Half way through the flowering now. Oreoz from the super sativa seed club is looking great. she loves food and supports HST very well, we did several toppings, and is very suitable for a scrog, she stretch more like a sativa plant, with longer branches but the buds have the typical indica snowball structure, a well balanced hybrid i must say. The smell has some nice hints of chocolate with some gassy creamy background. Very rich in THC and in general a very easy to grow plant. some support is required due to the longer branches

Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Look at how freaking big this plant is. Added cal mag. Added Dr earth flower girl and Dr earth 222. Added some more leaves and branches from lollipopping and defoliation. Earthboxes are dope but this is an absolute monster of a plant for this small of a space. I want to add another and fill my tent with 2 plants like this

Finally flushing her. Her nugs are so dense and so frosty and she smells like vanilla and coffee. I can definitely tell this is going to be one of those strains you need to smoke at night before bed. I plan on harvesting this Friday.

day:49 today I add 8lt of water to the bucked. She is drinking and eating in same amount. she is happy I am happy :D I hope after this week I will begin second floor of scroging 😎 day50: She is happy with the ppm so ph is stable. today she smells so fregrant and tasty :D I activated the carbon filter for smell and also for humidty. I did some defoliation but I cannot reach back part, will do it while water change. scrog action is going on! day51: ph and ppm are both stable. she drunks 2 lt last night. Bud sights are seeable. And smells very nice even today. I am so excited 😬 day52: She drunk about 5 lt. and ppm raised to 2100 but ph is stable. I added the lost water. I will check again just before dark period. Her OG ancestors become visible:D day54: she drunk about 14 lt in 2 days ph is stable. ppm raised to 2300. I changed the DWC. I will scrog her again when ph and ppm will stable. ppm:1820 ph:5.8 DAY55: Today I am sad a bit. My girl told me that she is genderfluid 😎 But I love him/her anyways. Long story short I will keep her till end for for my ediable recipes and for seeds. P.S: This strain is so new that it couldnt be a stable femine. May be next year at 40.cloning it will be stable. It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

July 26th : Nothing tonight was gonna do a video but well we realized we had to prepare for something. July 27th : The Lemongrass got the chop. Now Only the Early Girl OG, and the Notorious T.H.C. Remain. Lots of wet hand trimming.. Gonna try something with the trimmings and larf. July 28th : Hooked up the washer got the bags and buckets set.. Turned my small amount of larf and trim into a small amount of bubble hash. I'm just glad the first try was a success. Now i'm prepared for the big run!!😁 July 29th : Welp Early Girl O.G. Hybrid got the cut. Leaving only you guessed it.. The Notorious T.H.C. to finish in the tent. More pics of the girls inside the tent tomorrow.. Fastbuds seeds Gorilla zkittles auto Only using spring water for first week and spraying with foop mist. Going to use foop nutrients with Humboldts secret cal/mag and nectar for the gods ph up and down! Planted right into substrate. I’m using Mother Earth coco coir/perlite mix with hydroton at bottom of pot

Grow diary 11 Stage 2 Days 11-20 The light schedule was altered to 19/5 on day 11 and the 6 inch distance was maintained until she went into the main tent. Lights on 7pm off 2pm Day 12 was the 1st time she was watered/fed since day 6 when it was soaked for transplant. After day 12 she was fed 300ml every day and the run off checked to make sure everything was in range. Day 17 she was topped after the 2nd set of nodes. I'm thinking of removing the lowest set of nodes in a few days and doing a small mainlining project, Day 18 she was moved into my new main tent (gorilla shorty gt225). The light is my mars hydro TS1000 set at 50% power 20 inch above the canopy. The wilma system is just hydroton/clay balls, and the feeds are on at 8pm for 15mins and on at 12.30pm for 15mins. Day 20 she seems to be adjusting to the topping and the transplant. I'm happy with how the last 9/10 days have gone, its still been mega hot and i have managed to battle the heat quite well so the plants haven't suffered. At the moment all 4 strains are at about the same point in growth. I have included my 2 plants for gorilla growing in this diary, one is another Bruce banner, which was born mega deformed and she probably wont amount to anything. The other one is a northern lights which is doing well. Hello my friends growers This week I've got more and more yellow leaves, Do you think it's a carence, water excess, precose senesence? I don't what I need to think, or if just normal, I just give her water two times per week. 0.6l x 2. Fertilizer 1/2 times. I think I'll harvest end of this month or start December. If no, bud are biggest each day, and smeel really sweet. I've also started pk 13 14 this week. Sorry not lot pic's this week , I've broke my phone and lost several pic's. Have a good week 😁😁

Today is day 64 and these ladies are just lookin so beautiful, stacking up really nice!! Didn’t have any issues this week except humidity is a little low but got couple more humidifiers an we are good to go! Can’t wait to see what they do this week,, nugs are getting rock hard dense and smelling oh so sweet ! We are starting week 9 this week so all stay tuned for next weeks photos ! Outside temperatures are getting hot, 30+ degrees, meaning hot inside the tent, night temperatures hotter than day in the photo period tent, but Blueberry ghost og is budding beautifully, with purple starting to show, girl scout cookies is looking frosted and stardawg an critical orange punch auto close to harvest, mothers are growing nicely and I should be able to clone the new seeds soon. I have harvested the sour orange auto and some white rhino also, hanging now, will update weight next week 🦏🦏😀😀
