Heavy defoliation reduced a lot of yield

Hi growers, We are heading into the final stretch!!! Two days ago I carefully took a seed out of a bud on one plant using tweezers, planted it and it sprouted without any issues, which is great news. On the other plant the seeds have not reached full maturity yet. We are a couple who decided to plant cannabis for the first time during the covid-19 quarantine, and it helped us get through it, during and after grow =] Before deciding to plant, we studied a lot and saw many diaries here, so we didn't have many surprises during the cycle, also because we were able to see, compare and know what to expect from our plant. It was really cool to see the result of what we had studied happening in practice, we learned a lot from Grow Diaries. Definitely we will do a lot of different things next time, but overall we were satisfied to be able to smoke our own weed. Grow diaries helped and motivated us a lot, both to learn new things and to organize and register our grow. Our intention is to continue growing and sharing our experience here. This Strain stood strong even though I threw a lot of stress at her with moving into a new box and changing lights. 2/3 hermed a bit but it looks like there are only a few seeds produced. Very happy about the harvest when looking back at her come up.

Let up all but a couple ties on each plant, definitely the mains are let off. Just kept a couple for airflow that will be unpinned eventually. Topped and supercropped a few taller branches to make the canopy even. Finished taking out the larf at the bottom, adjusted the lights brighter. Topdressed them with Build-A-Flower. It is a vigorous plant with very uniform branching, high resinous and high yield, if you grow from seed there are a few different phenos that I got, equally as good

Tapering nutes off for the flush. Also added a small amount of Barley as a top dress to help her finish off.

8/8/24 New leaf growth starting to turn purple. Not sure if this is bad or not?! Buds are getting bigger
