Typing

The Fruity Donutz ladies started blooming a few days ago. And with the bloom, they vigorously grew in height as well. Unlike last grow I now stopped with the Alga Grow in time so there's no sign of Nitrogen burn, just really abundant growth. The nematodes are doing their job in the soil and the black fly polulation is slowly decreasing 🎉 . The plants do not stretch as much as I feared so I'm going to let them grow without LST. The branches are naturally filling up the empty space in the GTools so I'll let nature follow it's course (as long as the course leads to rock hard buds obviously 😅). Stay tuned for more pics and updates later this week ✌️😊 🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update Since the Fruity Donuts were stretching like crazy. The top leafs started showing signs of light stress and I had to think of a solution. One was supercropping the plants, but it felt like a bad idea. HST also has an impact on the plant growth, and both ladies are blooming now. I couldn't raise my light any higher because of the suspension system, but after a good vape I took a closer look at the clips and came up with an idea. By directly hooking the clips to the top of the GTools I got at least another 15cm of extra vertical space 🙌 . Now the plant has enough space to gorw a little bigger and the buds are safe from lightburn.

Week 1 of flower, pics and video taken on day 6. Lollipopped everything beneath the scrog 3 days ago. All 4 plants are looking healthy and happy.

This girl is moving along. Thinking she will start to ripen up in the next couple weeks. I switched my photos to 12/12 today so she will be getting the same light. Watering her twice a day about a cup each time. The aroma still bursts like fresh lemons. Excited to taste this girl and even more excited to run one of these on a proper grow in a dutch bucket next round.

Day 33 - Removed the First set of leaves. (Single finger leaves) Watered when dry (about 4-5 days between watering now, due to the topping/cloning). Will either need to be watered with nutrients soon, or root pruned + fresh soil.

You can really see how the lights shine in comparison to my older ones. The brightness of the leds is next level and I can use their V1 spectrum from seed to harvest. Its a great balance of red and blue in a full spectrum light. The medic grow mini sun 2 is a all purpose light that I can see myself getting lots of use out of in the future. Plus they fit in my tent just as snug as my last ones and that's a big thing for me, I don't like dim corners. I am using the lights at 80% dim level. this will be raised to 100% when they enter flower :D First time useing lights I can dim. they also have an onboard timer attached to them, I will be playing aorund with this to see if its something I want to use in the coming weeks, I all ready have all the external timers so I can see how this is a useful tool for anyone starting off without them. On top of all this I also transplanted my plants into their final pots. they went from a .7-.8L to a 2gal or 7.5L, all the root balls on the plants where perfect, nice white roots, maybe a bit compacted for the size and might explain why I am having some issues with them but healthy none the less. I think they will not start to grow a bit better and I will see less issues moving forward. I still have yet to get a new PH pen but I am blindly guessing the PH by adding 2 drops of phosphoric acid ph down per 1gal of feed solution. it seems to be working out just fine. Week 14 Day 92 | 21/07/2022: I think these girls are ready! But I will still wait until the end of the week to cut them down together with the other two. Although I am thinking of cutting down one of two stems to start drying some early.. I'll see Day 93 | 22/07/2022: No time today Day 94 | 23/07/2022: Watered the girls today with just 1.5L of water. The temperatures have dropped thankfully so it's not too hot for them now. I've also decided to cut down one stem from Jackie to start drying it early. Since we're gonna be moving I wanted a little bit to dry beforehand. Day 95 | 24/07/2022: The girls definitely look like they need to be harvested right now. Just a few days left! Day 96 | 25/07/2022: The leaves have gone purple! I think that's because they are way over-ripe ;D Although I must say the buds are more on the smaller side... Also I decided not to water them anymore so they can dry up a bit before harvest in 3 days! Day 97 | 26/07/2022: Day 98 | 27/07/2022: Day 99 | 28/07/2022: Today was the big day! (for the girls and for myself) So the only thing I did was tidied up the foliage by removing all the fan leaves, cutting the girls at the base and handing them in the tent. I find that the remaining leaves really help keep the moisture at a higher level and they tend to smell less like hay. I will be leaving the girls to dry for about 10 days, and then I always put them into glass jars to cure! I would have ideally harvested these girls earlier but maybe this will make it a super strong smoke. Can't wait to smoke (vape) them!

This strain was a pleasure to grow! It was a strong, the most spectacular plant from the group. Always stepping up. The pheno was very resillient, growth was very fast and first pistils showed up after two weeks. Little neglected her when the stretch phase started - didn’t tie her down enough so she got a bit leggy (78cm tall) so there wasn’t really even canopy. And halfway through the flowering Magnesium deficiency or a lockout occured and never found a good solution to fix that. What Ive read Kushes need very large amounts of Ca&Mg during the flowering, and might be that 3:1 ratio of Ca:Mg had a synergism and decreased availability due the excess of other. Still managed to get some massive main colas. And can’t say enough how pleased I’m the colors! This plant growth was simply art.

Day 86, 5th of December 2020: Craziest group I have ever had... Honestly I just want to see the end. I will be away for 2 weeks almost. Original Sensible Seeds ladies are dope. Gelato is very nice proper shape one of my favourite she is just nice and not problematic.... :) Runtz Gum is amazing nice big buds are on the way really nice! The same no problem with her at all!!!! Do-Si-Dos OG is just crazy.... She is not an easy lady... problematic... never met a plant like this one. ... Too much strech and now I need to tie and stand her up somehow i broke one branch.... I put a tape arounf so hopefully saves that bud tho....🤣 Her flowers kill her lol Black Ghost OG is sweet and good girl she is the easiest player from them she is good for begginners similar to Wedding Gelato even is shape haha.... Wedding Gelato from RQS is just perfect no problem with her at all... good for begginners as well... :) So This is how it is 5th week has started I just wanna get it done really long journey :) The lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week.
