Día 02. Tuve que empezar la floración. Las raices estaban empezando a salir por el caño de descarga. Además estoy notando que al quedar mucha agua atrapada entre las raíces, la toman más rápido y los 20 litros que puse no sé si van a alcanzar. Ya había tenido este problema hace bastante y me había olvidado. Pero igual no me preocupa tanto. Sé que puedo manejarlo tranquilo. Así que al final, la semana anterior fueron sólo 3 días. Ahora voy a ir planificando bien, dado que la diferencia de altura en una de las Polaris, me va a obligar a ir llevando un LST riguroso. También estoy empezando a pensar en formas para evitar las tapadas de raíces. Creo que algo se me va a ocurrir para implementar en algún momento. Voy a hacer un corte de hojas muy grande cuando haya terminado el estiramiento de pre flora. Porque quiero probar cuanto afecta a una rama el quitarle la hoja principal. Algunas he cortado y otras cuantas no. Apliqué Feeding Enhancer de Greenhouse, en forma foliar la noche que pasé a floración. Voy a hacer una nueva aplicación en una semana seguramente. Tuve que bajar la frecuencia de reigo de 30/30 a 15/45 por hora, porque creo que eso hizo que se hagan tan grandes rápido. Igual es un dato que voy a tomar en cuenta para el futuro. Día 04 Me preocupa la velocidad a la que se toman la solución nutritiva. Les puse 20 litros hace 4 días y quedan solamente 12 litros. A este ritmo voy a tener que empezar a poner mucho más de los esperado. Aunque igual, creo que cuando haga un trim fuerte de hojas, ahí van a empezar a regular más el consumo de agua. Además al haber crecido tanto las raíces, es mayor la cantidad de solución que queda estancada en las raíces y es consumida. Así que eso también será un tema a mejorar. Me gusta que las plantas estén así, pero siento que no las voy a poder controlar.

Ran into some problems with this one but it turned out pretty decent, it already smells fire i can't wait to smoke it, i'll keep you guys posted when i get a taste!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Operation Flower of the Jungle is a Go! Second week of flower and these ladies are stretching and blooming! A part from the stretch and flowers coming out, there hasn't been much change. Which said like that seems like it's nothing but there has been a huge flower production in the past week. Were gonna have some nice jungle nuggets. Upped the nutrients 1ml/L

Ladies and gentlemen, here we are at the start of week 3 and so far so good.. She has only gotten a light feeding Maxibloom about .1 tsp per gallon around the edges of the pot, so the roots have to go searching.. I haven't given her any liquid in 4 days in the pot still has some weight to it so i'm gonna give her another day or two before feeding..Kannabia Seeds much appreciated, these genetics are great. All they needed was some good medium, and there isa match made in Heaven .. I hope everybody's doing well and so are their ladies.God bless and heavy growing 🙏 ✌️

143gr for the Larger pheno and 97 for the shorter, very respectable yield in total for 3 Wk Veg. Total 240gr even they each had 1.5’x1.5’ of space. Big yielder, buds are 10/10 & very easy to grow . Could be prone to mold in an uncontrolled environment.

Ran it in a closet with two 4ft flouro shop lights either side going vertically upward like the letter "A". Had two BIG ASS plants roughly 4ft tall in it side by side going STRONG! Healthy asf, huge ass healthy leaves, some 13 fingered. Flipped em and turned out BOTH were male... Been toying with the idea of doing it again... So what the hell... Here goes, 2 Girls 1 Cup or "pot"... One Herbies Godzilla Cookies Auto and one Fastbuds Wedding Glue Auto. Current setup: -36x36x60 tent -"1000w" led light (130w from the wall) -4in extraction fan/scrubber -20+ yr old GHE Waterfarm fitted with ice probe w/ controller and PLENTY of insulation around RES. -Multiple circulation fans -Taotronics humidifier Stay tuned to watch me fuck this up too 🤣 *Sow'd em both in organic peat pellets after a 24hr soak. Getting them acclimated to their new home early. Doing environment tests and dialing it in with the new to me ice probe, and the change to hydro versus soil plants that were in there. Will be more moisture in the air until a canopy covers my balls with the evaporation from the light. **lookey lookey, BOTH have come to life and are making way to the surface. Not long and they'll be in their new "cup". Last update on germination week as once they pop we start counting I suppose.

Esa familia, ya estamos a mitad de floración como quien dice finalizando la 4 semana , y es que están cogiendo unos tonos también, esos colores rojos y morados que están entonando😈 Tuve que tuitear las 5 plantas de un armario ya lo visteis y las puntas se dirigen hacia la luz. Cómo podéis observar en las fotos y vídeos. Algunas se sobrealimentaron porque no todas comen igual pero reduci la alimentación solo en esas y ya se está solucionando. Por lo demás , pronto empezaré aplicar el overdrive junto con el bud candy unas semanas más. Las temperaturas en estos indoors son perfectas y la humedad relativa es correcta. Hasta aquí es todo espero que os esté gustando, buenos humos y feliz navidad 💨💨💨

Week 26/11 - 2/12

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 THE MOST PHOTOGENIC Thinking about changing the title of the diary to that.. 😂😂 I swear the camera loves this one.. And it's not the placement because I've tried moving them to that same spot and the pictures just don't come out the same. I guess the others just need to mature a bit more and they'll be more appealing in pictures because in person they really are.. 😍 Green sensation is really bringing it to the table. Buds are getting fat, stinky and sticky! I'll have to add a bit of support for sure because some are starting to bend a bit. Smell is just grrreat! She's definetly not ready yet so those 40-45 days of flower aren't that correct.. No problem with me though, i'm glad they've got more time to rippen up. Not much difference in nutrients.. I do use 2ml/L of enzymes every 10 days or so in flower.. Noticed it does great work in the roots during flower. Hope you enjoy the pics and vids. Taken on day 42 of flower. SUMMARY: The OG has bounced back from the pH issues now after giving all watering/irrigation at a pH of 6.5. I continued with the updated GWE mid bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden peak bloom nutes for the Amnesia. I also continued with some light defoliation this week removing the odd lower leaf and some fan leaves covering bud sites that I couldn't tuck. DAY 78 -------- Thursday 19/11/2020 I fed the plants. GWE 2020 updated Mid-bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden Peak Flower nutes for the Amnesia. Although I only mixed these nutes and pH'd to 6.4 on Monday I always check again before and the readings had changed - I don't think my pH pen is the best (yes I keep the tip moist). I didn't have time to pH again and tbh after spending 30mins doing this the other day it can get to fuck and stay as is. OG (in) = 5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 1.05L (21%) pH 5.7 [0.7 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.2 Amnesia (out) = 1.4L (35%) pH 5.9 [0.3 drop] The plants look healthy still with no signs of issues and are both a great colour so I think they're doing just fine. The OG has bounced back from the pH issues now and is really blooming fast, much faster that the Amnesia which makes me sad as I will inevitably cut her down early...I think she has the potential to be a beast judging on bud development so far. The Amnesia on the other hand...I'm starting to become a little disenchanted with her due to the very slow progression of the buds - I was expecting bigger buds but I don't think the genetics are the best (freebies from Seedsman). DAY 80 -------- Saturday 21/11/2020 I fed the plants. GWE 2020 updated Mid-bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden Peak Flower nutes for the Amnesia. Although I only mixed these nutes and pH'd to 6.4 on Monday I always check again before and the readings had changed - I don't think my pH pen is the best (yes I keep the tip moist). I turned the heat up to 25°C a week ago which seems to have helped bring the RH down. DAY 82 -------- Monday 23/11/2020 I fed the plants. GWE 2020 updated Mid-bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden Peak Flower nutes for the Amnesia. OG (in) = 5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 1.1L (22%) pH 6.0 [0.4 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.3 Amnesia (out) = 1.25L (31%) pH 6.1 [0.2 drop] The RH has been lower the last week or so and it seems to be due to the defoliation I've been doing every time I water/irrigate (removing a few obstructing/pointless leaves). I think because its such a small space the removal of the leaves has allowed for a constant 15-20% drop and so its right where I want it now at 40-50%. DAY 84 -------- Wednesday 25/11/2020 I watered the plants with pH'd tap water as my rainwater supply has dried up a little. OG (in) = 5.5L pH 6.3 OG (out) = 1.17L (23%) pH 5.4 [0.9 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.3 Amnesia (out) = 1.2L (30%) pH 5.4 [0.9 drop] No idea why there is a drop in pH of 0.9 for both when there has been a steady trend of it getting closer to the input value. But its expected to vary and 0.5 either side is standard I believe. The Amnesia is taking forever to fatten up, if it ever will now at this point. I know theyre only getting 12 hours of light but this is SLOW!
