Grow4ever I also mixed the soil accordingly here. This is really something very special, a great pheno of the GSC. I'm super excited for the run! I'm very curious to see how my new soil plan will turn out.

Grow4ever Update after repotting. Unfortunately, I didn't consider one thing while mixing the soil. My coconut soil was not adequately buffered. Too much potassium and correspondingly little Cal/Mag, which was completely drawn out by the coconut fibers. You can see clear leaf symptoms. Thanks to an attentive comment (see below), I quickly noticed my mistake and have been watering with 0.5ml/L BioBizz Cal/Mag and additionally using Epsom salt for a faster correction of the K,Ca,Mg ratio. The very next day, I noticed a significant improvement. Honestly, the ionic balance really made me sweat. But now I'm relieved and very curious to see how my soil composition stabilizes over the next week.

Grow4ever A few days away and then such bushes in the tent. That meant today it was time to defoliate and set up the SCROG net. This morning, I first watered with a load of Cal/Mag and a bit of algamic, and hung the light higher. This evening, I went straight to defoliating, since to be honest, I won't find much time this week otherwise. Now they should recover and fit into the SCROG. The GSC is by far the beast in the tent, incredible growth!

Grow4ever The flowering has been initiated. Everyone is doing really well so far, and the canopy is nicely filled again, so I’ll defoliate again around day 20. In the last two watering rounds, I slowly started adding fertilizer with BioBizz BioBloom. I want to support the flowering with part of the BioBizz range in reduced amounts, along with a homemade Fermakor from @yan420. It’s a chemically derived organic-mineral hydrolysate that is significantly more stable and concentrated than a ferment but contains biologically available amino acids, fatty acids, and phosphates. I really have to be careful with the dosage here. The huge advantage of Fermakor is that the nutrients potassium and phosphorus are already directly available to the plants. Since I mostly work organically with LZD, as I said, it’s for support for fat buds. I'm very curious about the test and thanks again to Yan for sending it for free! Be sure to check out his recipe, it’s really interesting.

Grow4ever The Girl Scout Cookies has been progressing overall inconspicuously and steadily over the past week. Initial flowering or pre-flowering signs are present, indicating that it is also transitioning into the early flowering phase. In contrast to the other plants, it has not shown any significant stretch so far. The height growth has remained moderate, and the internode lengths have hardly changed. This allows the plant to maintain its previous structure.

Grow4ever Happy New Year! 🎆 After a week away, I came back today to these really nice dense bushes and already somewhat developed buds, the watering went great. However, I immediately noticed a pest infestation, impossible to miss... Accordingly, I started defoliating afterwards, we're on day 20 of flowering. Especially with the GSC, as the infestation originated from her. I ordered some predatory mites today and I hope that with the heavy defoliation, the three can still make it through flowering well.

Grow4ever Flowering is progressing. The predatory mites Amblyseius (Neoseiulus) cucumeris arrived quickly 🙏 I hope they keep the thrips infestation under control until the end of flowering. So far, I can't say much about the terps, everything is very subtle. Additionally, the plants received Fermakor hydrolysate as a bloom booster for the first time in very low concentrated doses. Thanks again to @yan420. I'm expecting a metabolic boost from the direct availability of nutrients P and K and the amino acids. I'm very curious about the final results as always.

Grow4ever The GSC really produces very beautiful dark and sweet-smelling buds. I'm really worried about thrips infestation with her, I might remove or wash a bud at harvest.

Grow4ever I think I'm close to harvest. The spider mites are getting too tricky for me, I don't want to cut anymore. There's already a really nice sweet smell in the tent, and I'm really looking forward to the buds!

I'm curious about the pheno. Let me know if this coco is well-buffered. I've only had bad experiences with different cocos when I didn't use Canna Coco. I've been growing in soil for about 8 years now, so I think a lot has changed since then. I'm really curious. Cheers and good luck with this lady!

@Stony_German, I don't need a clone from a breeder, I use the F1 hybrid seeds from the real cross. From the plants that come from seeds, you can then make clones. I always make clones as a backup in case something goes wrong during the grow. These Thin Mint clones I have here in Berlin can be taken by other people or I can just flower them myself later. Nowadays, I often see people sending clones by mail. They survive a few days well-packaged. The advantage of these clones here is that they are real, you can see the mother plants they come from, and you get real info from someone who actually knows the plant. There's no deception and no risk of getting ripped off. Mint is one of the rarest and most sought-after flavors in cannabis, so it's really smart to keep clones of it.

@The_Wanderer, Of course, when you have space or the opportunity. I've had some phenos myself where the Heru bled. OK, you can still preserve the genetics with reveg, but like I said, who has space for that? I always enjoy exchanging experiences with growers. We all learn something new with every grow, and this platform is just perfect for that. Unfortunately, I only dared to show anything a year before our mini-legalization. Driver's license - paranoia or cops - PTSD. 😄 Luckily, we always harvest exactly 49.9g. 😏😉

@Stony_German, They can't bother you if you're just transporting propagation material in the car, right? Three clones = definitely no DUI 🤣

Hey, I'm growing the original myself and will be harvesting in a few weeks, mid-January. We used to call it Thin Mint because the plant smells like mint during the flowering stage. And it has a slight minty taste that even gives a cooling effect when exhaling. The "Girl Scouts" were a club, and the girls sold cookies to raise money. One of the strains was called Thin Mint. A mint cookie with a chocolate coating. Your version looks quite different. Good luck with your grow, and enjoy the great mint scent while you're working in the garden! 🌱 growdiaries.com/shorts/341816
