Time for the final big makeover.šŸŒ±šŸŒž Start of the week came with the last major structural work in the tent this run. Day 22 defo was the perfect moment to go through the girls properly and catch any deficiencies early. Luckily nothing was found.šŸ§‘ā€šŸŒ¾ We stripped them hard and cleared out the entire lower third , full lollipop mode. From here on out they can put all their energy into stacking fat, dense buds. Tallest girl is at 100 cm right now. Sweet berry terps are already coming through, which is a great sign this early in flower. EC: 1.5 VPD: 1.1–1.4kpa Irrigation remains at twice per week, but volume was reduced to 3 L this round due to heavy defoliation and reduced transpiration.šŸ’¦ We’ll leave them without the net for a bit to recover. Then will decide if the SCROG goes back on or if we open up the lower canopy in another way to improve light penetration. PeaceāœŒļøšŸ’Ø

For my first run I am happy with my results even though the yield was very low . The banana cake is frosty and has a great nose on it . The bud has white ash and overall it tastes great . I will be doing another grow soon and Im going switch it up . Going to be a great next grow so don’t miss it .

Skywalker OGs continues to live up to the name. What started as a compact, promising plants has now turned into one of those runs that quietly earns respect week after week. Dense flowers, heavy frost, strong stacking, and far more weight than expected from her frame. She never needed to be the tallest plant in the room to become one of the most impressive. She simply did what great plants do — stayed consistent, stayed efficient, and let quality build over time. This is what happens when stable genetics meet a stable room. 12/12 from seed. Controlled environment. Steady feedings. Minimal stress. No chasing. No overcorrection. Just rhythm, patience, and letting the plant do what it was built to do. And now we’re entering the final phase. The plant has done the work. From here forward, the goal is not to push harder. The goal is to finish cleaner. That means no more nutritional feeding from this point on. From here until harvest, she receives only water and enzymes. Not because she is lacking. Because she is done building. At this stage, continuing to push nutrients often does more harm than good. Nitrogen is no longer needed in quantity, phosphorus demand slows, and excess minerals in late flower rarely translate into better flowers. More often, they delay senescence, slow the natural finish, and leave the plant focused on processing surplus instead of completing ripening. By removing nutrients now, we stop asking the plant to keep producing and allow it to begin finishing. That shift matters. This is where the plant starts relying on what it has already stored. Mobile nutrients begin moving. Fan leaves begin fading. Internal reserves begin being used. The plant starts consuming itself exactly the way it was designed to at the end of its cycle. That fade is not a problem to correct. It is the signal that the plant has entered the final metabolic stage. And this is exactly where enzymes become useful. From here on, Pure Zym stays in the water for one reason: cleanup. No more feeding the plant directly. Now we feed the medium. Enzymes help break down dead root material, leftover organic residue, and unused matter in the substrate. That keeps the rhizosphere cleaner, keeps the medium biologically active, and helps the plant access what is still available in a softer, more natural way without adding fresh nutritional load. At this point, enzymes are less about ā€œfeedingā€ and more about support. They help the medium stay functional. They help the root zone stay clean. They help the plant finish without unnecessary buildup. Simple in practice, but very useful in late flower. The same logic applies above the canopy. We are also beginning to reduce light intensity slightly for the final stretch. Not dramatically. Not enough to stall development. Just enough to begin easing the plant into the end of its cycle. Less demand. Less stress. Less need to force photosynthetic output when the plant is no longer focused on expansion. This is less about reducing production and more about reducing pressure. In nature, the final weeks do not arrive with increasing intensity. They arrive softer. Shorter days. Lower energy. A slower rhythm. So we mirror that where we can. Slightly lower PPFD. Slightly less metabolic pressure. A gentler finish. The goal now is not to make her grow more. The goal is to help her mature better. That includes the visual changes now beginning to show. Fading is starting. Still early. Still light. Nothing dramatic yet. But it is coming. And that is exactly what we want to see. The green will slowly begin to recede. Stored nutrients will continue to move. Colors will shift. Uptake will slow. Water demand will eventually begin to drop. And the plant will tell us, clearly, when it is ready. Right now they are still drinking well — around 1.4L per day — which tells us they are still actively working, still metabolically engaged, and not yet at the true end. That number should begin tapering in the coming weeks. When it does, the plant is telling us the finish line is close. Until then, we watch. We do not force. We do not rush. We let the plant speak first. Room conditions remain largely unchanged because they have worked, and there is no reason to reinvent what already functions. 26°C day 18°C night 60% RH ~21°C solution ~22°C substrate Strong airflow ~1000 ppm COā‚‚ Stable, predictable, repeatable. That consistency is part of why this run has gone the way it has. The only real changes now are in the feed itself. EC is down to nearly nothing. TDS sits around 0.2. Only enzymes in solution. And pH is no longer being adjusted. At this stage, with no real nutrient load in the mix, there is very little to correct. The water blend — rainwater and dehumidifier water — lands naturally around 6.8–7.0, and in this final phase that is more than acceptable for what we are asking the plant to do. We are no longer trying to optimize aggressive nutrient uptake. We are simply maintaining hydration, root function, and a clean finish. Different phase. Different goal. Different logic. And she smells exactly like she looks. Strong. Loud. Room-filling. The kind of plant that announces itself before you even touch it. She has entered that stage now — where aroma stops being a trait and starts becoming presence. And honestly, Skywalker OG has been one of the most pleasant surprises of the run. Not because she demanded attention. Because she earned it. Quietly. Consistently. Without drama. Without excess. Just dense, frosted, honest flowers built week after week under stable conditions. Exactly the kind of plants that reminds you why simplicity still wins. Big thanks to Zamnesia for the genetics. Plagron for keeping the medium and inputs consistent. And GrowDiaries for giving growers a place to document the process properly. And to everyone following along — old names, new names, quiet supporters, loud supporters, long-time growers, first-time growers, lovers, lurkers, doubters and believers alike — respect. There’s room for everyone here. See you in the next week. We pulled the girls last week at about 10% amber, we typically go longer but are eager to get the veg space back ...It was a very underwhelming yield (approximately 50 grams from 2 plants) but it smells/smokes absolutely beautiful...I'm not disappointed having 2oz of something this nice on the side to break the routine...I would never grow these indoors again however i'm not disappointed that we tried them out ...

This is it last week. I am going to give her the chop in a day or 2 I am going to not give her anymore water. As you can see, the buds are super heavy. This plant has been an amazing grow, because of the mutation and how the fan leaves are, it really showcases how beautiful the buds are, themselves.. really looking forward to this one big shout out big.Thank you too @Grow4releaf because this would not be possible without him... God bless everybody and happy growing! Next update will be the chop

Ok week 5 veg. I usually just let the plants grow through the trellis net. This time I tried a little bit of everything. I did a fairly big trim on leaves. I tied down branches with twist ties and then lowered the trellis net overtop. I may have gone a little overboard. But looking at other peoples diary’s I am seeing a lot of techniques being used so I will giver a shot. Trial and error. **Update** Plants growing up through trellis nicely. After tie down and trim.

~ AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow System sponsored by GrowAce, featuring Strawberry Gorilla Auto by FastBuds ~ Well guy's and gal's here we go again on another exciting Autoflower run together! This time will be different as I will be doing a 'Hydroponic' run utilizing the AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow System by GrowAce, who were kind enough to sponsor me for this run, so it should be interesting to see what results I get and have some fun along the way! •Let me first tell you about this 6 Pot Ebb/Flow system from GrowAce: "The AirCube system is the one and only Ebb & Flow grow system on the market that combines the benefits of air pruning with a fully automated Ebb+Flow system! With the AirCube's proprietary fabric pot in bucket design, this system is guaranteed to outgrow any other Ebb + Flow system on the market. The results speak for themselves- grow MASSIVE roots that result in MASSIVE fruits! Air Pruning- Air Pruning only happens with fabric pots. As the roots reach the fabric walls of the pot, they penetrate and grow into the breathable fabric. Once penetrated, the roots are exposed to air, which causes the tips of the root to dehydrate and naturally prune themselves. This natural pruning process forces the roots to grow tons of lateral fibrous feeder roots. This results in a plant that utilizes the entire root zone and fills the entire pot with tons of roots. These fibrous feeder roots are incredibly effective in uptaking water and nutrients, resulting in a plant that grows healthier and more vigorously! Oxygen Benefits- Without oxygen, nutrient absorption cannot occur. On a molecular level, oxygen is needed to transmit nutrients across the cell walls and into the roots of a plant. With the AirCube's proprietary bottom lifted draining design, the system actively draws all of the water out of the bucket pulls vital oxygen into the root zone. Maximum Versatility with Any Grow Medium: The AirCube System is the only system on the market that allows you to use any growing medium you like. Use coco coir, soil, peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, hydroton, rockwool or any other medium you wish! This system is the most versatile Ebb and Flow bucket system in today's hydroponics industry. Temperature Control- with the fabric pots constructed with highly porous polypropylene fabric, heat dissipates easily and effectively. Unlike standard plastic pots, heat isn't trapped in the root zone. Heat in standard plastic containers can reach temperatures of up to 125 degrees. When this type of heat is trapped and unable to escape, it can damage your plant's health and limit the potential of your harvest. Growing in the AirCube System, plant roots grow cooler, healthier, and more vigorous. Largest Pots in its Class- this system features 5 Gallon grow buckets, the largest pot size of any other ebb and flow hydroponic system in the market. Modular and Expandable- start with 6 grow buckets and expand up to 36 grow buckets with the optional 105 gallons PopTank reservoir!" For my medium and nutrients I decided to also switch things up from my regular Organic runs, going with Plagron Nutrients and Root Royale 70/30 Coco/Perlite. When filling the fabric pots with medium, I first added just under a gallon of horticulture perlite from Nor-Cal as a base layer to ensure good drainage and then filled the remainder with the Root Royale. •Now for one of my favorites, and award winning strain from my friends at FastBuds... Strawberry Gorilla Auto: I'll be running Strawberry Gorilla Autoflower which is a 55/45 Sativa/Indica Hybrid. "ATTENTION ALL! Due to our continuous efforts in evolving our breeding process, we are proud to confirm that our Strawberry Gorilla Auto has now become one of the most potent autoflowers in the world! Paving the way to our recent success where she ranked on top & brought home the gold at the very first American Autoflower Cup in California. Moreover, she proved that not only modern autoflowers can compete with photoperiods, but they can even beat them in their field. At the most recent edition of the Farmer’s Cup and competing against various photoperiodic strains, Strawberry Gorilla Auto took home the title of 'Highest Combined Terpenes' in the highly sought-after 'Home Grow Hash' category, with an impressive 97.163 mg/g total terpene content! Our exceptional genetic selection's crowning Strawberry Gorilla Auto strain is a spectacular hybrid known for producing yields of up to 600 gr/m2 in 70 days. This is a very manageable grow that can reach heights of up to 150 cm - due to its magnitude we recommend it for more experienced growers, as a huge plant may be a little overwhelming for first-timers. This show stopping sativa heavy hybrid is perfect as an all day smoke, producing a taste bud tingling, pungent berry and diesel terpene-rich flavor combo that leaves you with a grin from ear to ear, a perfect choice for those looking for a day-and-night autoflower! I'm continuing to flush all three and the #1 and #2 pheno's are really getting some beautiful coloration! The #3 plant that has struggled the entire run is so pale she almost looks white, but she's the terpiest of the three, which I think is due to the stresses that she's been under. All three cultivars are covered in frost, and on the #1 and #2 pheno's the trichomes even cover their shade leaves! 1/5- After checking the trichomes on all three I decided to begin their 72 hours in the dark when today's light cycle is finished. All three plants have 85-90% milky trichomes with 5% amber showing, and will continue to mature during the 72 hour dark period before they are hung to begin the drying process. 1/8- Well, today is the day! All three Strawberry Gorilla's were released from 3 days in 'darkšŸŒ‘jail' and all three look absolutely gorgeous! šŸ˜ All three Strawberry Gorilla's are loaded with trichomes, and each has its own unique terpene profile with the #3, shockingly the 'loudest' of the trio. The #2 is the best looking of the bunch IMO, with the #1 taking the middle slot. After taking some pic's of all three, I cut them each off at their base and hung them in my AC Infinity 4x4 to dry for 10-14 days. I have the tent equipped with a de-humidifier, humidifier, and a fan to keep the air gently circulating. It's winter here so I'm pulling in outside air into the tent which is keeping the temp's in the 55-60℉ range, and I'm keeping the RH at 50% for the first 24hrs, then I'll up it to 60% for the remainder of the hang time. I hope to see you at the harvest report, I know I can't wait to see how these beauties finish up! šŸ’šGrowers Love! šŸ’š Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Grow what you love, Love what you grow!šŸ’š

WEEK 9 - (04/25/2021 - 05/01/2021) Day 67 (Week 1, Day 1 - FLOWER): 04/25/2021 Today marks the first official day of the flower cycle. Light timer has been adjusted to 12/12. First 12 hour dark period begins at 5 a.m. on the morning of 04/26. I would say 70-75% of the first screen has been filled. ½ strength nutrient feeding today. Glookies #1 gave off a really high ppm reading. Don’t think it was accurate. Tap water: 220ppm, 8.7 pH + HydroGuard: 1ml/gallon = 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 28ml Mixture: 230ppm, 6.2 pH, 68℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1: 1320ppm/1090ppm, 6.7 pH JB#2: 1115ppm/885ppm, 6.5 pH GC#1: 3540ppm (seems too high) GC#2: 2270ppm/2040ppm, pH 6.5 AP#1: 2410ppm/2180ppm, 6.4 pH AP#2: 1600ppm/1370ppm, pH 6.6 Well, the first week of flower is in the books. All but one plant is starting to grow pistils. These plants are getting a little out of control being cramped in this 4x4. I defoliated just before flipping to flower, and they needed another touch-up. I'm a little worried this will cause me to have to do frequent touch-ups or kill one or two plants and create some space. I'm leaning more toward killing 1 or 2 plants, rather than risk all of them getting overly stressed from too many defoliations. I completely underestimated how much these Cannabis plants would grow, especially once they started to stretch. I'm going to start saving the water that is collected through the dehumidifier. The plan is to use this water for the flush in the last 2 weeks of flower. Thanks for dropping in and showing some Aloha, everybody. And remember, don't drink and drive, smoke and fly. See you next week. šŸ™

Not much for this week to report. I was hoping to harvest it in 7-8 weeks of flowering but I dont see it happening. By the look of it in the end of 6th flowering week it will need 3 or more weeks. Almost all pistils are still white but the buds are getting fatter so will be worth the wait.

This girl is looking Amazing! I am so excited to see what this plant produces. Does anyone have any tips on what I should do with this plant as far as should I defoliate or "lollipop" it? I've never gone this far before in a grow of photoperiod!?
