First Grow attempt ever.
1/7/19 - Dropped the seeds in water for 18 hrs to soak then I put the seeds in wet paper towel between two plates and put them in the dark grow tent at 75* F.
for 24 Hrs and all 5 seeds have tap roots 3/8" to 3/4" long. Planted in pots and moisten coco around the seed, turned on led cobs set at 40 inches high, set humidifier to 70% RH and 80*F.
1/11 - 3 seedlings are up before work and the other 2 are up after work. Moisten the coco and rotate the pots around. Temps at 80*F with 70% RH.
1/17 - The seedlings are a week old now. I've kept the temps and RH pretty constant at 75*-80* F with 65-70% RH and just used dechlorinated tap water with PH of 6. Seems like they slowed down in growth so I'm questioning myself if I over watered.I'm planning on starting nutrients and cal-mag on the next watering.
Watering every other day last week. I'm trying not to over water and let the coco dry up a bit more. I gave the above nutrients on Fri 18th and Tues 22nd. about 1/2 gallon between all 5 plants. The first feeding I saw slight burn on one plant. The other two times I gave them just ph 6 tap water.
Even though I have a cold right now I can still smell a slight odor from these girls already .
Anyone know what the slight yellowing on the bottom fan leaves is in picture 1? Also my leaf tips are turning up a little could this be my light is to close or to much fan wind?
the light schedule is really intense and the little ones didnt have enough roots to get their nutrients in so they started cannabalising themselves and that's why they started turning a bit yellow. yellowing means not enough nitrogen , cut out the bloom add more gro, you'll see them recover almost instantly. that or turn the lights down a bit . hope this helps ! 🚀
Some decent growth this last week but still behind the norm from overwatering. The girls are 4" to 4 1/2" tall. Topped 2 plants yesterday Day 20 and one today. The other 2 will just get LST.
Added two 65 watt COBs with 3500K. I felt the Optic 4 wasn't enough for a 4X4 tent. Down the road I'll put the Optic 4 in a 3X3 and fill the 4X4 with 6 COBs.
Week 4 was rough for these girls. Nute burned one bad and waited to long to flush but she's coming back. Guess I didn't have the the best plan for this grow but doing lots of research and learning.
A little bit of Nitrogen toxicity from last feeding so have to get that straightened out.
Three of the girls I topped got tied down and the other two got bent over.
Another rough start to this week. Last Saturday while watering and moving the plants around I slid one in front of the heater thinking it was off and of coarse it wasn't! I lost 2/3 of the plant and the main cola 😒
I'm still not over that one.
The rest of the week has been good, still LST the girls, feeding twice a day at 500-525 ppm with Ph of 5.8-6.3.
Pistils are popping all over now so they're starting to flower 😁
Hoping to get DTW dripper build done this weekend to make watering a little easier. Actualy got the idea for the drain pan and table off of here from TheWeedMan. Thanks for that.
It's been a good week for the girls they're stretching into flower real nice. Plant height is 14 to 20 inches.
I just got the dripper setup going at the end of the week and will be fussing with it till I'm happy. I will be watching the ph and ppm's in the res to make sure they're on point and topping off when needed.

Moving right along, each girl is on her own pace. Tent was so crowded I had to remove the heater therefore I bought a bigger tent and will use use this one for drying.

Interesting week, plant #4 Topped & LST grew past plant #2 LST to 37 inches high. All 5 plants flowers are maturing at different rates so i'll be harvesting at different dates.
I'm getting so stoked about these girls I bought a 2019 Dynavap M to try vaping.
Plant #1 and #5 are in the drying tent. Plant #2 is still flushing. Plant #3 is still growing some nice colas. Plant #4 is just crazy, she is 43 inches tall now and flowering but she's gonna be a while.
Was at the local hydro store and picked up a jumbo size Hygrometer for outside the drying tent. Have a fan running on the floor of the tent also.

Plant #5 was put in the dry tent last Friday 22nd, so 7 days and not quite dry enough.
Plant #1 was put in Saturday 23rd and Plant #2 was put in Thursday evening 28th. I'll be puffin on plant #5 soon as it cures.
Plant #3 is looking good but still needs to ripen up yet.
Plant #4 is crazy 45 inches high and starting to fill out a little. She's bone dry every time I go to feed her!
Update 3/31
Plant #5 is dry and got cut up and put in mason jars. Buds were fluffy so they got a minor trim after weighing. Dry weight was 92 grams or 3 1/4 ounces.
Plant #1 Her buds were a little more dense than #5 and she yielded dry weight of 72 grams or 2 5/8 ounces.
Plant #2 was dry and put in mason jars for curing.
Plant #3 is flushing this week. Hope she gets more frosty
Plant #4 is still filling out and getting frosty.
Plant 3 Has flushed all week and I'm waiting a little longer before hang her to dry.
Plant 4 is so tall she was starting to burn on the optic 4 light so I had to push all the buds outside of the tomato cage and bend them down. She is a beast for autoflower 💪
Three of the plants have been cured for two weeks now and the smoke is pretty good for my first grow. A little over 9 ounces so far and two more plants to chop yet.

Friday 4-19 plant 3 got a haircut and in the drying tent she went.
Plant 4 is so big I can't keep the pot wet with hand watering every 12 hours. She needs a IV bucket of liquid nutes. I'm tying off bud sites so they don't fall over.
Plant #3 is dry and in mason jars curing. A loose trim yielded 4 1/2 ounces but unfortunately she's just not as potent as the first three plants.
Plant #4 is close to getting flushed. The fan leaves are yellowing and hairs are starting to shrivel and brown. She has some good frost going on most of the plant.
Plant #4 - I started her flush last Tuesday April 30th due to all the fan leaves turning yellow. I'm wanting her to finish at this point but whatever it takes. I will be starting my next grow in the same tent though.

Plant #4 was in the dry tent for 10 days. A loose trim yielded just over 16 ounces !
It was a interesting grow to say the least. I still have much to learn when growing quality bud but this wasn't to bad for a first grow.
