Harvest went well. Chopped them down. Hanging now with a gentle fan. Chopped a few lower branches to dry and smoke while waiting. Havent weighed anything yet. Will add weights to this week soon. A total of 14.3 oz.

Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

Was dealing with some minor salt build up, caught it early. #2 is 12 days into flower , I reckon she might still be stretching. #1 has just recently started to begin her stretch phase

Week 4 flower : everything’s looking nice still got the lights about 7-9” from top of canopy without any issues . The humidity has gone up to 50% in day and I can’t really get it any lower I’ve already got a dehumidifier so don’t want to get another one . I would like to lower to 40-45% and lower for last 2 weeks but can’t see that happening . I’ve started the pk from end of week 4 (day 28 )at 1ml per litre this took my ec to 2.2 I will see how it goes and maybe up it to 1.2-1.5 and I’m going to use the pk for 7-14 days then I will start the flush I also lowered the silicone to 0.5ml per litre 3x blue cheese plants are on the left but has spread over and 1x sunset sherbet on the right

Got the filter that could be used to clean the tap water, so we changed the water in the system to be filtered water and make some upgrade on the system.

Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! Made hydroponics system myself. Very easy. I should have fed them with voodoo juice if They were in plastic cups. It took the roots so long to grow in regular soil.

Still waiting on the replacement phone for my ph meter but I'm tired of waiting so I order one just to have as back up. Everything still looking good. I just wish I could have had my ph meter for the whole grow. Let me know what y'all think.

Things are swelling up nice this week. Orange Hairs are starting to appear on all the buds one by one. It's been a very enjoyable grow. The buds are super tight! The sugar level could be better but If I have a successful harvest I will be very grateful. Any larger sugar leaves on the bottom of plants are starting to wither. Feedings are at 1150-1200ppm. as often as I can get the pots to dry. I will be getting more fans for this very purpose. I can't feed them if they are still wet. I was worried I had too many plants. But after defoliations and the plants stopping foliating I've wound up with a super solid canopy. I was reading other FoxFarm Diaries and I believe I have been underfeeding even though I've been following the feeding schedule. Not enough ppm's in flower to just use the Trio- Schedule. This morning I fed at 1550ppm and the plants are showing no negative signs. The max you can achieve using just the trio and the schedule is around 1150ppm. First week going smooth,just a little bit cold but still feeling good

Day 82. Last week for them, next weekend they are down. Was expecting them to be developed a lot better, but this grow went with hiccups too ... Looks like they stuck in the development a bit. My friend left light dimmed down twice for few days each time ... Gnats ... And we are here ... Still colas fat, Gelato not so smelly, Wedding Cake is a lot stinker. Happy Growing !!!

This week I used Canna RHIZOTONIC as a leaf spray instead of only putting it in my feeding for the roots. I have never done that before but i have seen good results when doing it. So now i will switch between Canna Cure and Canna RHIZOTONIC when spraying the plants. Did some LST again and a little Defoliation, i really try to keep the plants as small as i can keep them. Because i don't want them to get higher then my balcony fench. The plants are like 20 cm +- in height and the distance between the top of the plants and the top of the french is 60cm. Since I grow some sativas as well I expect them to grow a lot while in flowering stage, so i have to keep bending them because they can only grow for another 60cm maximum. I also have to clean stuff around the plants to give them some more space lol and might have to make a larger roof or a door, because some rain still rains inside from the side. Growing Fast Buds Tangie'Matic again. This was one of the first strains I grew and I had great results the first time. Looking forward to seeing if I can up my game at all this time. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner.
