Apple Strudel is finally finishing the stretch. She grew right into the lights of the VGROW so I had to move her into the 24" x 48" x 72" Super closet to finish Flowering. I just did a defoliation and spread her out for better light penetration. Time for her to start packing on some bud! I just update my Grand Daddy Purple diary with dry weight & some pictures. A lot of growth this week, the back right is rather spindly and tall compared to the rest so will need to train her down quite a bit I think. I have some soft ties coming in the post tomorrow so will be doing some extensive LST over the next few days, aiming to spread out taller plants and giving the shorter ones a chance to catch up. I did do some HST this week, but I botched a few up and had to add a splint to one of them. The tall one also has a couple yo-yo supports as she was leaning over a little bit. PH swings are less frequent but do happen from time to time, went as low as 4.7 PH during lights out but doesn’t seem to have affected them. I am determined to have an even canopy by the end of the transition period this time 💪

She is short and compact.tight internodal spacing.large fan leaves. Typical indica looking plant. Cut of 2 big fan leaves and kept lst as much as possible to open her and create more colas.

Lots of good growth this week. Continuing to tie branches down as she grows. Doing 1 last tie down session tonight, and starting a gradual switch from 18/6 to 12/12 accompanied by a gradual lowering of the blue spectrum over the next next week.

Well.. nice start of a new week. Still stretching so today changing water for fresh water. Going to level up the EC from tapwater 0.3 tot 0.7 with CalMag before adding nutrients. Then raising the EC to 2.2 I hope (depending on the PH not dropping below 5.8). Hopefully they will consume less water and therefore stop stretching.. We will just see what happens. Easy to lower EC afterwards and also easy to raise PH. I just have to add some tapwater. 13/7 some shortages and maybe too much light. Reducing time with half an hour daily. Raised EC to 2.3

Wollte ausschließen das zu ein niedrigen Ph wert oder ein zu hoher die Stickstoff Aufnahme gehemmt wurde aber alles im Lot. Deswegen bekommt Sie beim nächsten Gießen ihre Gewünschte Position Futter ohne Bedenken eine Nährstoffsperre zu festigen. So macht Sie sich gut klar sie ist gerade nicht in der Lage Ihr Blattwerk weiter auszubauen geschweige Blüten vernünftig zu bilden. Wanted to rule out that too low a Ph value or too high the nitrogen uptake was inhibited but everything was fine. That's why the next time she is watered she will get her desired position of food without having to worry about consolidating a nutrient barrier. In this way, it makes itself clear that it is not in a position to develop its foliage any further, let alone form flowers properly. It will recover and then it will be back in full swing until then. Turned lights up to 400w

The first week of 12/12 light schedule is over and the stretch is on. Most of these plants are getting huge. I gave each plant a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Upped the maxibloom a little and increased the reservoir volume to 25 gallons since I won't be around to check on them this coming week. I am thinking we should have some pistils popping on the next update. Nutrients are pumping 24 hours a day. Excited to see how these start to frost over the next few weeks.

8/17 Week 5 Flipping Lights set to 11-13 for the first few days then 12-12 Nuets will transition accordingly Took 2 cuttings from her for clones Reducing feeds to once a day during the switch Intro Cocotek Bloom a/b at 5ml/gal each Reduce Grow to 10ml/g each Next feed half and half 8/19 Switching to 12-12 from 11-13 think its done its work changes are afoot 8/20 Colas forming quickly may have to flip the week to Flower, lets hope so 😉 They getting a dose of Kangaroots 5ml/g and Fish Shit 2ml/g at intervals during transition purely as plants seem to need.
