Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Que hay familia, vamos con la octava semana de floración de estas Candy Rain de Zamnesia, para el concurso POWER BUDS Plagron x Zamnesia CONTEST. Las flores van madurando progresivamente y desprenden unos aromas bastante dulces, también empiezan a tricomar bien y a madurar. Another solid week! I've been watering every other day and feeding once per week. I added Cal-Mag this week as I noticed some deficiencies on some fan leaves (little brown spots in middle of the leaf). I defoliated Alana really heavy today! She needed to be opened up for sure! I hope she responds well!! I also defoliated Anna a little as well. Anna grew 6 inches this week and is 26 inches tall!! Alana grew 5 inches and is 21 inches tall!! Otherwise, things are going well... they stink something fierce!! WOW!! I turned the T6 up a level.... Currently running at 6 out of 10! Cheers!!

Late update, ran into some issues with the roots but the end product is still decent. Will make some tweaks next time, the problem was my transplant. I didn’t put the plants down deep enough and the soil was compacted to add. Plants start tipping over and nearly derooted when buds got heavier. Also was using too much nutes, will be switching to coco. Don’t think I used too much, soil just retained a lot of the nutes and water. Hoping coco will solve that issue for me.

We continue training. Due to the fact that 10th day is failed because i didn't prevent left branch of the 1st pair escape, the trunk gradually twisted in the opposite direction. With the help of tent pegs formed a bush. In the video you can see the general plan and the picture from different angles.

Sorry I was traveling the globe with my new charitable organization i founded called "Smite the Mite" trying to help those in need of some mite smiting. Those little bastards are everywhere! Did u know they have mites in Antarctica too? They have their little pervert parties on penguins and eat dead ski off them...that's nasty as hell! Possibly not true as well... cuz I just made that up as I went. I also did a Trichome check today things are moving along nicely. 6/7/2023 Week 9- Day 2 of Flower (Day 125 overall) I admit it I couldn't help it there were some blatant offender leaves blocking the light from some of the canopy buds so they had to go..... and when I took them I found a few more in between leaves that had to go.. so long story short some defoliation did happen.. :-) 6/8/2023 Week 9- Day 3 of Flower (Day 126 overall) Auto pilot re-engaged.. La humedad anda entre 60/70% la temperatura está entre 23/26 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . Harvest time is here for Grandaddy Bruce, dense sticky frosty buds. Very happy with the results so far, for the first time growing this strain. Will update in 7 days with dry weight and smoke report. 48 grams dry, smooth smoke.

She smells incredible! Same as last time. She’s starting to bulk up. I’m probably going to harvest this one a week earlier than last time, for more of a rush/energetic high. I’ll start flushing after the next ful week of flower.

2 ever differing plants here. #1 I think is very much ready to cut and will be doing so over the next day or two. Foxtail mad plant. #2 is gonna be another week I reckon. Still very leafy and starting to foxtail more so won't leave too much longer. Could be a very heavy one depending on how much needs to be trimmed.

So at the bottom tent we have amnesia haze who is very frosty with a sweet gassy smell. Then there is bubble gum more on the earthy side. At the top tent we have that GMO Cookies I got from the bottom of a bag is extremely frosty out of the three in there

Last week after flush.More trichomes and flower color has changed.

Week 10 6/9-15 Lemon ladies love the outside. Both are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is getting nutrients with feedings. 6/13 heavy defoliation and limb removal for lemon cake since she's now in flower. Repositioned the scrog after defoliation so the thicker limbs are in the mesh. Drizzle, got light defoliation mostly yellowing fans. Before and after pics and vids. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed. With the heat and humidity, I water daily.
