results. The Purple Surprise In particular, the Gorilla Zkittlez had a little surprise for me: it turned purple! I’m exceptionally pleased with this color change. Thanks to the controller provided by TrolMaster, I was able to maintain a constant temperature of 24 degrees Celsius, which should positively impact the development. Anticipation for the Coming Weeks Although the next two weeks will determine my harvest, I am completely satisfied with the progress so far. I will continue with the fertilization schedule, as it did not adversely affect the taste in the last attempt. I look forward to soon harvesting the fruits of my labor. The DoSiDos is still growing more pistils daily. The buds are swelling very well and it looks like she still has a week or 2 left before harvest. The humidity in the tent is a bit high (56%) so I moved the de-humidifier in the room to keep it below 50% and prevent budrot. The smell is just great, and still getting stronger each day as she matures. Because the DoSiDos is still growing quite a few white pistils, I have added a 40W red Led to the tent. The red light should stimulate the DoSiDos to speed up the blooming. Trouble in paradise this Saturday.I noticed a strange looking brownish leaf in the main cola. On further inspection it was full of budrot 😱. Luckily it was the top part of the main cola and I managed to keep most of the plant and none of the other buds had any mould inside. It's a real shame, but this can happen when experimental manoeuvres like dragging your plant inside again in the late stages of bloom. Well, let's see if I can keep her in one piece for at least a week more. The trichromes are still mostly transparant so she needs more time to mature.

PPFD at canopy height approximately 650-700 (Increase slowly), VPD ~1 - 1.2 Removed the autopots for now, because i had big problems with PH. Didnt washed the clay pebbles enough i think.. This week went really great! Plants are looking super healthy today at day 22 from seed!! Today they got a dose of just pure water phd at 6.5 ! Temperature an humidity has been staying pretty stable everyday, staying around 70-75 degrees and 58-61 % humidity!! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Three weeks into flower and things are moving along. I defoliated some of the lower branches and spread out a few branches here and there. Other than that it's the same situation as always. Nutrients are pumping and lights are beaming. Everything is running smooth and all is well with the world. Like some namaste shit going on around here at the moment. Could very well just be the calm before the storm...

Not much growth this week more water than usual this week…rainy season. Luckily she was not flooded out. Skunk strains are really slow in vegetation however I plan to veg her for a while.

So it's time to harvest Russian machine guns. The plants were high because we pulled them with a lamp and did not use LST. The final product was removed on the shelf of the refrigerator.00

I changed the lamp to 50 w :D because my growing box is only 0.16m. it's a really economical grow box, we'll see who gets it:) I think it would be great to reach 40 gr :)

So meine kleine Kofferprinzessin befindet sich nun in der zweiten Blütewoche (im Video sage ich Growwoche, das ist natürlich quatsch) und ich glaub alles ist soweit gut. Ich habe die kleine ein bisschen mit Draht von der Lampe weggebogen und hoffe das hilft irgendwie. PS Ich benutz nie wieder so n whackn Growkoffer :/
