Time to change the period...

This is exactly the 🇲🇦 morroccan 🇲🇦 way of sifting resin from kief. Traditionally, apart the hand rubbing method, dry sifting through a mesh is the most used way to obtain resin, from 🇦🇫 Afghanistan 🇦🇫 or 🇳🇵Nepalese 🇳🇵 Mountains to 🇲🇦 Morocc 🇲🇦 Rif passing through Bekaa valley in 🇱🇧Lebanon 🇱🇧. The average size of meshes used vary from 90 to 180 microns and are mostly made by silk and for this reason uneven. I think the most productive ways to sift are Dry Ice and  rotating pollinator + CO2, I've tried a DIY pollinator built by a friend and it can reach up to 20/25% of resin extracted at 120 microns and 15% at 90 microns. But smell and taste don't reach that traditionally extracted but this is another story. Morroccan way is good compromise between a stashbox or more evolute methods. It requires less than 10 dollar of expenses. You need: a basin or pot  without handles a heavy-duty plastic bag that contains the basin a pair of chopsticks a good 120 microns net an elastic band tape Kif or trim q.s. Super Orange Haze: This beauty really seems to be doing quite well. The buds are starting to fatten up, and there's frost everywhere. Some orange pistils, but it's few and far inbetween at this point. I was increasingly aggressive with pruning this week chopping off flower producing stalks that looked like they weren't fattening up like the others in an attempt to get this thing down to 6-10 main colas. She seems to be handling it like a champ, and I think at this point I'm done with pruning until it comes time for harvest with the exception of the occasional fan leaf blocking a bud site. As a total newbie, I'm thinking we're about 3-4 weeks from harvest, and I can hardly wait! She smells like candy, and when I prune her scent gets all over my hands and I smell it for hours later. I hope she tastes 1/10th of how amazing she smells! Creme de la Chem: Well, let this be a lesson to everyone about the importance of early pruning and training. She's a plain old mess, and she's gotten into the lights. I've been bending stalks over which results in super cropping, and I've been tangling them all together sometimes on purpose, sometimes on accident. I'm just trying everything I can think of to keep her from roasting, but nothing is working. She's just doomed to be a complete and unmanageable mess. She's producing flowers, and appears to be about 2 weeks behind the Super Orange Haze. I'm hoping to just get 4 or 5 good colas that don't end up bleached and withered by the lights at this point. My next grow will be way more controlled! RDWC stuff: I swapped her water out last week, so still running with what I've got at the moment. I'm out of RO, so I've been adding hard tap water when they need a top off and then nutrients in the ratios listed until PPM is at around 1000-1100. I've been rotating in ice packs and trying a few other things like added insulation to the top of my grow sites in an effort to keep water temps under 70 at all times. I've experienced limited success in this as you can see by the temperature chart for underwater. The big dip you see early in the week is the reservoir change I did (last week's update was late, not on Sunday like normal).

Plant grew a lil to close to the light. Caused a lil purpleing and burning. Plant also ran almost ran out of water so plant got hungry started getting yellow spots. Moved light to the top of the tent hopefully the stretch is done. Plant is still trying to bud so im hoping everything is still fine.

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Summary: Cost of setup: 850 euro Cost of nutrients and soil: 125 euro Cost of seeds: None they were cloned Cost of power: 150 euros in the power bill Total cost: 1125,-- for setup and this run. I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Overall conclusion: I think we can call this a succes. Made back my investment, my cost per grow and we saved the environment. Thanks for all the love, tips and support! And last but not least, the Aficionado French Connection Rosso Corsa. She sprouted 5 Days later then the Cookies but she's catching up. i'm really curious about this strain:) i'll keep you guy's updated

Week 4 begins for LSD, the good trip continues! Lots of nice bud sites developing and she has a somewhat sweet aroma. Removed some larger leaves and some yellowing one's. Overall plant looks great. I also increased feeding to 5 liters. Thanks for looking 👽🔥🌳

Hey guys, The week went pretty smoothly and flowers are starting building up. I'll soon introduce Bloombastic for 10 days, increasing from 0.5 to 1.5 ml per liter. Other than that, this phenotype are bringing out some gorgeous color, and they are starting to smell. Now she's finally alone in the tent so I hope she will build up a little more. Giorni 28 Che spettacolo di odori!!! Le Rainbow sono lime/zkittlez/uva e ti impregnano le mani e ti viene voglia di staccarle e fumarle ora. Le due Pink sanno di gas/pesca (una mi ricorda l'erba più buona che ho mai fumato e cioè l' Oz Kush). Anche se una ha avuto problemi e l'ho dovuta sciacquare (#2) ora sembra stare meglio anche se alzando i fertilizzanti il colore è ancora un po' giallo. Le tre Barbara'Pie posso solo dire anche qui frutta allo stato puro ma con qualcosa ancora che non riesco a capire. Due sono molto simili l'altra è più cicciotta. La Baker Delight piena di resina e odora leggermente di biscotti ma è la pianta più indietro di tutte. Ci vediamo settimana prossima e ricorda di spendere il tuo tempo nella ricerca del seme e che nessuno ti regala niente di buono 😏

Weirdo is at it again. Seems to me like she is in her final phase. Most of the leaves dying back buds starting to fall over but still a little immature🤷‍♂️ the other girl has a few weeks it seems but weirdo could be within the week. Ambers are starting to appear on the lower flowers. I am a little underwhelmed with her progress this week. I took a lower sample to evaluate things a little better. Plant two is moving along. Both plants cut their water demand down🤷‍♂️ After inspecting the sample, i notice alot of amber, mostly cloudy, with a few still clear, trichomes. I dont think she is ready as the buds are still developping new bracts. Hold out for a day or two, and go from there

Lovely looking plants for week 8 of flower from the plants of 11/20

The stretch has started. We are on day 7 since I flipped to 12 12 light schedule. 12/28/2017 was the day we started the lights on 12 hours. I did let her sit in 24 hours of darkness which she seemed to do fine in. I have had to top off the resovouir twice she is a thirsty girl. No stress signs from the increase in nutrients. I will be lowering the amount given after a few day flush in the next week. I only increase for the transition this was something I was shown a few years back by another grower and has not let me down. I will stick to the flora trio by GH. I do not add anything else like bud fatteners as some people call them. I am a firm believer they are not needed. This is just my opinion on the matter.

This was my first coco coir grow. Also the first grow i did not neglect in anyway. This grow was a handfull but dedicating time to your garden pays off!! I got 1371 grams of 3 autoflowers Zkittlez: 324 FBT29: 495 Forgotten Cookies: 552 Under 500 watts thats 2.74 grams per watt!
