Week 12: Tangie Finish Line in sight Today, I checked Tangie’s trichomes and noticed that 20% have already turned amber. This signals that it’s time for a flush. I’m using pH-balanced water (pH 6) with an EC of just 0.092 ms/cm due to my extremely soft water. My goal is to stress Tangie a bit in these final days to boost trichome production. I plan to remove some fan leaves two days before harvest and let the soil dry out slightly. She has about 4-5 more days to go. The aroma has become incredibly strong, with a vibrant, fruity scent dominating the air. It’s amazing how much more potent this smell is compared to the pre-harvested buds, which are now in the curing process and beginning to release that delightful orange and citrus fragrance. I’m eager to compare the flavor, potency, and high between the early and late harvests. The finish line is definitely in sight and I'm happy that I could let her ripen entirely to she what she is capable of 😍 Update 17.08 (Day 82) Today I decided to finally harvest the rest of this lovely Tangie. The trichomes showed a good mix of amber and cloudy trichomes, and I don't want to risk letting her overripen. I opted to cut only the fan leaves again to ensure a slow and consistent drying process. Going strong. End of week 3 , gave her a decent tidy up for more light penetration and air flow.

Everything is going well so far. Appears to be we have some stretching happening and i keep thinking Im seeing preflowers but nothing really so far. Probably a month away like last year. Little Catalina wine mixer in the mix is doing fine as well, although kind of spindley. Currently feeding every 3 waterings . Had about 7-8” of rain the last 72 hours, insane tropical conditions, ipm consisting of Lost Coast Plant therapy, BT spray, and de powder for base of plant. Also helps with calcium and hardening up the plant.

12w1d (85d) - Any day now! Started using Fish Sh!t to start the process of flushing her out. I read the journal article and, really, no one has a clue if flushing is as beneficial or not. Just do whatever…why not?

Shortly after they were switched to flowering (after week 3) the plants continue to stretch and then start to develop their first flowers. Now in week 7 all plants have very nice flower clusters all over the plant and side branches. They have grown to 45 cm (=Shiva Skunk on left side) and 40 cm (Serious Kush on right side of aisle) in height respectively and all plants have a nice dark green color, which shows they are healthy and also that the Advanced Nutrients schedule works like a treat. The Q6W-Gen.2 LED-Lamps are now dimmed to 100% (=three green LEDs on the dimmer) and work on FULL POWER, which ensures full fledged flower production. Both varieties have now started to exude their typical aroma. The Shiva Skunk starts to smell musky and sweet, while the Serious Kush smells 'gassy' and 'fuely' like its OG-Kush heritage. The flower clusters on the Serious Kush appear to grow denser than the clusters on the Shiva Skunk.

I wish it was easier to upload media here. That's why is taking me so long. Stretching everywhere, she went from 3 feet to 6 feet in a heartbeat. She is running into the light. I raised the ppm because I'm going to turn 600 watts on. They look healthy, but too much legs.

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

I opened the converted wardrobe door and the first colour I thought of was Orange sovI knew it was time. I did a lot of experimenting throughout the grow, trying to find my own technique and this girl has been a great help. Its my biggest haul to date ooking at it altough I can't weigh it without seriously messing around so l just weigh when dry.

Nach dem letzten entlauben und leichtem Biegen der Äste, entwickelt sich die Pflanze etwas homogener. Allerdings hat sie im Stretch nochmal ordentlich an Höhe dazu gewonnen. Auch bei ihr ist ein leichter Tripsbefall vorhanden und Raubmilben wurden eingebracht.

Day 44, 2nd of November 2021: Hi there. So the plants had 2 days of darkness before the lamp was on again and from today it is 12/12. Big change also is the power: It is now on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation is different as well under the 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hours on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min. That's all a bit more water for them from today also. Humidity quite the same, temperature as well. Fertilization changed, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. Previously it was just 1ml per liter each. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week. Not much to mention as it just started.

Great week alot of growth start of flower

This week went real great! Today is day 15 for these lil babies an they are doing so great, just loving it!! Temp an humidity been real good for me stayin around 72 degrees during day an 55 to 60 % humidity, perfect for these babies! They got a light feed Monday which only fed 1/4 to 1/2 tsp per gallon an by Friday we were at 1/2 of rapid 3 cal mag , 2 micro, 3 grow , 1 bloom with Ph of 6.5 an will be getting this same, this coming week! Other then than not much else changed but If I didn’t note it, I got my HLG Scorpion at max height , full power running at a 330 par range, an they seem to be loving it, they were praying all week to the led gods haha !
