Rolling into week 7. Time to dial down the nutes and start my UVB regiment. I use Reptisun 10.0 bulbs due to LED UV's giving far less than optimal performance. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs work 2. I only run them from week 7 to flush and for only 3 hours a day within the current light cycle. Update day 45: After doing a trichome check, it finished EARLY!! Time to do a quick flush then harvest. I was going to add the nutes to the fresh water today 😂😂

A Note From (BAM): "This week was a battle with the environment. The plants grew like crazy, but the controller tried to sabotage us every single night. I learned more about VPD, airflow, and the limits of automation than I ever wanted to. But by the end of the week, the plants were wider, the roots were thicker, and I was in control — not the controller." --- Day 8–9: LST & Light Upgrade The FIM sites had fully healed, so I started Low Stress Training (LST) — pinning branches outward with clips to create a flat canopy. I also added the second Sanlight EVO 4-120, angling both lights inward at 40 cm. The plants responded immediately with faster growth and wider leaves. --- Day 10–11: The Fan Controller Nightmare The AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro showed a fatal flaw: every night, when VPD fell below the trigger point, it sent an OFF command to the fan — even with Minimum Speed set to 1. The tent would spike to 80% humidity and 29°C. I tried everything: lower triggers, higher minimums, different modes. Nothing fixed it. The controller simply ignores the Minimum Speed setting when it decides to turn off. The workaround: I have filed a warranty claim with AC Infinity. In the meantime, I am running the fan on a fixed manual speed to ensure continuous airflow. --- Day 12–13: Nutrient Stability & Canopy Width PPM was drifting too low (440–480), so I learned to make a concentrate (2g A + 2g B in 1L RO water) for daily top-ups. This gave me precise control without full reservoir changes. Plant PPM pH Plant 1 509 5.91 Plant 2 519 5.94 Canopy width is now ~45 cm per plant, height 30–33 cm. Purple galore! I am really excited about this strain, can't wait to see the final product! I have used a couple of BuildASoil products, and they have both seemed to help tremendously. Today is day 49 from seed, so about another month and they should be ready to go. I hope so, because I'm going on vacation in July so they have to be done by then. Overall, extremely happy with this grow, just waiting patiently for the results.

April 4th 2021 is Day 55 in Flower, Niagara's Own Seed says their Wedding Cake takes 50 -55 Days. These seeds are great 5 beans for $35 or $40 Canadian. Can't beat the quality and the price! Wish some seed company on here would offer such great prices! Trichomes are mostly milky viewed with a 60X loop. Plants are sticky and smelly. Buds are dense not an airy fluffy bud in sight😍. This is the frostiest bud I've grown to date I think. Some pistils are still white and sticking up straight while others look they are curling in. Since I didn't put up netting or bamboo stakes the branches aren't holding the bud weight so supporting with rope from ceiling hook works OK.
