Day 32: It's the 5th week already! The soil plant is starting to flower as well. The roots of the hydro plant are healthy again, although the plant is of course still very small. I removed a few leaves that overshadowed some of the lower flowers/nodes. Day 34: The results of the LST really start to show. A number of flowers begin to grow. The plant takes more and more horizontal space. I redid the LST today to move the buds even further away from each other Day 37: A lot of growth / stretching went on this week. For the soil plant I redid the LST again today, and the whole pot is almost covered when it was only half of it a couple of days ago. The hydro plant has quite a bushy top now.

It’s the last week of flowering, and I’ve moved the plant into 48 hours of darkness to help boost trichome production before harvest. ✨ The plant has developed an incredibly deep purple color and is covered with trichomes—so much so that it sparkles under any light. The scent is amazing, filling the room with a sweet, candy-like fragrance with a touch of diesel. 🍬 When I trimmed a few leaves to prep for harvest, my scissors actually turned purple from the resin! That’s a first for me and shows just how rich and sticky the trichomes are on this plant. 😮✂️💜 I’m so excited to see how it looks and smells once it’s fully dried. This grow has been unforgettable! 😁🌿✨

Hey guys! 👏 Hope everyone is doing well! This week was interesting. I made a small flush because I wanted to know how much salt my plants had in the soil (considering I've fed my plants with a lot of nutrients the past few weeks) aaaaand the results were quite interesting! They obviously had tons of salts! Here are the results of the runoff water: Falco 5.94 pH 1139 ppm (2278 us/m) Max 5.85 pH 2352 ppm (4704 us/m) Roko 5.64 pH 2453 ppm (4906 us/m) Boomer 5.72 pH 1765 ppm (3530 us/m) Surprisingly enough the plants that had the "worst" runoff values were the plants who had the most foliage and their leaves were the greenest. The pH "loss" of all the plants was also within the expected margin so that's good! 👌 The buds look beautiful and I also noticed some of the plant leaves are starting to turn purple 😍 the smell is also getting stronger and it's quite citric, I love it! Week 6 has brought about the slowing of vertical growth and the flowers starting to put on some bulk. Each time I have run this cut the top leaves will start to come in lighter than the fan leaves below. At week 6, so far they are maintaining a lime green color with some discoloration. This is not a cause for concern. Flower formation is on track and everything else looks healthy. I basically have to ride with whatever happens because I use the BeanStalk line of products for fertilization. They are a single application, controlled release formula that feed the plant over the course of approximately 90 days. This means that I never have to mix nutes. Water only and I set it and forget it. I mix in a known quantity of the product at transplant and that’s it. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is interested in simplifying their grow. The upfront cost is a little steep, but I purchased 3 pound bags of all 4 products in February 2021 and still have a ton of it left. Last time I grew this cut, I observed many of the ‘sugar leaves’ turning yellow and dying prior to harvest. That plant was grown in a 5 gallon pot, with a much longer veg time, much more vegetative mass, and was much closer to my lights. I am hoping to get different results in a smaller pot with shorter veg time and less leaf growth. When I harvested that plant, I noticed that on most flowers this was not a big issue, but over time I have found that when sugar leaves die on the plant, this is the most likely avenue for mold to develop in my room.

Starting to fatten up now and things are getting frosty! Still no issues yet so I'm happy! Added a net to try spread things out and allow more light to pass but as you can see I have no fecking clue what I'm doing. Should i trim some more?

Today the wedding cake was harvested. It smelled strongly floral and only slightly citrusy. It is dried in dryferm bags. Let's see if they're any good. I will report.
