Moin Leute, hab vor paar Tagen mit der Ernte der beiden Pflanzen begonnen, war etwa 3 Stunden mit dem Trimmen der beiden Pflanzen beschäftigt. Von der Farbe sind keine großen Auffälligkeiten erkennbar, Standard orange, hell bis dunkelgrüne Buds dabei. Die Größe der Buds variiert von den beiden Pflanzen, die eine eher mit sehr langen aber eher dünneren Headbuds, die andere eher mit breiten und kürzeren Headbuds. Insgesamt kam jetzt circa 640g Nass auf die Waage zusammen (gewogen am darauffolgenden Tag), denke das wird schon eine ganz gute Ausbeute. Im Nachhinein hätte ich schon eine Woche früher ernten können: Die trichome sind schon an manchen Stellen sehr bernsteinfarben gewesen (siehe Bilder). Auch musste ich ein paar Stellen aufgrund von Schimmel wegschneiden (denke das lag daran, dass manche Triebe zu nah an der Zeltwand lagen und aufgrund des wechselhaften Klimas insgesamt). Insgesamt bin ich natürlich sehr zufrieden mit dem Grow, ich konnte einiges an Erfahrung sammeln und werde diese auch für weitere Grows nutzen. Zurzeit trocknen die beiden im Zelt mit aufgehängtem Trockennetz bei etwa 23 grad und zwischen 55-60 RH. Denke in einer Woche werden diese schon bereit für die Gläser sein, und dann kann man schon mal ein wenig naschen ;) Ich danke nochmals dem Sponsor Dutch Passion für die Gelegenheit, bei diesem Contest dabei gewesen zu sein. Ich bin mit dem Strain sehr zufrieden - es gab kaum Komplikationen, die Pflanzen waren relativ resistent und das Wachstum ziemlich schnell. Ein endgültiges Review werde ich erst nach dem Tasting machen können (um ehrlich zu sein hatte ich mir schon vor ner Woche mal einen Trieb abgeknapst und schon probiert, ist aber natürlich nicht ganz repräsentativ für den Grow - war aber mega :P). Weiter gehts für mich erst mal mit den zwei Stecklingen von den Pflanzen und der dritten Pflanze, die anfangs im Zelt war - diese ist draußen in die reveg gegangen und wird - nachdem die Pflanzen im Zelt trocken sind - zusammen mit den Stecklingen in die Blüte geschickt. Flipped to 12/12 a couple of weeks ago but the flowers are just now starting to form. One of the plants turned hermie out of nowhere, I really don't know what happened. Also the lower leaves are turning yellow and I think it has something to do with the pH because I think I added too much calmag but other than that they're doing their thing.

D 115 05/09 Still checking the trichomes, a few days for harvesting

End of the week 5 of flowering I have little bit problems with humidity 60-70% and i found something that doesnt look like good thing in bud :( but only in one lady Overall ladies look good only one have something going, should i start flushing? week 6 of flowering starts today

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. 3/21: That last quarter-strength nutrient feeding seems to have taken well. Amnesia is bulking up slowly, and isn't letting go of as many dead leaves today. I am removing any crispy leaves I can find from Trainwreck as well. She isn't letting go of any leaves like Amnesia is, they're just ugly as sin. Oh well, they're doing their job. I am keeping the humidity to match the current temperature according to the VPD charts, like every week, so I haven't been lowering the humidity over time because of the heat in the tent. 3/22: Leaves are looking greener today. Just keeping an eye out for any loose leaves ready to be removed from either plant. Not many so far today.

Last week of veg for these ladies. I wanted to get the most out of the bio line feeding and decided to improve the soilfoodweb on a organic way. I think worm castings are the best way to do so. So plagron helped me out and they send a bag my way. Fed them some bio enhancer and added a half liter of mega worm and mixed it into the soil. Defoliated a bit and will add the biobloom next week. Day 29- First day of Week 5. Topped all 4 plants today. Plants growing great! Noticed a "skin or film" on the stems that looks like it's shedding. Watering with spring water 1 gallon pH-6.5 @ 72° F. Sprayed water on the tops and bottoms of the leaves as well. Day 32- Watered a tiny bit, but ran out of water. Day 33- Wateres with 3ml/gal of cal-mag and 1/2 tsp/gal of recharge. Plant C has brown spots. Day 34- Plants have some weird colors but still growing good. First day of 18/6 light cycle.

Hello Growers and Tokers! Welcome to another run where I'll be testing something from a local breeder. The cultivar is Orange Apricot x Mimosa from Mallorca Breeders. This cultivar is a treat, I've had the delight of smoking this grown from the actual breeder. If it comes out anything like that I'll be more than happy. Frosty buds, very oily, very tasty, very hard, very nice, very everything! It was a 10/10 smoke Let's hope we have a 10/10 grow to have some 10/10 nugs. Strain description from breeder: Genetic Background: Orange Apricot x Mimosa Type: Feminized Sativa 50% Indica 50% THC: CBD: Yield Indoor : gr/m2 Height Indoor: 0 - 0 cm Flowering time: 8 - 9 weeks ( 55 - 60 days) Aroma: 
Effect: Expectations and training method: I know these genetics are a bit delicate so I’ll be taking things very easy. 
The breeder suggests waiting until the fan leaves come out to decide the training technique. If the fan leaves are thinner then it’s leaning more towards Orange Apricot and will be a bit more sativa and has more ramifications so most likely LST. Thicker fan leaves would be leaning towards Indica which is what I actually want, the Mimosa side. Breeder recommends topping this Pheno to increase yields. Let’s hope they’re Mimosa leaning.. 
 As for the yields I’m not expecting more than 40 grams per plant but always shooting for more. I’ve already smoked this strain grown by the breeder and other local breeders, which is what made me want to grow it myself. I expect nothing but trichomes and terps from these ladies.
