💜 Week 7 – Purple CousKush Auto (Pheno B) Quiet Confidence One of the things I love most about growing multiple phenotypes side by side is discovering that every plant has its own way of telling a story. Some demand attention from the very beginning. Others slowly earn it. This Purple CousKush has always belonged to the second group. Since germination she's chosen her own rhythm, never trying to become the tallest plant in the room or the fastest to flower. Instead, she's quietly built herself into an incredibly balanced, healthy and elegant little lady. For anyone joining this 8×8 Adventure for the first time, this entire project is about growing multiple phenotypes side by side under exactly the same conditions. Every plant receives the same environment, nutrition and care, allowing their unique genetics and personalities to tell the story. This Purple CousKush is proving that sometimes the quietest phenotype becomes one of the most rewarding to watch. Week after week she's reminded me that confidence doesn't always need to be loud. Sometimes it simply grows. 🌱 Plant Development Week 7 finds this beautiful phenotype standing at approximately 88 cm, adding another impressive stretch since last week's update while maintaining the same wonderfully symmetrical structure she's displayed from the beginning. Although she still isn't the tallest Purple CousKush in the tent, she's becoming one of those plants that immediately catches your eye for all the right reasons. Every branch has continued developing evenly, creating a beautifully open canopy where light reaches almost every flowering site. The spacing between nodes has proven to be nearly ideal, giving each future cola plenty of room to develop without feeling crowded. The flowers themselves have taken a noticeable step forward this week. Fresh white pistils continue exploding from every bud site, while the individual flowers are beginning to connect into the first recognizable colas. They're still young, but the direction is becoming very clear. One thing that really stands out is her colour. The foliage has shifted into an incredibly rich emerald green that almost glows under the lights. Every leaf looks healthy, every stem feels strong, and the entire plant gives the impression of being perfectly comfortable in her environment. She may not be shouting for attention. But she's certainly earning it. 🌿 Environment & Growing Conditions Another week of stable environmental conditions has allowed this phenotype to continue flowering without interruption. • 12/12 light schedule from seed • Future of Grow Black Series LED delivering approximately 850 PPFD • Lumiflora under-canopy lighting now supporting lower flower development • Mammoth Pro grow tent • Day temperature around 29°C • Night temperature around 25°C • Relative humidity averaging 60% • CO₂ approximately 639 ppm • pH 5.8 • EC 1.95 mS/cm One exciting addition this week has been introducing the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting. While the main Future of Grow Black Series continues driving the canopy from above, the Lumiflora fixtures now provide additional light beneath the canopy, helping lower flowering sites receive energy that would normally be lost in the shadows. As the flowers continue stacking over the coming weeks, this extra light should contribute to more uniform bud development throughout the entire plant instead of concentrating production only at the top. It's another small detail that helps maximize every square centimetre of the grow space. 💧 Feeding Program Growing in a 15 L Plagron Lightmix container and receiving approximately 1.1 litres of solution per irrigation, she continues responding beautifully to the current bloom programme. This week's nutrient solution consisted of: • Terra Bloom – 2 ml/L • Pure Zym – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L The slightly increased EC has been welcomed without hesitation. Leaf colour remains beautifully vibrant, new flower growth is accelerating and the plant continues showing absolutely no signs of nutrient excess or deficiency. Sometimes the best feeding schedule isn't the most complicated one. It's simply the one the plant happily accepts. 🌸 Phenotype Notes This Purple CousKush continues reminding me that beauty isn't measured in height. She's growing with incredible balance. The main stem has become noticeably thicker, every branch is supporting itself confidently, and each flowering site appears to be developing at almost exactly the same pace. There's something incredibly satisfying about watching a plant where nothing seems forced. Everything feels natural. The rich green foliage frames the developing flowers perfectly, while the bright white pistils almost sparkle against the darker leaves. She isn't trying to steal the spotlight. She simply shines in her own quiet way. Sometimes those become the most memorable plants of the entire run. 🔍 Looking Ahead The stretch now appears to be slowing, which means the next phase should become increasingly exciting. Over the coming week I expect the flowers to begin stacking much more aggressively as the plant redirects more of her energy into building density rather than height. The introduction of the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting should also begin showing its benefits as the lower bud sites receive additional usable light, helping create a more consistent canopy from top to bottom. The framework has been built. Now comes the part every grower loves watching. The swelling. The stacking. And slowly, the first hints of the beautiful Purple CousKush she's been promising all along. 💭 Final Thoughts This week made me smile. Not because she's suddenly become the biggest plant in the room. But because she's becoming exactly what she was meant to be. Healthy. Balanced. Elegant. Every photograph tells the same story. Deep green leaves. Strong stems. Beautiful flower formation. And a plant that looks completely at peace with herself. She reminds me that growing isn't always about chasing the biggest harvest or the tallest canopy. Sometimes it's simply about appreciating a plant that's doing everything right. And this beautiful lady... She's doing exactly that. 🙏 Thank You A huge thank you to everyone following this 8×8 Adventure. Every comment, every question and every shared experience make this journey even more rewarding. A special thank you to the amazing companies helping bring this grow to life: 💜 Zamnesia for the incredible Purple CousKush genetics. 💜 Plagron for providing the nutrition that keeps these ladies thriving. 💜 Future of Grow for delivering outstanding lighting from above with the Black Series LED. 💜 Lumiflora for helping illuminate the canopy from below, ensuring every flower has the opportunity to reach its full potential. 💜 TrolMaster for maintaining the stable environment that allows these plants to perform at their very best. And finally, thank you to the entire GrowDiaries community. Whether you're here to learn, share your own journey or simply enjoy watching these phenotypes develop, I truly appreciate every visit, every comment and every conversation. Until next week... Growers Love and happy growing! 🌱💚

The plants have officially started flowering and are looking strong and healthy! 🌸 Unfortunately, I ran into a nutrient lockout in the soil, so I flushed each pot with about 20L of pH-adjusted tap water. This brought the runoff PPM down from around 2000 to about 900. For this next watering, I’ll be giving only plain water and checking the runoff again. Based on the readings, I’ll decide whether to resume nutrients on the following watering—and if so, whether to start with a half dose or go back to a full dose. So far, the plants seem to be handling everything perfectly, and I’m excited to see how they develop through bloom. 🌱💪

I used half the recommended dose of Indo products for each plant through this grow. The video quality gets better as i upgraded phone sometime soon. The monkey juice is half recommended making it every week rather than full dose every two. The sticky bandit was fed with it every week at half dose till later on.

Hi, the next week was without any problems. The girls are gaining weight nicely. The first one drinks 2.3 l, leaks 0.5. The second one drinks 1.7 l and leaks 0.5. The second one only gets Dragon force 4ml/l + a drop of calmag, I would like to fertilize this week and then flush for two weeks. The first one is about 2 weeks behind, she gets basic rotting + everything else except dragon force, but in a week or two I would like to start giving her only dragon force.

Hi meine lieben, 🤗 Willkommen zur Ernte... ... was soll ich sagen.

Hi growmies, The plants are in full flower now and have been defoliated after the hst of last week and seems like she has recovered. I had removed the filter and vent from the box and have the vent suck the air out of the box into the carbon filter, which gave me another 10 cm to play with. The plant consumes around 2 l of nutrient solution in 24 hours. This whole experience is howling me that I have to change the system in the box as I loose to much height with the grow table and the rockwool blocks. Will probably run a 20 l DWC in it, that I am currently working on.

8/3 Went over to treat the 10th planet that needed water with plant doctor around 10:30. I was in the garden at 6 but didn't have much time. That plant seems to be curled up or "droopy". It DID need water. I defoliated a few sep leaves off it but I didn't see any today. I guess I don't ever really see the leaves "up" or praying like I do with the rest of tge plants. It's starting to flower like the rest though. Today is the day everything is supposed to get its second or third plant doctor dose but I decided to wait until they need the water. I don't think 24hrs will mean much. I've been staying on top of defoliation but I'm seeing some pillar damage. I'd like to spray bt but what my buddy said about spraying with septoria is still in my head. Maybe I can use citric acid. That way it won't "wash away" spores it will just eat them. At least I think. And I hope lol. Birds get most of the pillars but I hand pick some too. I need to pick up nutes. Wondering if I should just get grow big again. I don't use much but plants are switching to flower and leaves are fading. I have big bloom and kool bloom bit neither have nitrogen. I still need some sort of nitrogen. Especially since that could be a deficiency. Not sure if it's the transition or a condition with the sep. I see some interior small leaves bleeding out and some dying. I'm wondering if what I thought was earwig damage years prior was really a combo of sep and they just ate the evidence. I'm super grateful though. I've got some resilient girls and they're doing well. The special kush in flower is gorgeous as well. Looks like I'll have an early plant. Short flowering time on this strain. Smells pungent. 8/4 Treated everything in the garden with plant doctor except the 10th planet I got yesterday. I need to take a closer look at that plant. It rarely looks "happy" like my others. I'll check it again later. 3tsp per gallon and 1gal a plant. The 10s got a half gallon. This seems to be working great. I have some defoliation to do on the tenth planet I was talking about earlier. Everything is in some form of flower. The flowers on that early special kush are getting bigger. I'll update this later. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER AT NOON TO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT OTHER 10TH PLANET TO SEE IF IT PICKED UP AT ALL. IT DID. IM GLAD I CAME OVER TO CHECK THOUGH. MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. THE OTHER 10TH PLANET LOOKS HORRIBLE O. FILM FROM ONE ANGLE LOL BUT ITS REALLY A GREAT LOOKING PLANT AND IM USUALLY FILMING AT LIKE 6AM. JIST WANTED TO STICK UP FORCMY GIRL AND HER BAD HAIR DAY. ITS BEEN HIT AND A FEW OF HER LEAVES ARE TACOED. SHE GOT HER FIRST "PREVENTATIVE" DOSE OF PLANT DOCTOR WHICH WAS HALF A TSP/GALLON. IT REALLY SEEMS TO BE DOING SUBSTANTIALLY BETTER. EVERYTHING IS. IM HAVING TO LOOK HARDER AND AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING LEAVES EFFECTED BY SEPTORIA. KNOCK ON WOOD. IM EXCITED. THIS IS GOING BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. IM STILL GOING TO BE MONITERING LIKE I USUALLY DO. 8/5 Watered the 10th planet I dodnt get yesterday. Looked and didn't see any sep leaves. Phone was dead so I vouldnt do a video. Went back over at like 130pm and did a quick video and checked out the girls. Everything is looking good and transitioning well. I WANT to use a diy Dr. Zymes with citric acid as I've noticed a few pillars. Only reason I've hesitated is because my buddy said not to spray it. But if what I spray it with "eats" it I would think it's ok. But what do I know. Birds get a great deal of them. I watch them on the camera sit on the cage and wait for one to stick it's head up before snatching it up. Still need to get either more grow big or a bloom product with nitrogen. I was able to defoliate that other 10th planet of anything suspect. It's hard work but it's worth it in the end. 8/6 It's like 81 at 4pm. I didn't have time to video this morning but i went back over. WATERED EVERYTHING THIS BUT THE 50 AND THE 10TH PLANET I GOT YESTERDAY. Temps are supposed to pick up soon and it will be in the 90's again. We've had like NO rain. I searched for leaves that had signs of sep to defoliate. I may find one or two but for the most part things are doing great. Overall I'm happy. 8/7 Bought a new bottle of grow big. Wanted to switch to the roots organic teas but I cant do that invthe middle of an already complicated grow. I'll switch nutes next season. I'm noticing some pillar damage. Not much amd I've been hand picking them. I've found a few in curled up leaves. I watered the 10th planet in the front corner that didn't get it yesterday. I hope the watering yesterday will hold them until the morning. I'm still thinking about doing an application of diy Dr. Zymes to clear up any random pests. I'll ask a question and see what other growers on here have to say. EDIT: MY SPIDEY SENSES STARTED TINGLING SO I WENT OVER TO CHECK ON THE GIRLS THIS AFTERNOON. THE MK ULTRA THAT I LEFT NATURAL WAS STARTING TO DROOP. THE REST OF THE GIRLS COULD WAIT. I MIXED WATER FOR ONE OF THE TENS BUT DECIDED AGAINST IT. I DONT WANT TO OVERWATER AND I THINK IT CAN MAKE IT. I GAVE THE MK ULTRA A FULL WATERING CAN WHICH IS ALMOST TWO GALLONS. IT WAS PUCKING UP BYVTHE TIME I LEFT AND WASNT EVEN ALL THE WAY DOWN. IM GLAD I CHECKED. The ONLINE cannabis community can be such a joke. There ARE good groups but this places sucks. I put a question up as PART of the research I was doing and ive received some dumb answers but this was aggressive too. I had it figured out prior to reading the answer but it caught me off guard. I decided that since Im able to keep it suppressed with what im doing (leaf septoria on a couple of plants) than don'tchange it. I've dealt with it before and kept it suppressed but not nearly as well. It was a yes or no question really. Stated for outdoor experienced growers as I was looking to avoid the copy paste/ look how smart I am bullshit. I just have an anxiety disorder and like to hear numerous responses before I act. I figure it out and log on and I get some smart ass response from an INDOOR grower. When I SPECIFICALLY asked for EXPERIENCED OUTDOOR growers (as the question is unique to the outdoor environment and indoor growers seem snobby and seem to get jealous when they see my massive plants a quote what they just searched on the internet). I can read shit on the internet as well and had prior to posting. I'm sorry if my success with a product (that you are unaware of "but can't see how it could work" (despite not knowing the active ingredients by your own admission) and lots of hard work have prevailed. When I have to ditch a plant it's 1/4 to a full elbow. Not an 1/8th. So I won't be burning shit. I hate when people say that. There are cases for it but many new growers have been led astray with stupid advice like this. ESPECIALLY if everything is going GOOD! If a plant was less than perfect I'd put it in my concentrates bag. Not much fits through a 25 micron screen. But by all means burn your plants. I have no idea how I have ZERO wpm this year but I would hear shit like this for a couple leaves "with gravel on them" on a 10ft tall plant that yielded like a pound. So I don't know why I listen or why I even responded. Even if it WAS wpm I would've kept it and washed it. It must be nice to be able to work 20 weeks on something numerous times a day put a bunch of money in it and when you hit flower burn it because you don't want to do the extra work. You can easily tell the people that don't grow outdoors. It's a completely different game. But since I've already written it I'm leaving it. One more thing. You didn't even know what the active ingredients in my product were. How can you make ANY statements about the efficacy of ANYTHING without knowing what it is? You said "unless it's a bunch of silica" that provokes an immune response. It's not silica hun. I've been hunting for years for something that works. Go back to your closet. 8/8 The Lion's Gate Portal. Watered everything but the mk ultra and 10th planet upfront I got yesterday. I was going to feed but I ran out of time. I may still feed today I'm not sure. I found a couple septoria leaves on that pink kush that has "some" soil from last year in it. That is a mistake I won't make again. I'm checking a few times a day and defoliating anything suspect. The girls are looking good. I'm proud of them. Very resilient. They've withstood pretty much everything nature can throw at them. HAIL, torrential downpours, 30mph winds, disease and still they are thriving. There's really no way to explain the feeling that I get when I come to the garden in the morning and see everything looking good and smell that familiar odor. Serenity I guess. Pure serenity. I'll update if I feed or do anything else. EDIT: WENT BACK OVER AT LIKE 5:30 since it was over 90°. Everything was fine waterwise though. Caught a HUGE grasshopper and found a pillar the likes I've never seen. It was a scary looking bastard! Looked like one of the worms from tremors and it almost seemed like it had some silk around it. It opened its mouth when I went to grab it. It was brown but neon green when I squished it. I need to find a good mulch. They say that helps with septoria. I defoliated a few leaves while I was there. It's close to the time for app of plant doctor. I decided to not feed. I saw a couple leaves that had SLIGHT nute burn on the tips. I'll observe and treat accordingly. 8/9 I decided to not feed this week. All new growth looks great and I noticed SLIGHT burns on tje tips of a few leaves so I figured I'd back off this week. Boy that early special Kush keeps getting bigger. It's going to be nice to have one plant ready long before the others. I'm wondering about my other 10th planet. The one that's had all the plant doctor treatment is doimg fantastic! The other not as much. It's droopy more often than not and doesn't really have many leaves effected by sep. What it LOOKS like is that beat curly top virus. The plant was one of the largest but it's much smaller sister has surpassed her (by far) and looks extremely healthy. I think I may move the plant out of the enclosure. It's a big plant and maybe after it's gotten treatment it will improve but I'm not sure it's worth the risk. It's spaced pretty far from everything else but still. Has me worried. I was reading that like 90 something percent of cannabis coming from California is infected with a virus. Don't remember where I read it but it wad a reputable source that was cited. Looks like I'm not doing ethos outdoors again. I may do some indoor this winter if external things come

The plant is drinking over 3 gallons of water every day. I’ve lowered the PPM’s to 600. Everything seems to be ok now. I will try to change the reservoir water every 5 days from now on. She started to smell amazing! Very lemony 🍋 P.S. Lowerd the TDS to 550 PPM on day 46. Also just realized that I stressed my plan with to much light. I moved the light at 13” and dimmed to 95% ... I will continue to dim it 2% every day...

They were both fed today with 1.15 liters of approximately 6.10 ph balanced water with the following nutrients: Growth science, big bud and extra cal mag! They have all shown signs of recovery with new growth sites having no signs of cal mag issues or any other deficiencies. Gorilla cookies did amazing with topping, her neighbor not so much and I will definitely not top the Afghan kush from fast buds next time. New gravity fed watering system installed today! Until next time!

Hey Friends, end of week 11 from seed ☺️ Not much has changed this week in the growth of plant #2. I noticed some orange on the leaf tips. This can be due to overfeeding nutrients or because I recently ran into a problem with my Ph meter, it broke so I had to purchase one at a local Hydroponics store, different model so it was giving me different readings. For example, after adding nutrients to the water, ph would read 4.5 - 5.0, with the old ph meter I would add 10 drops of ph up and it would rise to 6.0 - 6.2, with the new ph meter it goes down to 4.2 when adding nutrients and I need around 20-30 drops to bring the ph up to 6.0 +. The old ph meter was less expensive I purchased it for $15, and the new ph meter cost me about $60. I guess the new one gives me the correct reading. The plant was used to the old feeding dosage now it just needs to adapt to the new feeding. Noticed some of the top leaves had curls so I lowered light intensity. An increase in red stems so ill keep lowering the light to avoid too much strees Colas are growing in width Smell is slowly getting stronger, not sure what strain it could be but it looks and smells like cookies and og. No amber trichomes yet, maybe there is some already but its not very noticeable yet QUESTIONS How long before flushing?

420Fastbuds FBT2307/Harvested These 3 got the chop this past week and Wow are they beautiful. Over all these plants grew relatively easy and resistant to pest and mold I'd say is strong as it never presented itself. They all turned purple/reddish at the end of flower and saying they smell pungent would be an under statement. The flowers are simi dense with trichs all over. Smells sweet/fruity with hints of earthiness. A total wet weight for all three came to 1,088. I ended up trying out a nug smasher mini with one if the plants and all I can say for a first time ever pressing anything what a blast it was. Would highly recommend this strain for rosin as I got about 20% return on flower to rosin. All in all fun to grow, beautiful smelling flowers, and high yields so what more could one ask for. Happy Growing

Good day, everyone!! So my DO Si Dos lady flowering time going well. I light the plant for 12 hours and feed it every day with 2L . The smell is perfect for me - northern scent of mint, citron and some pine aromas. Serious aroma= always good High effect, less stone. I think next week will be the last and I will prepare the plant for harvesting. Thanks Royal Queen for the genetic :)
