so I'll start by saying that I'm a "fool" :D it's not an automatic flower, it was clearly written on the package :D it just so happened that I planted two different ladies on the same day, and somehow it came together in my head that she was an auto :D but it turns out that she is a real female plant :) wedding cake fem :) well, nothing like that on day 46, I switched the light cycle to 12/12, and it's not a big problem that she is a photo, the only problem is that there are two of them growing in the tent and one of them is already a blooming auto flower, so she will also now only get 12 hours of light instead of 18 :) As my teacher @AsNoriu would say: smoke less than you plan :) :) :) overall, the girl is growing really well :) good luck to everyone :).

🍑 Passion Fruitz by Zamnesia — Week 8 | The Slowest Girl in the Room Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! If you've been following Passion Fruitz from the beginning, then by now you've probably realized something about this girl. She doesn't like rushing. While the other ladies in the room have already moved much further into flowering, Passion Fruitz continues to play the same card she's been playing for weeks: "I'm a very slow-growing plant." 😄 And honestly... I have to admit it. She's a slow plant. But she's a beautiful slow plant. 🌱 Still Playing the Slow Card All of these plants are the same age. They were all started under the same 12/12-from-seed concept. They're sharing the same room, the same environmental conditions, the same lighting strategy, and the same general feeding approach. Yet Passion Fruitz has decided that she's going to write her own timetable. Compared with the rest of the room, she is clearly delayed. Her transition into flowering has been considerably slower, and even now, the development of her flowers is progressing at a very measured pace. But what's fascinating is that she doesn't look like a plant that's struggling. Quite the opposite. She's green. She's vigorous. She's structurally strong. She's producing healthy new growth. She's simply taking her sweet time deciding exactly when she's ready to commit to flowering. And that makes her one of the most interesting phenotypes in this entire project. 🌿 Slow Doesn't Mean Weak Standing at approximately 72 cm, Passion Fruitz isn't the tallest plant in the room. But she's built herself into a remarkably dense and compact bush. Her stems have become thick and strong, her side branches are well developed, and the amount of healthy foliage she's carrying is impressive. Looking at her structure now, I keep thinking about what this plant might have looked like if she had been given several weeks of conventional vegetative growth before being placed under 12/12. She clearly has the ability to build. She simply chose to spend a very long time building herself before deciding to flower. And now we're finally beginning to see the consequences of that decision. ✂️ Time to Clean House This week I decided to give her a little bit of a challenge. Since Passion Fruitz isn't particularly large and flowering development is still moving slowly, I decided it was time to remove some of that excess vegetation underneath. I gave her a proper defoliation and lollipop, cleaning away lower foliage and branches that I don't want competing with the upper part of the plant. The objective wasn't to strip her down just for the sake of stripping her down. It was about directing the plant's resources toward the areas that matter most from here forward. With a relatively compact plant like this, I want her energy and structure concentrated toward the upper canopy rather than maintaining a large amount of lower growth that may have limited value later. And after the cleanup... Wow. She looks clean. 🌱 A New Shape Emerging The transformation is particularly obvious when looking underneath the canopy. The lower stem and branch structure is now much easier to see. The main stem is thick and healthy, with strong lateral branches coming away from it. Removing the lower vegetation has also opened the plant considerably, allowing much better visibility through the structure. From above, she's still incredibly leafy and full of life. But underneath, we've created a much cleaner framework. Now we wait. I'm very curious to see what she decides to do with that newly opened structure. Will she finally begin accelerating her flowering? Will the upper branches develop into stronger flower sites? Or will she simply look at me and say: "Nope. I'm still taking my time." 😂 Knowing Passion Fruitz... I wouldn't bet against option three. 💚 The Colour Says Everything One of the things I absolutely love about this phenotype is her colour. She remains incredibly lush and green. The new growth is vibrant, the mature leaves are healthy, and there is a beautiful contrast between the darker established foliage and the bright green emerging growth. The macro photographs really show this beautifully. The fresh growth almost looks luminous against the darker leaves surrounding it. For a plant that has spent so much time outside the flowering timeline of the rest of the room, she certainly hasn't been sitting around doing nothing. She's been building. And she's built herself a very impressive little machine. 💡 12/12 From Seed — The Experiment Continues This is exactly why I enjoy running the entire project under 12/12 from seed. If every phenotype behaved identically, there wouldn't be nearly as much to learn. Instead, we're seeing just how differently plants can interpret exactly the same environment. Some transition quickly. Some stretch aggressively. Some remain compact. And then there's Passion Fruitz... She looked at the 12/12 schedule and apparently decided: "I'll get there when I get there." 😂🍑 That genetic variation is one of the most valuable parts of this entire adventure. The goal isn't to force every plant into the same shape or timeline. It's to observe what each phenotype naturally wants to become. And Passion Fruitz is making that lesson impossible to miss. 💧 Feeding & Consistency This week I'm continuing with the Plagron flowering nutrition strategy. The current mix is: Terra Bloom — 2.2 ml/L Power Buds — 1 ml/L Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L Green Sensation — 1 ml/L Lemon Kick — 0.03 ml/L, used for pH adjustment when required The measured solution was around EC 2.0 mS/cm, with a pH of approximately 6.0. I'm keeping the strategy consistent rather than trying to force flowering by dramatically changing the nutrition. She's already shown us that her timeline is genetic. There's no point trying to bully her into flowering. We'll give her what she needs... And let Passion Fruitz decide when she's ready. 💡 Light & Environment The environment remains stable and consistent with the rest of the 8×8 Adventure. Current conditions: 🌡️ Day temperature: 29°C 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C 💧 Relative humidity: 60% ⚗️ pH: 6.0 ⚡ EC: ~2.0 mS/cm 🌡️ Solution temperature: 25°C 🌱 Substrate temperature: 21°C 🌬️ CO₂: 636 ppm 💧 Watering: 1.3 L per plant / 24h ? Pot size: 15 L 💡 Light schedule: 12/12 The consistency of the environment remains particularly important in this phenotype hunt. Because when everyone receives essentially the same conditions but one plant behaves completely differently... that's when genetics starts telling the story. 🌿 Under-Canopy Lighting The Lumiflora under-canopy lighting also remains part of this experiment. Passion Fruitz is particularly interesting here because she has maintained such a large amount of lower vegetation for so long. Now that we've cleaned the lower section, we'll have an even better opportunity to observe how the remaining branches respond to that additional light. I'm especially curious about the relationship between her upper canopy and the newly exposed lower structure. This is another one of those variables that may become much more interesting as flowering finally progresses. 📸 This Week's Gallery This week's photographs might be some of my favourites of Passion Fruitz so far. The full-plant images show just how dense this girl has become despite her relatively modest height. The overhead photographs reveal an incredibly broad canopy. The macro images show the beautiful contrast between mature leaves and the fresh, vibrant new growth. And then there are the stem photographs. Those are particularly satisfying. Once the lower foliage was removed, you can really appreciate the structure she has been quietly building underneath all that green. Thick main stem. Strong branches. Healthy nodes. A very solid framework. She's small... But she's definitely not fragile. 🔮 Looking Ahead And now comes the interesting part. We've cleaned her up. We've removed the lower growth that was no longer contributing to the structure we want. We've opened the plant. And we've left the upper canopy with the majority of the healthy growth. Now we wait to see what she does. I'm hoping that as flowering continues to develop, we'll start seeing more obvious flower formation throughout the upper canopy and a little more momentum from this famously slow phenotype. But I'm also realistic. I've learned by now that Passion Fruitz doesn't care what I expect. She has her own schedule. So I'm not going to rush her. I'm going to watch her. Document her. And let her show us what she can do. Because sometimes the phenotype that takes the longest to reveal herself ends up being the one you remember the most. 💚 Thank You Another week, another lesson from the 8×8 Adventure. Passion Fruitz continues to remind me that growing isn't about making every plant behave the same way. It's about understanding that every phenotype has its own personality. Some sprint. Some stretch. Some explode into flower. And some... take their sweet time. 🍑😄 A huge thank you to: 💚 GrowDiaries — for providing such an incredible platform where growers from around the world can document, learn, share, and inspire. 🌱 Zamnesia — for providing the genetics that made this phenotype hunt possible. 💜 Plagron — for supplying the nutrition supporting this journey. 💡 Future of Grow LED — for providing the lighting powering the project. 🌿 TrolMaster — for helping maintain a stable and controlled environment throughout the grow. ✨ Lumiflora — for providing the under-canopy lighting and giving us another variable to explore throughout this experiment. And, of course, thank you to everyone following along. Every comment, question, message, and bit of support makes this adventure even more enjoyable. Passion Fruitz may still be behind the rest of the room... But she's healthy. She's beautiful. She's building. And she's finally starting to show us where this story might be going. Slowly. Very, very slowly. 😂🍑 But that's okay. Because in the 8×8 Adventure, we're not here to rush the genetics. We're here to let them speak. See you next week for another chapter of Passion Fruitz. Growers Love, and happy growing everyone! 🌱🍑💚

Finally I was back. This a massive success in my opinion since she grew completely unattended from seedling stage to harvest. I kept my fan off all the time since I was abroad, this caused formation of mold in the main branch (probably Botyris). I removed it and I lost not more than 8grams I would say. I couldn't do any flushing though I have to say she didn't receive a lot of nuts (the soil was 50% soil from a previous grow and 50% organic compost. Chopping next week

Harvest day 70 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. . The smell is great I'm curious about the taste 💚 Have fun and stay healthy 💚🙏🏻 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 ‘Powered by GreenHouse Feeding’ Copy the link for 10% off all Nutrients 👇🏼 http://shop.greenhousefeeding.com/ affiliate/madelngermany_passiongrower/ 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 Water 💧 💧💧 Osmosis water mixed with Cal/Mag (24 hours stale that the chlorine evaporates) to 290 ppm and Ph with Ph- to 5.8 - 6.4 MadeInGermany

Hey Growmies, We’re kicking off another week — and we’re officially in flowering mode now! 😄 She’s showing a few signs of deficiencies from the past weeks, but only on the bigger fan leaves (which I’ll be removing sooner or later anyway). The ones supporting the buds are still looking good 🙂 This week I’ll slowly start clearing out the soil and see how she responds, checking if she’s rooted enough into the new pot to hold herself up once the base soil is removed and it’s just the roots keeping her in place. All in all, I’m happy with this girl 🙂🧡💚

* ************** Week 7 - May 23 to 29, 2020 - Days 43 to 49 from germination **************** * This week she started to take more shape and came out of her ball form and standing up now. Side branches are still growing strong and reaching for the top of the canopy. Increased light intensity also as she is getting bigger and bushy with leaves now. She has increased her feed amounts this week and eating more now. She is happiest when her pot is dry and her leaves are up and praying. Heavy leaf strip and removed some lower nodes mid week. Letting her focus on growing the top nodes by removing lower points. Opened up the middle nice now and she is looking like a cannabis plant😀 Keep an eye on nitrogen though as she is green. She was getting choked out on the lower growth so removing some and letting the light in, the rest of the of sites should help her fatten up. Little more detail....... May 23/20, Day 43 - 3L feed - VeloKelp & Rezin & L.Wt & Sensyzime @ 1.5ml = 150ppm and 6.1pH - she is setting her buds but her leaves still look dark. - keeping ppm lower at 150. - main top reaching up more today. - Flower light switch turned on and raised the lights to increase intensity now. May 24/20 - Day 44 - Dry out day - Only two girls in the tent today so she should react well. - (GSC plants not flipping and moved to veg tent so made room in flower tent.) May 25/20 - Day 45 - fed twice today - 7:30am feed: 2L Sensyzime, Piranha, Rhino Skin, Rezin @ 1.5ml/L = 335ppm and 5.9 pH. - 8:30pm feed: Vitathrive & Velokelp @ 1.5ml/L = 350ppm and 5.8pH - heavy leaf strip today. May 26/20 - Day 46 - dry out day. - keep an eye on the girl because the last time the girl dried out she reacted well - noticed the inner growth is slightly brown around the edges. Buds/pistols are not very tall. Light should help with this. - still only two girls in the tent. May 27/20 - Day 47 - 3L feed: Mass&Terp @ 3ml/L, Rezin&LWt&Vita @ 1.5ml/L, CalMag&Rhino&Piran&D.F. @ 1ml/L = 1250ppm & 6.0pH - added more water to reduce ppm to 1080.........1250 a little high right now. - she was ready to be fed.....eating a little more now. - Her hairs are getting longer and reaching out more now......light helps😀 May 28/20 - Day 48 - 2L feed: Mass @ 4ml/L, Vita & Sensyzime @ 2ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml/L = 1350ppm - little high so added water reduce ppm 1100 - She is taller and today and really looking nice. - She definitely likes it when her pot dries out. May 29/20 - Day 49 - dry out day - letting her be....she is happy😀 That wraps up another week. It has been great because she is really taking shape now and looking like the little girl I had in my mind👌
