So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

So this week I have had to split the plants, one is really some way behind so I've managed to sweet talk the wife into letting me get another tent 😉 this plant may be behind but it's fucking massive compared to the others, plenty of decent bud sites so now she has all the space she needs. I have to feed her by hand now rather than the wilma but that's no real problem. Can't wait to see what next week brings already. This week went real well! All 5 of the Twenty20 Ogreberry Autos and the 1 Fastbuds Bruce Banner have successfully germinated and sprouted up from the soil!! This upcoming week we will start giving these girls a heavy feeding of nutrients PH d at 6.5 an see how they react , most likely will love it!! Temperature an humidity has been on point, through out the day we reach 70-75 degrees an a nice humidity of 65%which is always nice ! Hope you all enjoy an keep them eyes peeled for next week !! 10/24/24 Short facts: - Continued with LST - Watered: 1 x 1.2L, 1 x 1L, 1 x 0.8L — 3L - VPD @ 1.0 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 70% ~580 to 720 PPFD - Defoliation - Nutrients increased and added: BioBizz Top-Max and Bio-Bloom - No Root-Juice anymore --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don’t know what happened, but my pictures are not very good this week. It’s probably time to buy a good camera, maybe a used one with a decent lens. I defoliated the Lemon Cherry Cookies this week. I had to remove some leaves so that the branches and their tops could get direct light. But honestly, she looked pretty bad afterward. I really don’t like cutting off branches or leaves; it hurts me to see them like that. Sadly, I accidentally cut one of the better branches in half, which was really devastating. On that occasion, I also did a bit more LST, but that was the only session this week. There probably won’t be much more LST to do in the upcoming weeks. I increased the light intensity and also upped the nutrients. The LCC (short for Lemon Cherry Cookies) is the smallest plant in the tent and has fewer branches than the others. She also doesn’t use much water. But it was incredible to see how fast she went into flower, it basically happened from one day to the next. Her buds are the biggest and prettiest in the tent. Because she was the smallest plant, I put something under her pot on Day 28 to ensure she had the same distance to the light as the other two plants.

12/22/21 - The plants look great! We have taken some fan leaves off. Keeping the airflow moving to avoid any powdery mildew. We are going to make topical salve with trim and popcorn nugs. We usually make butter for edibles but we’ll try something new. 12/23/21 - They look really good. Today we have fresh water for a semi flush. We will begin with nutrients and then flush 10 days before harvest. 12/24/21 - The humidity is finally on our side, ranging between 40-50%. We are very happy and excited as the buds continue to grow! 12/25/21 - Merry Christmas! The plants look great! Lots of neat colors in there. Each strain is showing off its own color. Check out todays pictures. 12/26/21 - They look really good today. Humidity is at 45%. Harvest is coming up pretty quick and we are excited. 12/27/21 - Looking good today. Just feeding them and letting them flower away. The buds are getting pretty big and dense. 12/28/21 - They look insane. Going to feed them the last of the nutrients listed above and next week start plain water/flush until harvest. Check out the two videos above!

Sorry busy week. They are getting close. Just turned the lights down 20% to simulate fall for last couple weeks. Will add ice in 6 days to flush.

Germinated in jiffys

I have finally realised that this experiment is horribly going side ways at the moment, however I wonder if it is due to the Winter season, growing outside or in my makeshift greenhouse, (when I say makeshift I mean, recycled plastic sheets, pallets, etc, I think all that aside, my forth cycle is going to memorable… currently I lack grow lights and fans, luckily I made my greenhouse self ventilate, though I am waiting for August(AwwDust) the windiest time in South Africa, if it remains standing and still self ventilating, I would consider it a victor.) growth would be slower than the warm seasons. To make conditions even harder, I do not have grow lights currently however an obstacle that I’ll correct, going for solar lights and solar fans, electricity tariffs are booming, luckily I use rain water stored in a 1000lt tank, no one is complaining water consumption, I feel like people don’t stress the cost of growing, if you don’t pay the bills and you want to become a grower, look for cheaper methods of growing, like for now… I am going to use the sun as my main light source, will get fans to induce positive stress.

Did some high stress training on the painkiller and honey cream maybe it was a bit late for that but I wanted to really make sure that they have a the space they need. Autumn is here and it did start with a lot of rain, I'm a little worried about mold if it's raining non stop. The temperatures dropped down to 10c° in the night and humidity is high, so fingers crossed that no mold will appear. The honey cream finally started to flower properly but she's still around 3 weeks behind the other two strains. The painkiller is getting closer to the finish line, she still has around 2/3weeks to go though. All plants received a lot of thining out removed some branches and leaves, lolipopping style hope this help increase the airflow and prevent mold. Pictures made while it raining.

2024-08-17 in my garden standing 2 Tangerine Snow Plants One was growing Indoors, and was already harvested, and is revegetationg now and it looks promising The other Plant was the most Time of her life Outdoors, and is in flower for week 2 now ( almost week 3 because the last Update was 10 Days ago. i made videos and Photos of Both plants the outdoor lady drinks and eats a lot She sits in a 15l Smartpot, and drinks around 5liters per day ( i have to give her water twice a Day because its quite hot. shes around 160 cm tall and shows already lovely buds ( entering week 3 of flower) i need to get more of these Genetics for next year, shes one of my favourite Genetics but thats what i tell every week to me the perfect plant. BREEDER INFO Tangerine Snow F1 Fast Feminised is a 75% sativa, four-way cross of (Boost x Tangelo) with (Lavender x Power Plant). This Fast F1 hybrid is bred from Cali genetics and boasts great citrus terps, high resin production for extracts, high levels of THC, very good yields and excellent mould resistance. Tangerine Snow F1 Fast can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor flowering times are between 8 - 10 weeks while harvest time in northern latitudes is during September while in the southern hemisphere growers will be harvesting during March. Recommended climate regions are hot, dry, humid and warm. These are tall, semi-branched plants that grow in excess of 200cm and display a high degree of vigour with very good uniformity. In common with many other heavily sativa-dominant strains, Tangerine Snow F1 Fast offers excellent resistance to mould as well as to plant pests and diseases. The combination of citrus terps and plenty of resin makes thi a very good extract strain with the 'washing' method delivering very good yields of hash. The citrus terpene profile is reminiscent of mandarins and tangerines and also has sweet candy notes. THC production has been lab-verified at a strong 24% while CBD is low. The effect is uplifting and energising, perfect for use during the day and early evening.

Loved the strawberry pie, it smells sooo fruity and delicious and it smokes amazing definitely will have to grow this strain again !! Thank you fastbuds

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. Transplant is very close, in a few days she'll be resting in a 10 gal fabric pot ! Unfortunately, a glitch in the page erased all the comments I have been recording here during the past days :( This is Day 44 (24/10/2019) and she looks well recovered from the very many toppings yesterday. Day 45 (25/10/2019) I inserted the plant's small plastic pot into the coco/perlite mix of the big pot to create a niche that fits perfectly for the rootball when I remove the plastic pot tomorrow; spraying the niche with fertilizer solution and root excelurator may help. I hope she'll never realise she has been transplanted. The run off EC from the big pot is 1000 uS/cm and pH about 5.8. I had to perform some operations using tape because the stem near the tip snapped and below the crack, I saw lacerations caused by the twist tie, those need to be fixed right now. Day 46 She's transplanted and the scrog net set up. I'd say that now the journey begins. Day 47 I fertigated by 5.30 am because I had to spend all day working and on Day 48 back to normal, morning fertigation and a little supercropping. The plant has recovered fully from transplant (if she has been ever stressed during the procedure). From now on I'll be fertigating once a day with a liter and a half fertig solution to get a 20-30% run-off. Also, I fertigate other vegging and blooming plants with the effluents I collect.

(gave her 100ml of just PH 6.5 water) 27/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml Biobizz Grow, 6.4PH (changed feeding to once every 2 days with a plain water interval) 28/10/2019 - Started LST 30/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml of each Biobizz - Grow,Bloom and Max, 6.3PH, added carbon filter and it raised the temps to 29c 31/10/2019 - A tad too much of nuts, little burn tip. (Sensi Seeds warned me but I still goofed it)

Buds are getting larger. Terps are sweet, candy grape.

As week six comes to an end, plant one is looking really good, very bushy and lots of nodes growing. Where it was topped a week ago there is very healthy growth on the two new shoots and the stem is looking nice and fat, so have decided to start week seven with this plant in LST. As for plant two, that is starting to look much better. The roots have come out of the bottom of the pot and are crawling down the capilliary matting. They should reach the solution any day now. So for for now this plant is being fed on its own schedule. At least a couple of weeks away from LST though.
