She's staying short & bushy naturally but I still topped & defoliated. I topped and defoliated every plant. I'm trying to form them into canna-bushes. Hopefully I'm doing the correct training procedures to make them all grow that way both indoors and out.

Sep 27: lots of buds remaining and I did a big defoliation to expose the buds to sunlight. Lowered scrog net during the defoliation.

Main cola is getting dense and bigger, but all the other little ones are still pretty small, it will be interesting to see how this one finishes. Gave it a little more worm castings and 2-8-4 this week and will be the last feed it gets, from now on it just gets water ph between 6.2 and 6.8. Will continue some minor defoliation and will try to LST it just for airflow from now until harvest in a couple more weeks.

After flushing multiple times, and checking the ppm of the removed water, I realized how much nutrient build up I was subjecting the plant to. Big lesson learned that I need to add ph’d water without nutrients more often and check the ppm after I mix it back in. Leaves are starting to lighten up from dark green and I noticed very slight deficiency on one or two leaves. Now I’m at 25% nutrient strength and it is starting to grow noticeably faster.

June 21st : Figured I started off last week with a video update So i'd do the same this week. Buds are really fattening up. Making my mouth water when I stare at them. Smell is very strong when the exhaust is off and the tent open. Getting Hot around here lately 106 outside today. Trying my best to keep them cool but it seems like a losing battle. Good thing I have that co2 tank. 🙌 June 22nd : Decided to try out my Digital Microscope tonight see what I could see. WOW am I going to have fun doing Macro Shot's! This is gonna be so much fun! Nothing else done with the plants except some admiration! June 23rd : Didn't have time to get to pictures darn real life. June 24th : Watered tonight as they were showing signs of drooping from under-watering. I expected as much due to the recent 106-111F. Temps around my area lately. Hard to keep them all cool but trying my best. Everything's looking good as far as I can tell. 👌 June 25th : Tried my hand at more closeups boy was it a failure. Gotta turn off those damn fans next time *lol* 3 out of like 40 clicks were "ok". Oh well.. Another day.. June 26th : Had the breaker for the room my tent was in keep tripping after adding the t5 lights to everything that's already on the same circuit.. had to move the ac to another circuit. June 27th : Ended up bumping the timer switch on the lights to always on and ended up giving the girls 18 hours of light. 😭 Praying nothing goes hermie.. FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. This week I repotted into 2 7gal and 1 5gal. I substituted the bio grow for root juice and dropped the cal mag. I also removed some lower leaves to make more room for watering. Feed 1 4ml root juice 1ml top max 2ml bio bloom (1.5L) Feed 2 1ml acti vera 2ml bio heaven (1 L) Feed 3 Alg a mic 4ml (1L).

Was away for 2 weeks so left my girl to water the plant, wanted to do the training myself. Was underwatered a bit and a lil low on calmag and high on other nutes so adjusted the water and just gave a first proper feeding. Defoliated quite a bit, topped her as well and did some LST. Lets hope she recovers fast and is looking better by next week!
