I can never talk bad on auto flowers. I did not pay much attention to these girls and it shows but the genetics from FASTBUDS were so good that the quality of the buds was still A1. I bought more FASTBUDS seeds and will grow them in my new setup and hopefully I can maximize the yields this time around.

Loved it!! Relatively easy going!! Couple off moments but not worth getting into but the smell!!! It’s not super strong where you smell it throughout the house when you burp the jars but she has a very (what I could only reference as sour, sweet and lemony, almost like that lemon pledge your mom use to clean the house with) smell but I love it!!!

As we saw in earlier weeks, I'm trying to balance them out, something is bothering them. But seeing the results so far it could only be 2 or 3 things: 1/ the left plant (XL runt) is closer to intake of cooler / fresh air. 2/ That one is in a bigger pot 3/ buffering with super soil works better in a larger pot. So next time I will use: better ventilation, also horizontal circular, using bigger pots, also put back in the hydro corn, which I didn't this time, God knows why... Ah I know, cause I was stoned probably... Fr autos I will also use a little fewer amendments in the coming grow. It's just a learning curve with my setup and having never grown auto's indoors. Also with these Forbidden Runtz, I'm happy with what they are doing still with me messing up a bit. Still, it is a tent full of weed. See you next week!! Week 7 did not go too well. I believe I ran into a heat stress issue due to the lights and I also tried some new supplements to add to the res and I ended up with some type of nute lockout.....I think. Anyway, today starts week 3 of flowering and after some more research into nutrient ratios I came up with what you see above. Now I added all of this into 16 gallons of RO water (in the correct sequence) and my EC ended up a little higher than I wanted...1.4. I was looking to stay more around 1.0, but below 1.2 regardless. So I ended up adding 3 more gallons of RO water to the mix and got my numbers looking pretty descent. I was under the assumption ww was on the smaller side of the cannabis world, but this one plant, nicknamed "HULK", seems to be the exception to the rule. Hulk is now 24 inches tall....WITH LST. There is probably another 1.5 feet of branch that is basically horizontal. Well it leaves me in a predicament. I only have 22 inches of light between the 315w CMH and Hulk. The light is as high as it can go in the tent. Well I am going to keep an eye on these girls and hopefully we will see some improvement in growth. Last week pretty much stalled. Well I will check back in and let you know how it's going. Until then just keep it growing. Jan 16 update: wow, the Hulk just keeps going 😳. The runt is still giving me issues. It looks like heat stress but not from the lights. Thinking a vpd issue. Got a thermal temp gun so I am watching for that now. Also got me a wireless camera set up now. So I can check on the girls whenever and wherever I am. Love it.

Day 43 All four ladies are now in flower mode. They are still looking healthy but the fight against aphis continues. I've tried garlic a few times but they keep coming, so now I am going to make a tomato leaf mixture. I've read garlic chases everything, but tomato leaves chase only the bad bugs. Tonight I will water with plain water with a ph of about 6.5, then give them a stronger dose of nutes for its current stage of growth this Saturday. Day 45 Did a bit more LST on Sour Diesel, Diesel and Royal Kush. They all got the full treatment today, I watered them with nutes and after a bit I sprayed neem oil to deal with the aphids. Day 48 Everything is still looking really nice. I sprayed some Bioneem Oil a little while ago and left it from there. I've been going every night picking off the bugs, but with the neem I've left it to see if they still try. Each day I do a little training to make sure the growth is guided. Day 50 We are on the last day of this week and I'm just amazed at the growth. My previous auto grows were just sad and nowhere near as good a looking as these. The neem seems to be working ok I guess, but I have only sprayed once. I want to get a solid schedule going with watering, nutrients and pest control. I was going to water twice but the grow medium holds water really well. Saturday = Nutrients Monday = Pest control Wednesday = Water

After the PK boost last week the OG's are getting fatter, we only have some week to go so i will stop giving nutrients during this week! At the moment im happy with this strain, a very nice smell and good production, of course i need to see the final outcome but at the moment im quite happy 😁

This was a fun little project with a few ups and downs. Overall it was a success. I managed to get 86 Seeds off of the two plants, this is a smaller number but given that I started the pollination about 2-3 weeks late I am impressed. Top this all off with the fact I was using 10ppm silver solution for the majority of the reversing process and only had 30ppm for about a single week near the end. Moving forward if I plan on reversing anymore plants I will be investing in some STS vs Silver solution. It's easier to use and has stronger results. I also managed to get 25g of bug from the plants as well that I will infuse into some butter. Not to worry these are not the branches that where sprayed with silver and they have been cut off and disposed of in the composter. When I decide to grow these out I'll try and create a new diary and test if the CBD/THC ratios remain intact, if the plants are viable. I have not tested the germination rate on these seeds and for all I know they are duds or will not resemble their back-crossed parents. This is my first seed making project and so much is new and unknown to me. Have had lots of help along the way from some good GD friends. Tried to post lots of photos and products I used. The photos labelled [PREVIOUS HARVEST] where when I first grew this wonderful strain out. It has the same peppery kush smell and crazy deep purples as it first did. I did shock these plants with a heavy feeding that stunted them greatly, I also transplanted them when I should have started them off in their forever pot. This was all explained in the weekly entries when it happened and why. overall the autos are not heavy yielding but more average for an auto and that's ok with me. Its the smells, taste colours and CBD contest that draw me to it. Somethings to note from the diary, most of the liquid nutrients are diving by how much water I gave them, typically 4L. Solid nutrients are divided per litre of medium in the pots or they are the total amounts I added. Just ask if you have Questions.

Tomorrow is the end of the tenth week for the plants, this morning I fed them, before that I gave them only water for 2 waterings, that is, they were in water for a whole week. It's hot right now and I'm watering them every 3 days, this morning they each got 30+ liters, anyway, except for the ones in smaller pots, they got a lot less.
