- Day 50 The stretch seems to be slowing down a bit now, also seems like she is drinking just a bit less now, so hopefully we see those buds develop nicely from now on. Day 51 Renewed the reservoir today. Starting to get difficult with how big the roots have gotten 😅. I reduced the amount of T.A. tri-part I'm giving as I'm starting to add Big Bud from Advanced Nutrients from now on for the next 2-3 weeks. Day 52 pH got up to 6.4, I Added 1.5 liters of pH 5.5 water, which brought it the pH down to 6.2. Starting to see the bottom fan leaves slowly yellowing as she is using up all those stored nutrients to build the flowers. Day 53 I've noticed the nutrient burn on the leaf tips have gotten a bit worse. I've decided to fill the reservoir with just plain 6.0 pH water for a day to flush out the overload of nutes and will give a lighter mix again tomorrow. Day 54 After having given her just plain water yesterday I've given her a new reservoir with a lighter nutrient mix. Hopefully this will help with the nutrient burn. Day 55 Topped up the reservoir again with 1.5L pH 6.1 water. Seems like the nutrient burn is stable for now. Day 56 I noticed some brown spots on a few leaves on top, I figure they look like calmag deficiency due to the light being to strong. Noticed I was giving 50+ DLI so I reduced light intensity to 45 DLI, see if it stops the spots from spreading. Had to fill up the reservoir again with 1.4L. pH'd water to 6.3 as the water in the reservoir got down to 5.7, which brought it back up to 6.0.

An extremely vigorous girl performing well to this point in hydro. I did a bucket change out week two of grow and honestly hasn't needed any additional nutrients other than topping with fresh RO water w/cal-mag. I topped her beginning of week 4 and now as of this writing gave her a defoliation at base of plant for aeration and applied a bit of LST. We'll continue to monitor ph daily to minimize potential swings. Midweek 4 update - Top off about 3/4 gallon of ph'd (5.5) RO water w/nutrients and cal-mag at a range of 625-630 ppm. TKO just continues to impress me a hydro newbie, but impressed non-the-less. There is approximately 24" of vertical grow space remaining, so the SCROG net is going up, which means the other struggling 5 gal hydro bucket with Ethos Punchberry Cookies will have to move to the 3x3 tent. I'll move two 3 gal Gelato strains into the 2x4 AC Infinity along with the TKO and prepare for final week or two of veg before flipping to 12/12.

Ok so far we have managed to save 2 plants from the dreaded hermie, both are doing really well I’m satisfied that they are ok. Ph runoff is 5.8, feeding 5.8 so no buffering in the coco, no salts buildup. I have more than a feeling that the hermie problem was my fault. Ph pen was out of calibration. By a lot. They were being fed somewhere in the vicinity of ph 2.5-3 daily for about a week, I should have realised when ph lower started increasing but didn’t. We learnt the hard way. Have ordered a Vivosun aerolush c08 to help with the higher temps we are experiencing hopefully it will do the job of the current portable air conditioner and dehumidifier and we can get that temp down to a max of 24 to help with everything that has not appeared yet like the trichomes. They look so lonely in that big tent but I have more than enough room now to have a seat and take some time to inspect

Day22: As said in Week3, I will not keep this perspective for the whole grow, as it doesn't really show the size of the plant. But it gives a nice view of how to top leaves grow :) The flashes that you see in the video is the humidifier. It pumps out vapour every hour for 15mins. So basically a quarter of each second of the video will be when the humidifier runs. Day23: I changed it, as I wanted to see the size as well. Day24 - Day28: Happy, healthy growth.

FBT2402 had a ph issue, and I got some spots on the leaves. I did not have her solution strong enough, and it jumped up on me. It's fixed now, and stable. Beside that she is starting to stack her colas. Hopefully I get a few ounces from her. A relatively hassle-free week this one was with only one minor hiccup at the start of the week when the automated watering timer switch reset itself again. A quick trip to the hardware store to return sorted that out and no issues since with the new timer switch. It may not look like it, but this plant is seriously neglected. I have physically checked on it twice over the last week. With the remote cam I’ve setup I can see when things are going well, I’ve even worked out if I switch on the microphone at the start of the watering cycles I can hear the initial release of water which was how I picked up the fault with the automated watering so soon. It’s like the more I neglect the better this grows! Having everything dialed in, in particular the watering has simplified the process and to date I’ve never had an indoor as happy as this one is. This plant has had to deal with high heat, cold cold nights, cramped conditions, no control of humidity, not a single water PH test (think good quality tap water has been my savior here) and it’s like it’s asking for more to be thrown at it! The weather was everywhere this week. Had a couple of warm days with the hottest October day in 5 years recorded early week which really raised the internal temp of the grow tent, peaking @ over 32c….yup that’s way too hot I know. Lucky I had the shed door open to improve ventilation on the hot day, if the door was closed possibly 40C internal temps would’ve been reached. When a hot sun hits a tin shed with no insulation the heat is only amplified that’s for sure and why all my previous indoor grows have been done mid autumn to early winter. Good thing is as the lights turn on early afternoon the temps were only raised for a bit over 3 hours during the 18 hour light cycle. At least once the sun goes down maintaining a constant temp isn’t an issue. After the hot days, well of course the cold returned and once again the heating bars are busy keeping things warm. The next 7 days the weather is looking very agreeable, just what’s needed for a tin shed grow! Everything’s fattening up nicely, buds are plentiful, sticky and the aroma is getting strong. Amazing progress it’s made the last week and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s going. I’m tempted to say it’s progressing way too well as space is a challenge in the tent that’s for sure, in all directions! A couple of the taller stems are way too close to the light and I’m seeing some foxtailing of buds. I’m sure it would be happier with more space at the sides but there’s nothing I can do about this so not worth worrying about things I can’t fix. I couldn’t be happier anyhow, this is the indoor grow I’ve been wanting as my previous 2 the rewards weren’t quite there. Pretty sure I’ll be rewarded handsomely with this one in 3 to 4 weeks’ time anyhow.

Decent grow. A lil disappointed that I fucked the left most plant. It didn’t go completely to waste, gave it to a friend who wants to make hash from it. The other buds were quite nice though. Like I said, decent for the price.
