A great week for the girls, started with some defoliating after figuring out where our net would be. Mostly the lower leaves and lowest sets of bud sites that would be popcorns or larf later. Also took a couple larger fan leaves to open them up for the light, and tied down the freshly healed topped main stems to even out the canopy. The diary was extended 2 days (and our diaries are late lol, birthdays) as we are flipping on the first of July, the net is around 70% full or more as of dropping it and tucking some branches. I'll probably shift them slightly, they'll be in the same spots but moved to give Blue Dream some extra tucking space. She's Sativa dominant and likely to stretch the most along side Apex and possible Citradellic Sunset but the journal's i've seen her stretch wasn't as severe lol. With extra tucking space, and being next to the taller hybrids it should help keep the right side canopy balanced. Both sides have their own 4x4 light. Bud Ignitor has been added on the last day. We will continue defoliation for the first two weeks of flower focusing on the under side of the canopy where it's shaded, and removing any suckers we find. There were signs of a Ph imbalance on Citradellic Sunset which is my own error, tap water Ph vs Nutrient Ph, not in soil anymore! lol But she has recovered happily and is growing vigorously. Still no new TDS meter so we stick close to the feeding schedule from Advanced Nutrients with some tweaks. We feed twice a week, Feed/Feed/Water. So instead of the full 4ml of base nutes we use 3ml each watering and they seem happier. 2ml of the additives but most are only added once a week except for Sensi Cal-Mag, Bud Candy and now Bud Ignitor (we also will use Big Bud, Nirvana and Overdrive twice a week). The final watering is PHd to be the same as the feed watering. Max strength base nutes have always burned the tips of my plants, I almost backed off to 2ml of base nutes twice a week as 3ml gave slight tip burn to the smaller Say Less and White Wedding but they have adjusted to it and new growth is healthy. I will most likely edge up to 3ml more gradually next grow. We are still new to scrog but I feel we are off to a better start this round, last time the net was completely full and I don't want a second net.

So of the two gelato mints one turned out to be hermit, and the mimosas only 2 made the final cut as one of them was vegging super slow and mutated, the mutant has been thrown in the mother tent to grow abit bigger cos I always like to flower out the mutants if i can. So basically down to 1 x Gelato Mint and 2 x Mimosa all of them looking really nice too, full root production, decent side branching and a strong smell on all 3, the mimosas look on the stockier side and the gelato looks like it's gonna be quite leggy! Looking forward to what these do, I'm half hoping the mimosa #1 is a keeper cos she smells unreal on the touch and has a lot of desirable traits so far.

Day 89 - pH thing has been quite steady the last few days, but I think part of the reason is I have been keeping it over 6 (between 6.1 & 6.3) which makes me think it may not be able to feed on something so keeps pH stable (This pH issue could be root acidification with too much Potassium; it seems to coincide with the PK Warrior being added - pH needs to be below 6 for Potassium uptake to happen so I artificially blocked it by keeping pH above 6!!!). EC also going up but not as quick as it was...drops back further than it was when adding RO water (i.e. if it drank 10L and EC went from 1.7 to 1.9, adding 10L back takes it to 1.6). So, as I have been promising myself for the last couple of days, I did a full tank change. Have dropped the feed substantially for the start of week 7 (Which is technically Monday coming). New Nute Strength: Silicon - 1ml/L Sumo Boost - 2ml/L Bloom A - 1.2ml/L Bloom B - 1.2ml/L PK Warrior - 0.4ml/L Sensizym - 2ml/L Fulvic - 2ml/L EC 0.8, pH 5.9 Did have A & B @ 1ml/L but EC was barely 0.7 (Background EC of water is 0.2) so added the touch more A&B so as not to super starve them. Will now monitor pH/EC for the next few days and try to keep levels nice and even for the next 9-10 days before going to week 8 force and week 9 flush and the finishing bulb! ************************************************* Day 85 - Dayum this pH management getting funky now!!! For the last week, pH keeps taking a nose dive (0.5-0.7 a day) with water level dropping and EC rising. Can't work out what the girls are at at all. Apart from lower leaf loss due to light being blocked, the plant is creating some new leaf matter (As you would expect) where light is getting reflected down low but can't work out the pH drops. No matter what EC i set them too, or pH, they only appear to be taking on water...or something micro (Ca/MG or the likes) and leaving the macro's. Topped up tank with some RO (Reclaimed from dehumidifier) water and only added calmag since tank change 3 nights back (It has some N in it for the new green and hopefully just gives what it needs with Ca/Mg). Apart from that, just keeping an eye on things to make sure no burn...dont want to put them on a starve on the beginning of Flower week 6!!!

58 Days have passed in flower. Cheese left, Gorilla Girl right. The "Just water no pH" experiment has failed me around week 5 of flower. I have not done anything to keep the soil biology alive so thats probably the issue. Its all good though, it was fun while it lasted and definitely worth a try. I have let the soil dry as much as possible and then i watered in a tablespoon molasses per gallon water. pH'd to 6.6. I just need atleast 3-7 more days of flower and hopefuly the buds will mature a little more. I took a snip of the bottom leafs to check for trichomes maturity, those are the weakest of trichomes on the plants. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎

This week the plant almost doubled in size, i must add that we had very nice weather and stable temperatures, shes getting sunlight from around 7AM to around 15PM-16PM and after that just daylight, i dont think i can harvest before the competition ends so bad luck, but its still great to grow this strain, cant wait to see her full of buds, hopefully they get fatter than my last balcony grow, but of course i had some bad weather with my last balcony grows also this one is in a much bigger pot which i really notice 👌😀 22 august: nothing 23 august: nothing 24 august: water 25 august: nothing 26 august: nothing 27 august: water 28 august: nothing

Starting week 3 not looking too bad

Welcome Back!💚 Nach der vierten Woche des Wachstums entwickelt sich die S Apple Apple zu einem richtigen kleinen verastelten Busch. Allmählich ist eine reguläre Triebform erkennbar, dennoch bilden sich die Triebe sehr langsam und eng anliegend aus. Sie fasziniert mich sehr und ich bin so gespannt, ob sie dann auch ordentlich so die Triebe ausbildet. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die Pflanze entwickelt. Diese Woche habe ich die Pflanze Mal mit dem BioTabsNl Boom Boom Spray foliert. Sunday last day of week 11 expecting to cut it down fed banana, molasses, and honey for a final flush with ice, Friday final ice flush. In the dark for 12 hours then cut down for harvest

Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Pour cette semaine 3 au jour 19 ma plante fais 21 centimètres et son septième noeud apparaît je décide donc de pratiquer un LST sur ma plante. Pour ce j'utilise du fil de fer galvanisé que je plante directement dans le substrat en faisant attention de ne pas endommagé les racines car n'oublions pas que ce qui pousse dessus pousse aussi dessous. Jour 17 je pulvérise du une solution composé d'une cuillère à café de savon noir mou (marque briochin) dilué dans un demi litre d'eau en prévention d'éventuels nuisibles. Pourquoi le savon noir mou ? Savon noir : quelle utilisation pour le jardin ? Le savon noir est un produit naturel dont les propriétés nettoyantes sont connues depuis l'Antiquité. Utilisé pour l'entretien de la maison et pour les soins corporels, ses vertus antibactériennes et insecticides en font un allié précieux pour le jardinier bio. Le savon noir est fabriqué à partir de potasse et d'un corps gras de type huils végétale comme l'huile d'olive, de lin ou de maïs. Produit naturel et biodégradable (s'il ne contient pas d'additifs, comme cela peut-être parfois le cas), c'est un très bon produit nettoyant, pour les sols, la cuisine, la vaisselle, le linge, etc... Très polyvalent, il est également économique, comparé aux multiples détergents classiques du commerce. Le savon noir se trouve sous forme de pâte molle et brune ou sous forme liquide, dilué avec de l'eau. C'est du savon noir liquide dont on se sert généralement au jardin, car son utilisation est plus simple. Il s'achète dans les magasins bio ainsi qu'en grandes surfaces ou jardineries. Attention : la recette du savon noir de ménage et celle du savon noir utilisé en cosmétique ne sont pas forcément les mêmes ; les savons noir de ménage (multi-usages) peuvent contenir davantage de potasse afin d'améliorer le pouvoir dégraissant (irritant ou desséchant pour la peau), voire même certains additifs chimiques. Au jardin, ce sont en priorité les propriétés antiseptiques et insecticides du savon noir qui sont utilisées. Le savon noir liquide est utilisé pour lutter contre les pucerons, les cochenilles, les araignées rouges, les aleurodes, les psylles et autres thrips. C'est un insecticide de contact ; il tue les larves et nettoie le miellat qui englue les feuilles. La recette de l'insecticide à base de savon noir (mou pour ma par marque briochin) est simple à réaliser : une ou deux cuillères à café de savon noir mou (briochin) diluées dans 1 demi litre d'eau tiède (dilution à 5 %) ; une fois la préparation refroidie, pulvérisez-la sur les plantes atteintes, en prenant soin de ne pas oublier l'envers des feuilles. À renouveler 1 à 2 fois si nécessaire, pour être totalement débarrassé des indésirables. Comme il est de mise pour la plupart des traitements, ne pulvérisez pas la solution à base de savon noir en pleine journée, sous le soleil (ni sous la pluie !) ; procédez le matin de bonne heure ou patientez jusqu'à la fin de journée, lorsque les températures sont en dessous de 20°C. Jour 18 Je corrige mon LST suivant la pousse de ma plante ... Pour ma par c'est la manière dont je procède mais petit rappel de la technique du LST Quand commencer à appliquer la technique LST ? De nombreux cultivateurs commencent la manipulation dés que les plantes possèdent entre 3 et 6 nœuds ou une paire de feuilles. Durant cette première étape de la croissance, le tronc encore flexible est pliable sans risque qu’il ne se casse, même si au fur et à mesure du développement de la plante il sera de plus en plus difficile de le plier. Nous pouvons continuer à guider la croissance des branches durant toute la culture, même durant la floraison, ce qui pour cette étape représente un grand avantage face à la taille, qui n’est pas du tout recommandé une fois que la formation des têtes commence, cela stressera en effet la plante, ce qui aura pour effet de retarder la récolte. Comment appliquer la technique de guidage LST Si nous sommes prudents, la flexibilité naturelle des fibres du cannabis permet de plier leur tronc et branches avec une relative facilitée, même durant la floraison des plantes. En utilisant une corde fine, nous pouvons accrocher la pointe de la plante à la base du pot par exemple ou à un tuteur que nous aurons planté dans le substrat. Nous plierons le tronc avec précaution et nous le fixerons avec la corde, à partir de là, nous pouvons augmenter progressivement la tension de la corde, chaque jour un peu plus, jusqu’à obtenir la position souhaitée. Soyez attentif à la réaction de la plante, essayez de ne pas appliquer trop de pression sur la corde et rappelez-vous que la flexibilité des branches peut varier d’une plante à l’autre. Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, il suffit de suivre quelques règles simples. Pour commencer, nous devons choisir une corde fine mais pas trop pour ne pas blesser les troncs au fur et à mesure qu’ils grandissent et qu’ils deviennent plus gros. Nous pouvons utiliser des crochets en plastique souple ou de n’importe quelle autre matière flexible pour éviter d’endommager les plantes. Spécialement en intérieur, utiliser des cordons en plastique de couleur (voir les diaries de @Silky) est très pratique pour voir facilement les accroches et faciliter le travail au milieu du réseau formés par les cordes, les tuteurs, les mailles ou les supports que nous aurons dans la culture. Bien entendu, en culture extérieure et surtout en guerilla nous ferons juste le contraire et nous utiliserons des matériaux de couleur qui n’attirent pas l’attention pour que notre jardin reste discret. Pour stresser les plantes au minimum, la mieux est de réaliser ces manipulations le soir ou juste après que les lampes en intérieur s’éteignent, ce qui leur permettra de se remettre durant la nuit. Normalement, le jour suivant nous pourrons observer comme les pointes des branches que nous avons pliées se dressent de nouveau vers le haut à la recherche d’une source de lumière. Late update (2days late) Awfull pics, but plant looks great and very healthy. It is very very big, 1.15m now I didnt measure lasy 2/weeks, but suddenly it looked so tall. Almost Halloweed Happy Halloweed

It's been 47 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. Didn't want all them to smell like nuken marshmallows lol. It's awesome that I can get right inside the tent to do any work i need👍. Even if I wanted an 4x8 tent. I'd rather this 8x8 because it's so easy to work with the plants and have so much room to move around and massive headroom when I'm in there chillin with the gals🤣🤘.
