Thanks to Seedsman for the idea of a 420 grow-off and the chance to try some of the latest and greatest. Anyway, started some Blueberry Pie F1 Fast seeds from Seedsman today. Very promising sounding genetics, and I’m very keen to see how she goes. Hopefully we won’t get as much wildfire smoke as we did last year. The plan for this plant is a 16 cola manifold with force flowering (12 h darkness) starting in late July for a couple of weeks. Starting in a glass of water on a heat mat at 25 C. Kept in dark using foil. I’ve decided to avoid plastic for the seed starting. Also, based on a science paper I saw this winter, I’m leaving a ripe apple in the dark with the seeds. Apparently the ethylene gas helps, but only in the dark before light is applied. Tried it with tomato and pepper plants and seems to work. First time trying with my cannabis seeds. Will add the reference to the paper some day. Apr 22: moved into soil. Starting three seeds but I only have room for one plant. Will adopt out the other two. Apr 25: removed foil cover (and apple) and set the plants beside the light that is going for tomatoes and peppers. The seedlings need minimal light at this stage so taking it easy. Spiderfarmer humidifier got my 2x4 dialed in almost immediately. If it performs this well over time I'd recommend it greatly. Had some trouble with light burn because I briefly cranked up my light and uv at the same time lol. I stopped that. Thinking about flowering soon. If anyone sees this, what do you think?

Cut the light cycle down to 16 hours because I got a photo period running alongside her, she's looking great aside from few sickly leaves each day trichomes are getting frostier and darker 😆😆can't wait.

Well, the drought stress in week 11 really fucked my plants up, but Twiggy recovered, while Zoey was hurt pretty bad. If I did nothing, I'm betting harvest would've been 25% more, and Zoey's buds wouldn't look so crappy, but overall, I was so happy with this grow! I was under a time crunch, so only did minimal veg for 4 weeks, topping once. Daily watering with 1.8EC mix that was pretty consistent. Kept pH between 5.5 and 5.8. Kept tight control on humidity and temperature up to mid flower, then kept air circulation on to keep room humidity around 55% Things I'd do differently: 1. Veg longer - I'd love to try a mainline 2. Canopy control - wish I had spent the time on a SCROG screen, or at least a couple of rings. 3. More light sooner into flower. Waited about 4 weeks into flower before maxing out the light. Probably could've bulked them up significantly if I started earlier 4. Drought stressing - For Fucks Sake, keep a close eye on your plants, and the minute they start to wilt, get the water back on 'em!!! 5. Measure your run-off more frequently for salt build-up. Didn't have any problems, but it's a good best practice. 6. Set up proper closed-loop environment to allow for CO2 enrichment. 7. Set up a clone environment before you get to flower. Oops. Things I was happy with: 1. VPD control system (heat, humidity) during veg and early flower worked flawlessly. Never any nute burn, and super healthy plants. 2. Sterilized soil and grow-room before starting - never had a single bug or any mold/mildew issues. Used a MERV 13 filter on the air intake, exhaust through carbon to crawlspace. 3. Coco/perlite mix - super drainage, low build-up, very healthy roots. 4. Power meter - neat way to measure what's really going into the grow, so when your wife complains about power usage, you can show her the real numbers. 5. Photone app on Android S20 - Knew where my PPFD was for optimal growth control. 6. REX-C100 PID controller for toaster oven - super tight temperature control comes in handy for decarbing as well as toasting oak for moonshine.

The roots of my plants are growing incredibly, I will move on to the flowering period in the 3rd week.

This plant has a lot of history, because she started to bloom really really early on November 2022, but with no more than 3 cm 🙀 with some week of flowering, then she started to get on the vegetative phase again. After some week of vegetative phase, on Feb she started to bloom.. A sativa plant that took lots of week to finish his cycle of flowering... The wait was worth it.😈

We’re now fully in production mode!🔥 The stretch is definitely done, and she’s putting all her energy into bud development. The trichomes are multiplying nicely, and the smell is becoming more and more intense, fresh lemon with a subtle sweet twist.🍋🍬 The bud structure is quite different from what I’m used to, more airy and elongated, kind of sativa-like. Curious to see how this one finishes up. Still healthy, still cruising, let’s see what next week brings!

Absolutely LOVE this strain. She has only been curing for a little over a week but I had to try her. She is one of the 3 most potent strains I have ever consumed, tastes like grapes on the inhale, and then on the exhale it tastes like a classic chemdawg, piney and gassey. You will feel the effects by the time you finish exhaling. I lover her so much I am going to run her back after I take a little break to travel. The only thing I regret with this grow is that I used much too small of a final container. No fault of the genetics, it was all me. I will run her back in a 12.5 gallon container and see what happens. My goal is to run 2 photoperieods every year, and get a Kilogram off each plant. Might be somewhat ambitious but I enjoy challenging myself and improving. I cannot wait to squeeze this lady, but I want to give her a few more weeks in the jars first. I will post some videos down the line. If anyone wants a quick pound or two of some potent ass indica leaning flower, this is your girl. I honestly don't know how I could even bring myself to grow another autoflower after smoking this lady.....She blows every auto I ever grew out of the water.

Day 68. She’s bulking so hard. The trichomes are getting cloudy. She prolly has one more week and I can get her to flush. I’m very proud of how she has progressed. They got salt water. They got their ph thrown off. Finally got it under control and she’s looking like a chonk. Super stoked on her. Can’t wait to start the new testers.

Couple got a little burn I think maybe a little too much soil in there with the coco on top of the light feed? I got all the final pots filled up today they will go in 3 gal bags either today or tmm. It's a Greentree pro ultra coco/perlite mixed with some roots organic soil about 70/30.

Beginning of week 6 and all is still good. She’s got some nice big frosty nugs on her all over the place. She stretched out more then my other 3 obi-wan so her buds are more spread out then the other indica dominated plants around her. Hers are the frostiest nugs of them all though, even got a bunch of her guard leaves covered in tricombs. Loving this girl so far in this setup, I’ve done her before in a smaller tent under cheap Led lights in DWC and got good results, but this girl is knocking it outside the park so far for ease of growing it and what she produces no matter how you grow her.
