Resin is increasing and looks like bud sites are ready to start putting on some bulk. Issue with low ph drift reaching 5.2 so I decreased 50ppm with distilled water without calmag to soften the water and counter the drift. After decreasing ppm, ph drift continues, so I flushed for 2 days with distilled water and added back nutrients at half strength to increase to 800 ppm over time.

In Conclusion guys I just wished 2 out of the 3 ladies didn't stunt on me so I could have had more to harvest. It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. My Blackberry Moon Rocks are growing like crazy! Most of the leaves are a nice, deep green, but I noticed a few on one plant were a little yellow. I did some research and it sounds like they need some extra nutrients, so I'll be adding those in on the next watering. I can't wait to see how much bigger and bushier these beauties get.

So It's week 7 of flowering for my Supafreak Girl and let me tell you, she's looking absolutely stunning! I can't help but feel proud and excited every time I check up on her progress. It's been a bit of a wild ride getting here, but it's all been worth it. The Supafreak strain definitely lives up to its name - this plant is a freak of nature in the best way possible. As we are in the maintenance phase, I'm just admiring her beauty and keeping an eye on those trichomes. It's amazing how much can change in just a day or two. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Oh cindy.... be mine ! They're all doing great , pushing out these typical sativa plant leafs, thin, long, real nice. this plant is squat but it got flipped a few days ago so lets see how it does with the stretch. Smell is getting serious by now, i dont know how that's going to work when i'm in the full flower probably i'll need a third extractor and a third carbon filter... the noise on these fans is insane though at 150W each it's not easy to stay in the room with the buzzing sound .... Did some training on these, two defoliations that "s a total of three so far. Funniest thing happened : i mixed my specialised micro (cal mag + "rare micro" like boron, mobi, etc) which is green powder with the Biotabs Orgatrex which is brown liquid and my feed ended up blue lol i still watered with it, so pray for my plants lol Veg is finally over ! They are already gaining weight and producing good resin, at just 50 days old. Next week, a larger application of ferts, in this organic living soil. The union of two great worlds.
