Hi everyone! So nothing really of note to report this week, she is definitely getting closer to harvest as she is uptaking significantly less nutrients now than she did a week or two ago so I have had to go down on nutrients and will probably have to lower it even more as it is still raising daily. She is also getting a bit fatter and denser but I'm really hoping to see some improvement here over the last weeks🙏 I have again been pretty busy outside the grow tent this week building and setting up an outdoor gardening area at our house for my girlfriend to grow her vegetables, fruits, and flowers so I have had less time to be in there and have forgotten to take pictures some of the days. But it has been lucky that I haven't really had any problems to attend to in the tent so all I have had to do is the daily PH and EC measurements and then change the water every other day. I decided this week to start adding nutrients at a very low dose at 1/8th of the recommended dose. I'm quite happy with how growth is progressing so far. There is a slight deformation in one of the first leaves but i'm not worried about it at this stage.

This past week was a major turning point for the girls. After the rough transplant stress and dehydration, they finally bounced back and are now showing strong, vigorous vegetative growth. The transplant into final 20L smart pots together with Big Plant, mycorrhizae and a drainage layer of clay pebbles seems to have kickstarted the root zone really nicely. The girls were topped this week and handled it surprisingly well. New tops already started pushing hard and side branching is waking up fast. Bio Heaven definitely seems to help with recovery and overall vigor — new growth is looking healthier, greener and more explosive every day. The LED is performing beautifully so far. Internodal spacing stays super tight and the plants are stacking very compact and bushy, exactly what I want for the upcoming SCROG run. Structure is looking ideal for training: low profile growth, dense branching, tight node spacing, nice lateral expansion starting. Next phase now is: spreading the branches outward, starting LST, opening up the center, preparing for the screen. Currently watering every 3–4 days with around 2L of nutrient solution per pot. The smart pots are drying back nicely and the medium still feels airy and healthy. Lower yellowing leaves are still showing some leftover damage from the earlier stress period, but the important thing is that all fresh growth looks healthy and active now, so I’m not worried about it anymore.

Decided one more week of flower. Replenished with nutrients on Monday. Will replenish with just straight water for the rest of the week. If needed, I will change the reservoir water to give it more of a flush. Plan is to harvest next week and start the curing! Excited to see how my first grow changed .

The plant seemed recovered but still dwarfy, because she only got around 6 hours of sunlight, or maybe even less, on my balcony.

CAFE RACER 22/4---->13/8 Everything was fine until week 4 when i brought her to my garden. The changing environment slowed her down. Week 7 starts to appear preflower. Streching lasts for 3 weeks(streching x2) Week 4 of bloom starts to smell ( weak) Week 7-8 of bloom: rains a lot so the humidity is high so i harvested her by week 8 of bloom. welcome to one of the last episodes of the BIG Cheese twins chronicles! ...I cannot believe it either, but when i checked her trichomes this morning, with my microscope.. she is as good as done!!(the FAT, smaller one at least) So beautiful trichomes she has too.. a lot of them looked like lil' chuncks of cheese! (deep yellow, with spots on them 😁) But a lot of old cheese too (orange, brown) so think gonna chop her end of this week!(be4 it starts raining again..😎) Its finally sunny weather so gonna let her enjoy the sunshine some more 😎 dont think her sister is ready yet (the tall skinny one) but she will get there soon enough! She is covered with trichomes.. my camera had a hard time focussing in the buds so sprakly!!😻 So the next episode of the cheese twins chronicles will be a harvest!! She looks extremely frosty and stink like good lemony shit it's crazy but she doesn't smell like the other phenotype I have of lemon pie,she smells very citric but very floral at the same time, very sweet, her sister smells just like moby dick. Can't wait to try this lady 😍

I was apparently too busy paying attention to the loud girl. 😂👃💨 And somehow... Big Mama Pheno B escaped the camera. Again. 😂📸❌ So no dedicated photo session for her this week. But before anyone thinks we've forgotten about this beautiful girl... NO. Absolutely not. She's right there. She's clearly visible in the room footage. And honestly, anyone who has been following this diary already knows exactly who she is. She's Big Mama. She's big. She's beautiful. She's present. She's substantial. She's doing exactly what she has been doing throughout this entire journey. And she's still looking damn good. 👑🌿🌸 So this week we're going to do something slightly different. No photo gallery. No individual portraits. Just a little reminder that the Big Mama is still standing there in the jungle... doing her thing... and quietly becoming louder herself. You see her in the room footage... and immediately: "There she is." 😂 She's got presence. She's got size. She's got structure. She's got flowers. She's got that unmistakable Godfather OG personality. And even though this week doesn't have her usual collection of dedicated photographs, she hasn't disappeared. Not even close. She's still right there. Still developing. Still filling her space. Still moving toward the final stages. And still looking beautiful. ──────────────────────── 📸 YES… WE MISSED THE PHOTO SESSION Let's just admit it. 😂 This week... the camera didn't make it to Big Mama. Somehow, I got distracted with her sister and the whole "WHO THE HELL IS MAKING THIS MUCH SMELL?" situation. 😂👃🔥 And by the time I realized it... the dedicated photo session was already gone. So instead of pretending otherwise, we're simply documenting it honestly. There are no dedicated photos of Pheno B this week. But she is clearly visible in the room videos. And if you've been following these reports... you know exactly what you're looking at. You know her structure. You know her position. You know her size. You know those flowers. You know Big Mama. 👑🌿 And next week? She's getting her full photographic treatment again. Promise. 😂📸 ──────────────────────── 🌿 THE PLANT IS STILL DOING HER THING And honestly... that's probably the most important part. The missing photographs don't mean anything changed in the plant. She's still developing. Still flowering. Still maturing. Still filling her space. Still doing what she has been doing for weeks. We're now deep into the later flowering stage, and the plant is increasingly focused on finishing what she started. The structure is already established. The flowers are there. The plant has spent the entire grow building herself. Now we're watching that work mature. And Big Mama is doing exactly that. Quietly. Consistently. Beautifully. ──────────────────────── 👑 SHE'S STILL GOT PRESENCE Some plants you have to search for. Not this girl. 😂👑 Even in the room footage... she stands out. She's big. She's substantial. She's got flowers everywhere. And she has that presence that we've been talking about since the beginning. That's one of the reasons I gave her the nickname Big Mama in the first place. She earned it. And she still does. She's not suddenly becoming smaller because we forgot to photograph her. 😂 She's still occupying her space. She's still making herself noticed. And she's still one of those girls that you look at when you walk into the room. "Yep." There's Big Mama. ──────────────────────── 🌸 THE FLOWERS ARE STILL BEAUTIFUL Even without this week's close-up gallery, the room footage gives us enough of a look to see that the flowers are continuing their development. They're becoming more mature. The structures are becoming increasingly established. The plant is progressing toward the final stages. And when you know this phenotype from the previous weeks, you can recognize her expression immediately. That's something I really love about these individual diaries. After twelve-plus weeks of watching a plant... you learn her. You don't need a label every time. You know the structure. You know the way she fills the room. You know the way her flowers develop. You know her personality. And Big Mama has become one of those plants for me. ──────────────────────── 💨 AND WHAT ABOUT THE SMELL? Now... this is where things get interesting. Because after being distracted by her sister... I started comparing. 😂👃 And I have to say... Pheno B is definitely not silent. She's not as loud as her sister. Or at least... she doesn't seem to be right now. Her aroma isn't hitting me in quite the same way. But... the profile is very similar. And I'm pretty damn sure she's getting louder by the day. 😂🔥👃 That's what I'm noticing. She's developing her own aromatic presence. Maybe she's simply taking her time. Maybe she's going to surprise us later. Maybe her sister is just naturally more aggressive with the aroma. Or maybe... Big Mama is simply warming up. 😂 And if she keeps increasing at this rate... we might have another loud girl on our hands. ──────────────────────── 👃 SAME FAMILY – DIFFERENT VOLUME This is another beautiful little lesson from the 8×8 Adventure. Two phenotypes. Same general genetics. Same room. Same lighting. Same irrigation. Same nutrition. Same environment. And yet... different expressions. Even the aroma can tell us something. Pheno A is currently making herself VERY obvious. Pheno B? She's more reserved. For now. 😂👃 But the underlying profile feels similar. And that's exactly the sort of thing I love seeing. Because we're not simply asking: "What does Godfather OG smell like?" We're asking: "What does THIS Godfather OG phenotype smell like?" And then... "What does her sister smell like?" And suddenly the answer becomes much more interesting. ──────────────────────── 💚 BIG MAMA IS STILL LOOKING HEALTHY Despite this week's photographic failure... she's still giving us a beautiful overall impression. And when we look at Big Mama... she's telling us she's okay. These plants are growing mad for what they are! They hit 43 days old from seed. Im still feeding once a week and watering with tap water every two days. Im having abit of heat issues but they should be alright. As long as theres air flow going around.
