Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Coming into week 4. I have trellis netted for scrog . I like to trellis about a week before switching to flower in this space. Plants were 22 inches tall, after trellis net brought them back down to 12 inches tall.

Yeah not much to update on this week apart from the ladies are doing really well, best grow so far. Really easy strain to grow, no issues whatsoever.

Day 1. No signs of flower yet but good growth and the girl scout is finally growing well. Day 2. FLOWERING :D Checked on the girls early evening to find they are now drinking 1lt per day and had amazing growth overnight. As I was doing some more training I noticed my first pistils. I will raise the lights tomorrow by about 40% to encourage the flower stretch Day 3. Raised the lights to encourage growth. Day 4. No access missed feeding 😭 Day 5. Plants look sad due to missing a feed also noticed discolouration on 1 leaf Day 6. Plants have bounced back and looking good. the discolouration has spread from one leaf to a few so almost certain its a mag deficiency. Day 7. Very happy today good stretch. Flushed the plant with the mag deficiency to make sure it's not locked and the CalMag arrives tomorrow

Pistils spotted on 4/7 plants will veg 2 more weeks

The girls are still wanting a good bit of calcium nitrate so I’m keeping it steady, the smell is great and the buds are entering the mid flower stage nicely. Might even be seeing some hints of purple forming in the core of the Queen’s buds. Watching your plants flower is just a good time, show your girls some love today. cheers

december 20th gave her half a gallon of dechlorinated tap water phd to 6.6 with 1/2 tsp of bloom nutes to each 3 gallons of water. runoff tested at 6.3 ph. she was showing a few deficiencies

The bud sites are just covered in tricomes, I had my magnifying glass out to check the colour and most are milky but not as much as I thought by going by the pistol coloring, as they are mostly brown. There is a more of a spicy dank smell to her now and the fan leaves have mostly died or are close to dying. Hopefully I can start the flush process soon but will not do this till I'm happy with the tricome colouring.

At the beginning of week 5 they all look a bit small and bushy to me. But let's see.. .Maybe they get a little kick and grow during the first weeks of the flowering phase, which we've now entered :) I cut a really small amount of leaves that were touching the ground on the auto bending one.And I started giving them two additional hours of light. Hope they like it. UPDATE: I had to start defoliation because the leaves were so bushy that they were getting wet in between... Hope this helps : And hope they get a little taller...

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked.
