First grow ever! Popped the seeds while still working out the kinks on the misting system. Growing in a custom built 24" x 36" x 48" fully insulated box. I've got the fans and humidifier dialed in to hold temps and humidity steady during the day and am only losing about 6°C during lights out (Depending on temperature in Garage). Everyone was sprouted in Rapid Rooters surrounded by hydroton. Right now I'm tweaking the misting system with solenoids to minimize dripping as I'd like to go water-to-waste... but without being super wasteful. Only the two autos (AKxCM and SCH) will be staying in the box for the duration of the grow. The other four seedlings are photos and will be moved to a sunny window to put on some size prior to being moved outdoors towards the end of May. I'm a total rookie, but have tried to pay lots of attention to other diaries and lots of forums. I'm sure i'll make some mistakes along the way, but hopefully ya'll will keep me on the true garden path. I'm looking forward to all your questions, comments, and nasty remarks.

@MephistoGenetics, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 10 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in paper towel and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this Illuminauto 21 - Sour Crinkle will turn out. Illuminauto 21 - Sour Crinkle (Grape Crinkle x Sour Crack) Two of our fastest and frostiest varieties collide to make a sweet and sour delight! Expect super frosty, compact nugs that won't be a toke for novices.  Destined to be a great strain for extraction work too! Hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I just want to say that I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-08-30. Today marks the second week of flowering, and I’m really excited about how well my cannabis plant is doing! Over the past few days, it’s really stretched out and has grown quite a bit taller. The leaves are looking lush and vibrant, with a deep green color that shows how healthy the plant is. I was a bit worried last week because the leaves were slightly droopy, but after adjusting the water and getting the levels just right, it’s looking much better now. It feels like the plant has responded really well to the care I’ve been giving it. I’m looking forward to seeing how it continues to develop in the next weeks. The buds are starting to form, and I can’t wait to see them fill out. This is such an exciting process, and I’m really hopeful that everything will keep going smoothly from here on. Fingers crossed for a successful grow!💚🌱

Week 10 - Second Week of Flowering 🌸 As week two of flowering begins, the garden’s growth is unstoppable! These ladies are thriving, stretching up while staying beautifully vibrant and green. Every inch of this tent is optimized—each plant is soaking up light, nutrients, and water precisely as they need, filling the room with energy. Room Conditions 🌡️ • Temperature: 27.3°C • Humidity: 62.6% • CO₂ Levels: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.36 kPa (excellent range for robust flowering) • Lighting Intensity: 818 PPFD Solution & Medium 💧 • Solution Temp: 21.5°C | TDS: 470 ppm | pH: 6.02 • Medium: Moisture 100% (recently dried to 67%), TDS 510 ppm, Temp 22.5°C The “dry-out” to 67% was a strategic move, helping boost nutrient uptake and root strength. Meanwhile, our slight increase in reds seems to be having the desired effect, nudging these ladies further along in the flowering process. Eye Safety & LED Lighting 🌞🕶️ With powerful LED systems like the ThinkGrow and ICL-300, eye protection is critical. LED grow lights emit high-intensity light across the full spectrum, including intense UV and infrared components that are not easily detected by the human eye. Long-term exposure without adequate protection can lead to eye strain, and in extreme cases, damage to vision. • Blue Light Hazard: LEDs often have elevated levels of blue light, which can harm the retina over time if proper precautions aren’t taken. • UV Protection: Even low doses of UV can accumulate and harm eyes, so grow glasses with UV protection are essential for any indoor gardener. Investing in quality grow room glasses can help protect from glare, UV, and infrared rays, making plant care safer and more comfortable. Lighting Enhancements: ICL-300 In-Depth 🔆 The ICL-300 is our newest addition, specifically designed for inner canopy illumination. This LED offers a targeted light boost under the canopy, enhancing flower growth in lower and shaded areas—ideal for maximizing yield and light efficiency. • Dual Spectrum Technology: The ICL-300 provides a custom spectrum designed to penetrate deeper into the plant canopy, promoting robust bud formation throughout. • Enhanced Light Distribution: With strategically positioned diodes, the ICL-300 reduces shadowing and balances light distribution to all parts of the plant. • Energy Efficiency & Heat Management: This light is designed to be energy-efficient, running cooler and reducing the risk of heat stress within the grow space. The inner canopy light gives the plants exactly what they need, particularly during the flower stage when bud sites deep in the canopy can benefit from more direct exposure. However, after noticing slight leaf burn on some plants, I’ll hold off a bit longer before fully integrating this light to ensure optimal adjustment. Looking Forward 🌟 As we continue dialing in conditions, it’s all about balance, precision, and taking proactive steps to optimize every aspect of the grow environment. We’ll keep a close watch on the canopy height, and next week, I’ll aim to fine-tune the light integration even further with the ICL-300. P.S. - ICL-300 and CO₂ Sensor 🌱 The TrolMaster CO₂ Sensor (MBS-S8) has been crucial for real-time CO₂ adjustments, ensuring the plants get exactly what they need without constant monitoring. Combined with the ICL-300’s spectrum flexibility, these tools make an unbeatable setup, allowing for nuanced control over plant growth and development. As always, a huge thanks to the Grow Fam for the tips, support, and enthusiasm! I’m excited to see what these next weeks will bring as these plants reach their full flowering potential. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t forget: eye safety first, growers! 🌞🌿 Discount Codes so you can save big on your next check out 💚💚💚 Kannabia - DOGDOCTOR 30% off SeedsmanSeeds - DOGDOCTOR 10% off CannaKan- DOGDOCTOR 15% off terpyz.eu - DOCTOR 15% off The Neutralizer - PORKIT5-DOG 15% off As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciated and i fell honored and so joyful with you all in my life 🙏

My good friend convinced me that trimming and training are paramount, so I've started with slowly defoliating the Creme de la Chems to try and get to lollipop status. They're just starting to flower, so I figured I could get away with a more aggressive approach. Because I failed to train these girls early, I'm stuck dealing with a little rain forest. What I've tried to do is trace each flower topped stalk up from the base, and trim away from the bottom up. 1/3 of the way up per day. I've now got a thick canopy, and I've been trying to just use leaf tucking and manual manipulation every few hours in order to keep the different height flowering sites in direct light. These ladies have really been thriving, and it's been such a joy to watch them grow! I like having two plants in one net pot letting them grow wild, but I think in my next grow I'll keep it to one per pot and train better from the start. As for the Super Orange Haze ... not as good. I attempted to pull the main branch over to train her to some empty space, but I was too aggressive and ended up popping her head off :(. First grow, first disaster. I took the head and stripped her/coated in clonex and pushed her into some potting soil just to see what would happen. There hasn't been enough foliage to really make me want to do any trimming, I've just tried to tie the stalks off to train them apart. I'm really sad about my mistake decapitation, but she seems to be doing well still. She's probably week 2 of flower based on others' journals. I changed the water midway through the week (which is when the videos were taken). I drained most of the water out, but roots prevented me from getting the last few gallons. When I refilled the res with RO, I measured the PPM at around 200. I have to assume that remaining nutrient was completely unbalanced leftovers, so feeding will have to just have to be experimental. My approach has been to give around 1:1 Gro vs Bloom and Micro every 2-3 days when I refill with RO. I want to build my PPM up to 1000, but slowly so that I can detect if I hit a ceiling first. It's hard to measure how much food is in the water based on PPM. CalMag is what drives it mostly, so I've been using CalMag as a sort of measuring stick. I keep the CalMag pegged to the Bloom food, but I know it's only good for initial dosing. I can't assume the plants are eating CalMag in the same proportion as anything else :(. If anyone has a line on cheap lab testing ... hit me up. I'd love to be able to test a few hundred samples at a time for NPK and trace so that I can tell (even if post facto) what was going on.

Day 64 (18/05/18) - Impressed with the size of these girls, especially the StarDawg but not really impressed with the stated time from the seed breeder as it was advertised as 8-9 week strains and I can see them easily going another 2 weeks maybe 3 unless they change overnight. One of the girls is over 3ft tall which I can understand she will need more time to fill out etc etc.. I'm a photoperiod grower but thought I'd try out a few autos which in all honesty has been fun just though't they would be a bit quicker. A side from me moaning, they all look really good and i'm certain I'll get some really nice healthy flowers. First auto grow but definitely not new to growing. Always been against autos but they are not that bad, my final decision will come from the finish.. Yield, smoke quality and buds. But all in all, so far so good. Well done from fastbuds

Man these buds are frosty. I really expect this girl to start packing on the weight soon. I'm starting to forget why I picked this one as a mom. I hope I cloned the right genetics.

04/13/25: The plants have now fully adjusted to their new environment, and all five are looking vibrant and happy. Leaf posture is strong, color is rich, and the canopy is filling in nicely. They’re handling the training and topping well, showing no signs of stress, and overall growth has remained consistent. While inspecting them before today’s round of training, I noticed what appear to be early signs of male pre-flowers on PP1 and PP4. It’s still too early to be certain, but it’s looking like I may already be down to three possible females. I’ll be keeping a close eye on them over the next week—things should become much more clear soon. Today I topped all five plants again—this time at the first node of each of the four main branches created from the last topping. This will help build out a broader, more evenly structured canopy. I also used plant ties to gently pull down each of the branches to open up light penetration across the plant. In addition to branch training, I used ties to lightly hold back some of the larger fan leaves on the lower two branches to help expose new growth sites. I’ll leave those fan leaves on for another 3 to 4 days as the new tops develop, then remove them to redirect energy upward and continue opening the structure. They were also watered today with a light nutrient mix, similar to last week’s. The plants still look very nutrient-rich, so there was no need to push the EC any higher just yet. Based on the current rate of uptake, I expect they’ll be ready for another watering in about 3 to 4 days. If anything noteworthy comes up—especially regarding sexing—I’ll update sooner. Otherwise, I’ll be back in a few days to document a light defoliation and any continued developments.

Getting big. Let her go now for another week or two and we’ll see how she stretches. Her stalk and branches are stupid thick with purple candy cane striping. I love how she’s shaping. Watch how big she ends up being.

This week went a lot better than last, although still not optimal. After last week's transplant they all did well, as you can see in the time lapse. They do all have one or more deformed leaves and a slight calcium deficiency but look otherwise healthy. Increased base water (RO+calmag) EC from 0.3 to 0.4, feeding 0.7EC in total. At the end of the week, the root systems looked very well developed and I transplanted them into their final 5L pots. Decent so far.

Comenzando la quinta semana, sin novedad. Aún queda una semana para que pasen a flora. Esta semana las riego solo con agua, ya que el sustrato tiene los minerales, microorganismos y materia orgánica suficientes.
